After Naruto and Sirzechs' Duel
Underworld
Diehauser Belial could not contain the smile that was making its way to his face.
With Naruto Phenex's victory against Sirzechs Lucifer, the influence of the Great King Faction would take a massive hit, even more than it already had. The new Lucifer's ascension can only mean that the Four Great Satans would be more proactive in dealing with threats as well as ensuring that they carry power to make decisions for Devilkind.
But of course, Diehauser's personal interest in this matter ran deeper than that.
This changing of guard also means that the Emperor of the Rating Games can begin acting out more aggressively in his own vendetta against The Great King Faction, one rooted in the death of Diehauser's younger cousin, Cleria.
Diehauser and the House of Belial operated in a different way compared to most devil houses. Diehauser himself grew up in a house that was located in the depths of a small mountain, a situation brought upon by the struggles the House of Belial had to deal with following significant losses in the Great War and in the Devil Civil War. They weren't exactly poor like the common folk, but the House of Belial, before Diehauser's rise, did not enjoy the same luxury as the other High-class Devil families do. It was in this humble situation that the value of familial love became one of the key tenets of the House of Belial.
The Emperor of the Rating Game was no different.
After all, it is this strong sense of familial love that developed his growing grudge against The Great King Faction. A grudge that admittedly, made him forego some of the virtues taught to him by his family; a sacrifice a person makes when they're making a deal with the Devil.
All for the pursuit of knowledge to forward his agenda of attaining justice.
He may perhaps be too far gone, but the opportunity to fulfill his goals has presented itself.
And perhaps, he might even be able to regain the honor he felt to have lost.
"Naruto Phenex... no. Lord Naruto Lucifer. May you never lose sight of your noble goals." Diehauser thought to himself, eyes glued to the broadcasted replay of the duel between Naruto and Sirzechs.
With a new administration running the Underworld, it was time to make a gamble.
And the Emperor has already placed his bet.
Three Days Later - Underworld
Naruto Lucifer's Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony of Naruto Phenex as the new Maou Lucifer took place in the grand hall of the Lucifer's Castle. This inauguration was not like any other, as the main hall was not just filled with the elite members of each devil clan, those of the common folk were also there, being given the privilege to bask in the glory of the new Maou Lucifer. The atmosphere was as tense as it was electric. After all, the power dynamic of the devil society was about to change with the arrival of the new Maou.
Naruto Phenex, dressed in a luxurious red robe with golden trimmings, walked down the aisle with his head held high. The room was silent as all eyes were on him.
Finally, Naruto reached the throne at the end of the hall. He stared at the massive, golden throne in the middle and then looked out at the crowd, a small smile playing on his lips.
A voice boomed throughout the hall, declaring the beginning of the inauguration ceremony.
"Lords and ladies of the Underworld, we are gathered here today to inaugurate Naruto Phenex as the new Maou Lucifer."
As Naruto turned his head to his right, he saw the figure of the outgoing Maou Lucifer, Sirzechs Lucifer, who greeted him with a smile.
Naruto said nothing and knelt down to officially begin the ceremony.
Sirzechs spoke in a clear voice, "Naruto Phenex, by the merit of your victory in our duel, I, Sirzechs Lucifer humbly bestow upon you the epithet of the Maou Lucifer. May you continuously serve the Underworld and all its children to the best of your ability." He then placed his crown on Naruto's head, signifying the transfer of power.
Sirzechs stared at Naruto, before reciprocating Naruto's earlier gesture and knelt down.
"All hail Lord Lucifer, long may he reign!" Sirzechs declared, motioning for the gathered devils to echo his chant.
"All hail Lord Lucifer, long may he reign!"
"All hail Lord Lucifer, long may he reign!"
"All hail Lord Lucifer, long may he reign!"
Naruto stood up, now adorned with the crown, and gazed out at the assembly. The gathered devils continued on with their cheering and it took them a couple of minutes to settle down. Naruto reveled in the atmosphere surrounding the Lucifer's Castle before he began to speak.
"My fellow devils, I, Naruto Lucifer, stand before you today as your new Maou Lucifer. I promise to lead our realm with strength, fairness, and a firm hand. I will work tirelessly to maintain the peace and prosperity of our land, and I will not hesitate to defend it against any threats. Let us move forward, together, as one united force!"
The crowd cheered even louder, showing their support for their new ruler. Naruto had proven himself to be a powerful devil, and they were confident that he would lead their realm to greatness.
The leaders of the devil houses then stepped forward one by one to offer their congratulations to the new Maou.
Then, Lord Bael himself, head of the most influential devil house appeared.
Lord Bael approached Naruto with a smile on his face and as he stood face-to-face with the new Lucifer, Lord Bael stretched his hand out, which Naruto reciprocated in a tension-filled handshake. "Congratulations on your inauguration, Lord Lucifer. I have no doubt that you will lead our society to greatness...so long as you never forget the very tenet of Devilhood. The Great King Faction will be watching you closely, my Lord."
Naruto merely nodded in response and elected to just size up the Great King.
"Quite the pretentious aura for a man who cannot do jack without Zekram Bael's advice," Naruto thought to himself.
"I look forward to working with you to ensure the Underworld's continued prosperity, Lord Bael." Naruto then replied, opting not to antagonize Lord Bael. As fun as that would have been, there's a time and place for everything.
Lord Bael nodded and immediately turned his back, walking away from the Maou Lucifer, his objective for the night seemingly completed.
Naruto was then almost caught off-guard when he felt added clinging to his back.
"Ara~! Quite the intense stand-off wasn't it, Naru?"
"Sera! How many times do I have to tell you to stop clinging to my back, dattebayo!" Naruto scolded the Maou Leviathan, who giggled in response.
"Dattebayo?" Serafall asked.
"A verbal tick I gained," Naruto replied.
"Ooooh! I should think of one myself then! It would be a hit on my TV show," Serafall said.
"You're so silly, Sera," Naruto said, leading to Serafall to pout.
"I'm serious! It would make my character Levia-tan more popular with the kids!" Serafall reasoned out.
Naruto shook his head and laughed.
The pair were then joined by Ajuka and Falbium, who walked towards them.
"Ajuka-tan! Falbium-tan!" Serafall waved a hand at the two, her other hand and both feet still clinging to Naruto.
The new Lucifer, in question, nodded at his fellow Satans.
"Falbium! Must be the first time I've seen you since I returned," Naruto greeted the Maou Asmodeus, who sent him a lazy nod.
"I needed to brace myself because it's too loud whenever you're around," Falbium responded, leading Naruto to chuckle.
Serafall pointed a finger at Falbium and said, "Hey, you're being mean to Naru!"
Falbium turned his head to Serafall and sent her a blank stare.
"I was not being mean to him. It's too loud whenever he's around because you're always around him," he clarified before Serafall got off Naruto's back and pounced at Falbium.
"Some things never change, do they?" Ajuka rhetorically asked, his eyes drawn to the comical scene of Serafall putting Falbium in a Boston Crab.
"You're not even defending yourself!"
"I don't wanna bother!"
"Defend your honor like a man!"
"Nope."
Naruto laughed at the scene unfolding in front of him before he faced Ajuka.
"How about we let them be for a while and have a talk?" Naruto suggested.
Ajuka nodded and both Satans walked off the stage. It wouldn't be until some time later when Serafall realized they left, before once again putting Falbium on a submission hold for "not telling Sera where Naru went."
Heaven
Throne of Heaven
A man with long, blonde hair and green eyes sat on his throne, a piece of paper currently being held by his left hand, a serious expression etched on his face. This man is Michael, one of the Four Great Seraphs and the current ruler of Heaven.
Michael sits with a regal bearing, his eyes scanning the pages of the report with an intense gaze. His expression is serious and focused, as he takes in the information contained within. As he reads, his hand occasionally reaches up to stroke his chin, a sign of deep thought and consideration.
"What an interesting development," Michael said to himself.
The sound of soft footsteps breaks his concentration, and he looks up to see a beautiful woman with curly, blonde hair entering the Throne of Heaven.
"Gabriel, what brings you to the Throne of Heaven?" Michael asked.
Gabriel's eyes wandered through the Throne of Heaven until they found themselves staring at the paper in Michael's hand.
"I saw someone exit the Throne of Heaven with such a worried look on his face so I went here to ask what is going on," Gabriel replied before she closed the doors to the Throne of Heaven.
"I would not say it is entirely worrying, but the messenger came with news from the Underworld. Naruto Phenex is now the Maou Lucifer following his victory in a duel against Sirzechs Lucifer," Michael answered.
Gabriel's eyes widened at this announcement, very uncharacteristic for the normally clueless Seraph.
This did not go unnoticed by Michael, who raised an eyebrow at his sister's reaction.
"Have you personally met him, sister?" Michael asked.
Gabriel nodded.
"I saw him over 200 years ago during one of my travels in Europe. I had been thoroughly shocked when I sensed him." Gabriel then paused, recalling her surprise during her encounter with the then Naruto Phenex.
After all, it was not every day you encounter a devil with such a pure heart...it was almost as if the man was meant to be an Angel. Naruto's disposition is a massive contradiction that the Seraph had no answers for.
"His purity, brother... it was unlike anything I felt before. It is only father's own soul that trumped what I felt within him." Gabriel finished.
Michael was surprised at Gabriel's admittance as he knew that amongst their siblings, Gabriel was the one given the gift to intimately connect with people. While Michael himself held no prejudice against devils, knowing that one of them has a purity to the same degree as those from Heaven... is shocking.
"Then, it should be celebrated that a man of his disposition is now in charge of the Devils. Perhaps, we can bridge the differences between our factions?" Michael said in hypothetical wonder.
Gabriel smiled at her brother.
"I can only hope for that as well, brother."
Underworld
Gremory Mansion
Sirzechs Gremory, as he's once again called, slumped over his desk, intrusive thoughts entering his mind almost every second. He may have already steeled his resolve to atone for his transgressions against Naruto and even Rias, but facing reality... was proving to be a challenge.
Was everything worth it?
What would have happened if I played things better?
Am I actually fine with what I have lost?
These questions repeatedly echoed themselves in the former Lucifer's mind. It was definitely easy to do things when you have yet to absorb the reality of their outcomes.
Now, Sirzechs was no longer Lucifer and had his influence significantly reduced.
Now, Sirzechs became the object of scorn for many citizens of the Underworld as they deemed him the cause for making the now Naruto Lucifer walk away from the Underworld.
And not just that...
Even his little sister Rias looked at him and Grayfia with disgust, something that Sirzechs knows would eventually pass, but the fact that it was happening... hurt him.
Sirzechs already knew these things were bound to happen after he decided to submit to Naruto's plays, but again, it hits differently when it finally happens.
But perhaps, after Rias' scorn towards him, what hurt most was how quickly his friends and allies turned their back on him to align with Naruto immediately after the then-Phenex heir returned.
Don't get Sirzechs wrong, because he can definitely understand why it happened. Naruto's reemergence provided them with the opportunity to finally fight back in their persisting power struggle against the Great King Faction... but Sirzechs is no saint, he's a devil.
And Devils are in tune with their selfishness. There is a traitorous thought within him that wants to get back at everyone who left him when he needed them.
But, he won't act out on it.
Because regardless of whether or not Sirzechs found his circumstances unfair, he did not have it in him to feel vengeful about the entire situation.
Suddenly, the door to his office opened, causing Sirzechs to turn his head.
"Sirzechs? It's time for dinner." It was his wife, Grayfia, poking her head into the room.
Sirzechs rubbed his eyes and forced a smile. "I'll be down there in a moment," he said.
Grayfia walked over to his desk, concern etched on her face. "As much as you've been trying to hide it, I can see your frustrations over this entire ordeal. We've been married for so long already, Sirzechs. I can feel these things. While the rational side in you has inferred that this was the right thing to have happened, the emotional part within you... disagrees. And that's fine. But... please, allow me to carry your burdens with you."
Sirzechs sighed, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "You're right, Grayfia. However, I feel like... I don't serve to be as upset as I currently am so that's why... that's why I've been keeping these thoughts to myself. I know I will eventually move on from this, that's why I feel like I can just take it."
Grayfia shook her head. "Despite your sins and your desire to atone, you still have the right to feel the way you feel. And that's exactly why you should let people in. When you keep things bottled up for too long, you might eventually end up doing something you'd regret. So please, let us help you get through this. Milicas have been tremendously worried about you, Sirzechs. If not for me, then at least, do it for our son. Allow people to help you." The silver-haired woman pleaded.
Sirzechs let out a smile directed at his wife.
Grayfia always knew the things to say whenever he was feeling down and lost.
"Thanks, Grayfia. I needed that." Sirzechs said before walking towards his wife and giving her a kiss.
It will take some time, but Sirzechs will find a way to bounce back. Sure, he has lost his position and most of his influence, but there is still much to do with his life.
He's not going down that easily.
Bael Mansion
Lord Bael currently sat across from his progenitor, Zekram Bael, a tense atmosphere filling up the room the two Baels occupied.
The Bael progenitor's gaze focused on Lord Bael, seemingly looking deep into his soul. This unnerved the current Bael Lord who nervously looked back at Zekram.
Zekram then chuckled.
"You seem too stiff, child. What's the matter?" He asked.
"Naruto Lucifer-"
Lord Bael was then cut off by Zekram, who sent him a glare.
"Naruto Phenex, you mean?" Zekram countered.
Zekram held tremendous reverence and respect for the Four Original Satans due to him being one of the first-generation Devils and as such, he refuses to acknowledge any of the new Satans using the names of the original, electing to refer to them with the names of their original houses.
And he could get away with it.
After all, he is the Great King, the greatest political figure in the Underworld.
"Yes, my Lord." Lord Bael replied.
"What about him?" Zekram asked, an eyebrow raised as he could sense just how troubled Lord Bael was.
"Naruto Phenex's aggressive moves for reform and his continuously growing power base are beginning to hurt the Great King Faction. His Supernova Faction's influence is growing by the day and some influential people within the Great King Faction have already defected to his side," Lord Bael replied.
Zekram once again chuckled.
"Who do you think told them to defect?"
Lord Bael's eyes widened.
"As it is now, Naruto Phenex holds all the cards. People, influence, the pull. But, as quick as he was in regaining his tremendous influence, I can see how that in itself would be his undoing. Child, we are devils. We are inherently selfish and motivated by our own self-interest. This whole unifying bullshit he has been spouting? That would only last for a while. There is something that a human political scientist coined... I believe he called it "the paradox of collective action." Eventually, individual interests would divide his faction, which was why I planted certain people in his faction, to sow dissent; to make them remember that they are devils." Zekram said.
Lord Bael said nothing in return, and Zekram took it as his cue to continue.
"Devil Nobles' traditions, old teachings, and values such as Devil blood purity, these are tenets that are strong in most of the Devils in that Supernova faction you've been worrying about. It seems you still have much to learn, Child. We, devils, put traditions on the highest pedestal. After all, it is normal for us to bathe in our arrogance and belief in our superiority. Eventually, people rallying behind Naruto Phenex would realize that being with his cause would harm their personal interests. It is then where we strike and limit his hold over devilkind. Eventually, Naruto Phenex will come to know that even the mightiest of Devils bows down before the Great King," Zekram finished and then smirked at the prospect of his words.
And it was not like he was wrong.
Devils truly are driven by their selfish desires and belief in their superiority above all. That's why devils have always been obsessed with a hierarchical system where they stand at the very top.
Deep down, even if they say how they desire for progressive thinking, they would only accept that world if that means they remain on top.
Once it starts being evident that their influence is waning, they would go back to their roots.
Just as devilkind always did.
"What should I do about Naruto Phenex?" Lord Bael asked.
"Let me handle him for now. While the Great King Faction is suffering significant losses, the Great King himself remains as strong as ever. Watch my every move and learn from it, child. Then perhaps, you wouldn't be needing me holding your hand in every minor inconvenience," Zekram said before disappearing into a magic circle.
Lord Bael could only grit his teeth in a mixture of frustration and anger.
One Week Later
Lucifer's Castle
Naruto Lucifer leaned on his throne as he read the report presented to him by an agent of the Devil Intelligence Unit. It would seem like Kokabiel, one of the leaders of Grigori, has stolen three Excalibur fragments and is currently making base in Kuoh, a Devil territory.
It doesn't take a genius to understand Kokabiel's motivation in doing so.
He is planning to be the catalyst of another Great War between the Three Factions for the simple reason of "just because he wants to."
"Sera would tear out every piece of his body if she finds out about this," Naruto thought to himself and chuckled at the mental image.
Naruto himself was not particularly worried about this situation. In fact, the Maou Lucifer already knew what he was going to do.
He will take advantage of Kokabiel's scheme and use it as the catalyst to build up a positive relationship between the Three Factions. It would be very easy to do given how favorable the conditions are for his cause.
In Kokabiel's inevitable death, there is no major dissenting power within the Grigori and with Naruto's awareness of the fact that Azazel would rather research on Sacred Gears than wage war, then it is most likely that they'd be open to talks, as well as being the faction to offer the most compromise given Kokabiel came from his faction. Moving onto Heaven, they're a bunch of manufactured good guys... that pretty much explains everything. The only issue would be the Church, but worst comes to worst, Naruto himself could just murder the pope and the rest of his traditionalist goons.
Incognito, of course.
He was not the best ninja in recorded history for nothing. Despite his more flashy and destructive powers, he can still make murders look like accidents.
The major problem, for his part, would be the probable opposition of the Great King Faction, but the Maou Lucifer was feeling confident that they would go along with his ploy in the meantime.
After all, it wouldn't look good on them if they openly oppose a union that would, for the most part, benefit devilkind.
"Since my return, I'm starting to feel like the protagonist of some novel with how things have conveniently gone in my favor," Naruto thought to himself before shaking his head at the silly thought.
Naruto was interrupted in his thoughts when he heard a knock on his office.
"Lord Lucifer, it is I, Diehauser of House Belial." The voice from the outside called out.
"Ah, the Emperor himself! Come in, I have been expecting you," Naruto replied and then the door opened to reveal the figure of Diehauser Belial.
A smile made its way to Diehauser's graceful face as he stood face-to-face with Naruto Lucifer for the first time.
"An honor to finally meet you, Lord Lucifer," Diehauser said as he bowed to the Devil King.
"The honor is all mine. After all, it's not every day that the Emperor of the Rating Game requests an audience," Naruto replied.
Naruto then gestured for Diehauser to sit and had a maid (a Shadow Clone in disguise) offer tea and snacks for Diehauser.
"Quite odd to see you here given the House of Belial is allied to the Great King Faction," Naruto said.
Diehauser chuckled at the blunt comment of the Maou Lucifer before his gaze turned serious.
"And yet, I believe you'll find it difficult to find someone who loathes them more than I do," Diehauser said, a smile plastered on his face as he said that.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at that.
"Lord Lucifer, I may have something that can help you in your mission of reining in the Great King Faction. All I ask is your protection from the backlash it would have on my house," Diehauser continued.
Naruto stared at the Rating Game Champion, who did not deter in his gaze.
Diehauser Belial... is an interesting individual.
Here is a man who was raised with values seemingly contradictory to the tenets of devilkind, something brought upon by the humble lifestyle the House of Belial had to live with prior to Diehauser's emergence as a devil with comparable powers to a Maou.
Yet, Diehauser can also operate pragmatically.
Naruto, after all, knew a certain secret of Diehauser Belial that nobody knew about. But, he could not blame the man for his choice because it was for the sake of bringing justice for his cousin who died under questionable circumstances, something that had the fingerprints of the Great King Faction if Diehauser's visit was any indicator.
"Would knowledge about the Great King Faction's shenanigans make up for your affiliation with Rizevim Livan Lucifer?" Naruto responded and sent a smile to Diehauser, whose eyes widened at the revelation.
"Lord Lucifer... Ho...how did you know about that?" Diehauser asked, not even bothering to deny Naruto's accusation. There was no point to it, in Diehauser's mind.
"Knowledge is power, Diehauser Belial. As the Emperor of the Rating Games, surely, you know that," Naruto responded before he once again spoke.
"But I will not scorn you for it. To me, it just shows just how deep the Belial tenet of familial love goes. However, I don't think the rest of the Underworld would see it that way," Naruto continued.
Diehauser remained silent, well aware of the truth behind Naruto's words.
"What can I do for you, Lord Lucifer?" Diehauser asked, already knowing where Naruto Lucifer was headed with their conversation. That would be to assign him a dangerous task which, upon completion, will secure him the Lucifer's mercy and assistance.
Naruto smiled at Diehauser, pleased at his reaction.
"You catch up quick. Truly an admirable trait," Naruto complimented Diehauser before speaking again.
"But before that, what information do you have about the Great King faction?"
Diehauser leaned back on the couch he was sitting on and sighed, no doubt a product of his sorrow for what he was about to reveal.
"Cleria Belial, my cousin... died under the orders of the Great King Faction. They framed it as something that had to happen because of her romantic relationship with an exorcist, but there is a gaping hole as to why they were forced to act. Cleria was a smart woman, it is unlikely for her to make a mistake that would immediately get her killed. It was then upon joining Qlippoth that I found out that the Great King Faction had her killed," Diehauser paused, letting out a couple of breaths before continuing.
"All because they wanted to preserve a secret...one that would shake the very foundation of the Rating Game," he finished.
"The Rating Game?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, the Rating Game. It has been used by the Great King Faction to further their influence in the Underworld. In fact, most of those in the Top 10 are under their employ." Diehauser answered.
"So what does this have to do with Cleria's death?" Naruto asked.
The Maou Lucifer already suspects what exactly led to Cleria's death, but was unsure whether or not that was it.
"Have you heard the rumor about the King Piece?" Diehauser responded.
Naruto shook his head.
"The Evil Piece system only has 15 pieces when handed out to High-Class Devils, the 16th piece would be the King Piece, but it was not mass produced because it has a dangerous property to significantly augment the power of whoever uses it. There were only a few pieces that Lord Beelzebub produced, and the Great King Faction had managed to secure plenty of it. To the rest of the Underworld, however, this was just a rumor," Diehauser elaborated.
"Power augmentation, huh? So the Great King Faction had Cleria killed for her knowledge of the King Piece's existence because they wanted to keep it secret, and in turn, cover up the corruption in the Rating Games," Naruto concluded, leading Diehauser to nod his head.
"Did you manage to get your hands on one, Emperor?" Naruto asked.
Diehauser shook his head.
"I am still looking to find one, I'm afraid," he said.
Naruto shrugged and then said, "Then consider that as one of my conditions in order for the Four Great Satans to protect you and the House of Belial."
"One? What other conditions do I have to fulfill, Lord Lucifer"
"I will give you two tasks in total, Diehauser Belial. One, to secure the protection of your house from the machinations of the Great King Faction. And the second, to secure your protection following your affiliation with Rizevim Livan Lucifer."
"Is that all, Lord Lucifer?" Diehauser responded.
"That's all. For your second mission, I want you to gather more information regarding Qlippoth. They are, by far, the most dangerous group within the Khaos Brigade, and the ones with the most sinister goals. All I have managed to gather are those involved with Qlippoth and what they want to do, but not how they wish to enact their vision. This, is where you come in, Diehauser Belial. Do this, and I will protect you, as well as the House of Belial."
Diehauser stared at Naruto before he smiled.
Naruto Lucifer truly was an amusing Devil. Rarely does Diehauser see a devil leader who proactively deals with immediate problems, or at least, one with noble intentions. Most devils, after all, only react quickly if it's an issue that challenges their direct interests.
"As vast as the reach of the new Devil Intelligence Unit is, there is still information beyond our reach. What I'm tasking you, is perhaps the most crucial one that I have given out. Rizevim and the Qlippoth currently are the biggest threat to our people, yet barely anyone knows about this. A battle wherein the enemy is protected by its anonymity is a battle I do not wish to fight," Naruto said.
"Then I sincerely accept this mission, Lord Lucifer. May this duty be sufficient in atoning for my sins to my family and to my honor," Diehauser said, bowing his head to Naruto.
"I look forward to working with you, Diehauser Belial. I will hold on to my end of the bargain so long as you do the same," Naruto said, extending out his hand which Diehauser shook.
Diehauser smiled at the Maou Lucifer, the unspoken warning against betrayal already understood by the Emperor of the Rating Game.
Not that he had any plans.
Diehauser has already made his gamble and he will stick by it.
His gamble?
To offer himself to the new Maou Lucifer... to finally enact his vengeance over the Great King Faction and the House of Bael.
And it seems like it paid off.
End of Chapter
A/N: This chapter is geared towards building the future arcs of this story. It might be a little boring, but it serves a purpose that would reveal itself later on. In case you guys haven't noticed, I made another change from canon DxD, which is Diehauser's early knowledge of the King Piece. I figured it would be better if he knew it now because it fits with the entire picture of Naruto as the new Lucifer aiming to weed out the corruption within Devil society. Diehauser will play a major role moving forward, but will mostly be operating off-screen.
Hopefully, you guys still enjoyed this chapter.
See you at the next one!
