Defeat The Cyber Dragon

The Cyber Dragon roared then its wings exposed two cannons then began to gather energy to fire two energy beams at us. I held my hand out then an energy barrier formed around us then blocked the energy beams that was fired at us.

"This is it." Rebecca smirked. "The Ace has awakened!"

The energy barrier disappeared then I lowered my hand. I adjusted my mask then smirked.

"Our turn." I said then pointed. "Alice aim for the electrical orb on the appendages of Cyber Dragon. Eve keep it stationary for as long as you can. Eliza use your blood magic to help Eve. The rest of you, follow my lead!"

I ran forward toward Cyber Dragon. Wendy, Rebecca, Rhea, and Noel ran behind me and all of us began our battle against Cyber Dragon.

"Cyber Dragon! Kill them all!" The man bellowed.

Cyber Dragon roared then took aim at me. He fired multiple missiles at me. I sliced the first missile in half then it exploded. The next wave of missiles rushed toward us. Rhea, Noel, and Wendy deflected and destroyed the missiles and multiple explosions happened around us.

Rebecca and I rushed forward then noticed roots and blood tentacles emerging from the ground, preventing Cyber Dragon from moving. Rebecca vaulted over Cyber Dragon's tail then used one of the emerging roots to go for one of Cyber Dragon's weak spots. She struck one of the weak spots then noticed it had cracked.

Alice took aim and fired a sniper bullet at the weak spot Rebecca hit then destroyed the electrical orb. The left arm of the Cyber Dragon came off which enraged Cyber Dragon even more. Its body began to shine red then it fired a beam of energy at Alice.

I looked back then held my hand out toward Alice then a wall of energy blocked the beam. Alice grunted and looked at me. She smiled at me then stood up and took aim again.

I dashed toward the Cyber Dragon then unholstered my gun. I slid under Cyber Dragon's tail then threw my katana at one if its weak spots. Cyber Dragon used its tail to deflect my katana back toward me. I caught it and fired a bullet at the electrical orb on its leg. Wendy rushed forward then struck the electrical orb, breaking it. The leg of the Cyber Dragon was destroyed and Cyber Dragon roared once again.

"Four more! Let's keep at it!" I bellowed then ran toward the other leg. I noticed multiple missiles homing in on me.

I dodged a few of the missiles then heard sniper shots and watched the bullets collide with the missiles and explode. I rushed out of the smoke then the Talent Symbol shined on my mask. I slashed at the weak spot then placed a sticky bomb on it and took over. I detonated the bomb and destroyed Cyber Dragon's other leg.

Cyber Dragon fell to the ground then flapped its wings rapidly, creating a whirlwind, blowing me, Rebecca, Rhea, and Noel away. Cyber Dragon flew to the sky, evading the roots and blood tentacles that followed behind it.

Cyber Dragon fired two beams of energy at the roots and blood magic, destroying them. It looked down at us then let out a loud mechanical roar. Cyber Dragon pointed its tail at us then the tip of its tail opened and exposed the barrel of a railgun. It fired a massive red beam at us.

I rushed forward and held my hands out, creating a barrier around us. The beam collided against the barrier and I grunted as I tried my hardest to protect everyone. I noticed the barrier crack then the beam broke through and struck the ground, causing an explosion to blow us away.

Rebecca hit her back against a car then grunted. She panted and looked up, seeing the smoke. She stood up and watched her teammates stand up as well.

"Ryder!" Rebecca yelled and hurried toward me.

I grunted softly then picked my mask up off the ground. I stood up and put the mask back on. I looked up at the Cyber Dragon then watched it fly in circles above us.

I walked forward then fell onto one knee. I looked at my hands and noticed them shaking. "My body...is slowly giving out.."

"Ryder! Retreat!" Rhea yelled.

I wanted to, but The Ace had other plans. I stood up slowly then glared at the dragon and rushed ahead.

"Ryder! Tch! His Alter Ego has full control! He's not thinking!" Eve said then held her hand toward me.

Roots began to rush after me and wrapped around my waist and pulled me out of the way of a barrage of missiles raining down. I grunted and looked back at Eve.

"Let me go, Cyber Dragon needs to be defeated. NOW!" I yelled.

"We can't reach it as long as Cyber Dragon has the high ground! You'll die trying to reach it alone!" Eve said.

I sighed then closed my eye and Eve let me go. "So what do you suggest we do? None of us but Eliza can reach her and she doesn't perform well during the day. The longer we waste time, the less time we have to save our allies."

"Use our power to reach Cyber Dragon and bring it back to ground level." Eve said. "It will work!"

I stared at Eve then nodded. "Let's do it."

Eve nodded then watched me rush forward. I jumped up and noticed a pillar of wood rising from the ground. I landed on it then jumped up then another pillar of wood hurried after me. I landed on top of the second pillar and rose even higher to the sky.

Cyber Dragon noticed me then roared. It began to rapidly fire missiles at me. I jumped up and avoided the missiles as they hit the wood pillar. I bellowed and pulled out a grappling hook gun from my utility belt. I fired it and the hook flew toward Cyber Dragon and latched onto its arm. The rope began to retract and pull me up toward Cyber Dragon.

I landed on its arm then noticed how high up I was. Cyber Dragon began thrashing about, trying to throw me off. I grunted and stabbed a dagger in its arm, holding on for dear life. The dragon roared and dove to the ground at high speeds. I grunted and held my mask on my face then ducked my head, avoiding Alice's sniper bullet. It hit the electrical orb and the dragon roared then did a barrel roll as it swooped back in the air. I hand slipped off the handle of the dagger then I began to fall.

Eliza constructed hands made from her blood magic to catch me. I sighed softly as I got out of the blood hands. I looked at Eliza then nodded and she smiled at me.

I looked back up and adjusted my mask. "This bastard is getting annoying."

"There's not much we can do. I don't have my Ace Abilities anymore so I can't do much." Rebecca said.

"Eliza." I said.

Eliza giggled and constructed a railgun with her blood magic. "I'm on it, my love~" She placed a grenade inside the railgun. She pulled the trigger then a massive beam hit Cyber Dragon and exploded.

Cyber Dragon roared loudly then fell to the ground, stunned. I ran toward the Cyber Dragon then rushed it with attacks upon its weak spot then destroyed its other arm. Alice fired multiple sniper bullets at one of its wings then Wendy ran ahead and kicked the electrical orb and destroyed a wing.

Cyber Dragon was on the ground, unable to walk or fly. I walked ahead then thrusted my sword through its main weak spot on its head. Cyber Dragon's body shined brightly then Eve used her power to pull me away from the explosion.

"They...they beat the Cyber Dragon.." The man said in shock. "All units retreat!"

I watched them retreat then grunted softly. I fell onto one knee then took off my mask. "Finally..." I sighed and sat on the ground.

"Ryder!" Rhea said then hurried to me and got on the ground to hug me from behind. "Your leadership helped us beat that machine!~"

I smiled and looked back at her. "We got rid of that issue, but another remains...how are we going to get to Pontchartrain Lake..?"

"Even with our powers combined, it won't be enough." Eve said.

I looked at the destroyed bridge then stood up as Rhea let me go. I called Charlotte and put her on speaker.

"Yes, my beloved?" Charlotte answered.

"We...we ran into a problem. Our pathway to Pontchartrain Lake has been cut off and it isn't the only pathway to our destination." I said.

"Mmm...I see. I'll be there. Just hang tight." Charlotte said.

"Eh? The Boss is coming here?" Eve asked.

"Charlotte's coming here?!" Rebecca asked in excitement.

"She is." I nodded. "For now let's wait."

I looked at my mask as a sat on the hood of Wendy's car then closed my eyes. "You're so much cooler than I am. The Ace will always be cooler than Ryder. Why couldn't I have been like this from the jump?"

Rhea noticed I was talking to the mask then walked toward me. She held my chin and made me look up at her. "I see you're trying to build a connection with The Ace, but it won't happen unless you wear the mask."

"I know, but I feel like it's easier to talk to her like this. I heard her voice earlier. She was trying to say my name, but it wasn't enough for me to recognize it fully." I said as I gazed into Rhea's eyes.

Rhea smiled and placed her hands on the hood of the car. "If she's speaking to you, that means you're getting closer to your potential. You were amazing out there earlier..~ All there is left is to defeat Barbara.."

I nodded then watched as she leaned in to kiss my lips. I kissed back then she pulled away and went back to Wendy, Alice, and Eliza. I watched her then felt Rebecca smack my back.

"Love bug!~ I knew to expect cool shit from you, but you went above and beyond!~ The way you used Eve's power to make your way to Cyber Dragon! It had me geeking on the inside..~ My little brother...he's becoming a hero..~" Rebecca smiled at me.

"You didn't want to join the others?" I asked.

"Nah, not this go around. I wanted to spend time with you..~" Rebecca said then looked at the night sky with me. "You know, if I hadn't retired my job, I would've been in this position. I was once chosen for the spot of The Ace and I became The Ace. Everything that you can do and will be able to do, I've experienced it. I can always show you the ins and outs of being The Ace."

I smiled and looked at Rebecca. "I would very much enjoy that.."

As we talked, we noticed a military helicopter land in front of us. The door opened and Charlotte hopped out of the helicopter. The Agents bowed to Charlotte.

"Charlotte." I said then hopped off the car.

Charlotte smiled at me then watched me walk to her then she gently held my face and looked at my left eye. "Are you okay, my darling..?~"

I nodded and blushed a bit as my chin was resting on her breasts. "You made it here pretty fast."

"I couldn't sit by anymore and let you all figure this impossible situation out. I had already planned to come out here since we are dealing with Barbara. The Big Ten aren't easy to deal with, but now that I'm here...They won't know what hit them." Charlotte said as she rubbed my hair. She looked at everyone else. "We will reach Pontchartrain Lake via my helicopter. We will be there within a few hours so make sure to get as much rest as possible. The battle against Barbara won't be an easy one."

I put on my mask then stepped backwards. "I don't need rest." I said then grunted softly, holding my stomach. Cyber Dragon did a number on me.

"Rest, my beloved. I can't having you down within the first five minutes of the fight..we will be needing your full power. After this is over, we can finally start living a bit normally again. Lord knows how much I just want to spend a single night with you..~" Charlotte seductively chuckled then caressed my cheek.

"No way! I already called dips!" Noel said puffing her cheeks.

"Ahh ahh~ I called first dibs way before you did. You're gonna have to stand in line." Charlotte chuckled softly. She looked at Rebecca then smiled. "And my beloved previous Ace. How fitting to see both my aces in the same location on a mission together..~ I missed you."

"I missed you too, and I was actually wondering if I could possibly have my job back as an Agent." Rebecca smiled.

"You know you're always allowed back at any time you want..~ Just be careful. With the Big Ten on the move, it's better to tread carefully." Charlotte said.

"Yes!~ Ryyyderr~ Looks like we can spend time together inside and outside of work~" Rebecca giggled.

I looked at Rebecca. I took off my mask then smiled at her. "You just can not get enough of me huh.."

"Nope..~" Rebecca giggled.

"Alright Ladies and My Ace, are you ready to go?" Charlotte asked.

"Yes!" We all said.

"Then let us fly out to Pontchartrain and kill Barbara." Charlotte said.
