Chloe Wise

I heard the honking of Charlotte's car and walked downstairs. Rhea also hard the honking and looked out the kitchen window. She noticed me going to the front door.

"Where are you going, Bubba?" Rhea asked.

"I'm going somewhere important. I'll be back later today." I smiled at her then left the house. I closed the door behind me and locked the door with my key then hurried over to Charlotte's car.

Charlotte watched me enter her car and smiled. "Alright, buckle up because we are gonna be driving for three hours"

"Three? Where does Chloe live?" I asked.

"Dallas, Texas." Charlotte said then put the car in drive. "I hope you used the bathroom before getting in because we aren't stopping."

"I'm good, I have a strong bladder." I said then nodded.

She nodded and drove off. I looked out of the window and she put on some music. I was a bit surprised at the song of choice that was on. It was Miss The Rage by Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti.

"You listen to music like this?" I asked and looked at her.

"Not often, but yeah I do listen to hip hop and rap sometimes. I listen to music that isn't very mainstream like chillstep or some female vocal dubstep from like 2015." Charlotte smiled.

"I used to listen to a lot of Chillstep back then. Honestly it would be nostalgic to listen to it again." I said.

She stopped the car at a red light and picked up her phone then put on an hour long chillstep mix. The first song came on and a wave of nostalgia hit us both. The light turned green and she began driving again.

We spent the entire three hours driving, listening to chillstep, and talking with each other more and I learned a lot about Charlotte's past along the way such as she used to work as a barista before having the idea of Paid Relationships and she went to Oceanview College at the age of 16 and graduated at age 20. She's a very intelligent woman and it shows.

We finally made it to Dallas and Charlotte began to drive to Chloe's house. I looked at the scenery and was amazed. I looked out the windshield and noticed we were nearing a one and a half story house. The house was a farm house styled home. Charlotte parked the car in the driveway then turned off the engine and we got out. I followed Charlotte to the front door of Chloe's house. The door opened and there she was, Chloe Wise.

Chloe Wise had long rose gold hair that stopped at her shoulders, her eyes were a light brown color and she wore a tight white t-shirt and white panties. She had a brown furred tabby cat with black stripes and green eyes on her shoulder and it meowed. Her dog barked and she looked back. "Shut it, Maple!"

I noticed her strong southern accent and nearly started to simp for this woman I just met.

She looked forward at us then smiled. "Charlotte, I wasn't expecting you to come over at all today. Come in come in. I see you brought a friend?"

"Yep, one of my beloved. His name is Ryder." Charlotte smiled then sniffed. "Mmm, whatcha cooking up?"

"I was just fixin' up some leftovers from yesterday. I made some spaghetti and toast." Chloe answered and closed the door behind us.

Maple began barking again from Chloe's room.

"Give me a second." Chloe smiled then walked to her bedroom door. She opened the door and let Maple out of the room. "Be nice now, ya hear?"

Maple was a fluffy golden retriever. She hurried over to me and began to sniff me. I watched her as she sniffed me and she looked up at me wagging her tail. I pet her and she closed her eyes, wagging her tail. I smiled and looked at Chloe.

"She's taken a shine for you already. Are you two hungry? We can eat together." Chloe smiled.

"I could go for a bite to eat." I said.

"Me too. We didn't stop once driving here, mainly because I knew you'd ask me if I wanted something to eat." Charlotte smiled at Chloe.

She nodded and lead us to the kitchen. We sat at the table and Chloe prepared our plates for us then sat down with us and we began to eat together. Maple walked into the kitchen and ate her dog food. We all made small talk with each other as we ate. After a few minutes, we finished eating.

"What's your cat's name?" I asked.

"Her name is Cinnamon. I actually named my pets after a conversation I had with an old friend from ten years ago." Chloe smiled.

"I see, oh yeah how do you and Charlotte know each other?" I asked.

"Before I moved to Destiny Island that's located by Hawaii, I used to go to Oceanview but dropped out after a year to become a stripper." Chloe smiled and looked at me.

"Really?" I smiled.

"Mhm, back then I was way different...but I still do my same tricks sometimes. Hey, for $20 we can go to the bathroom and I can give you a blowjob..~" Chloe smirked.

I looked at Chloe then at Charlotte. I looked back at Chloe. "Wait for real? For just 20 bucks?"

Chloe rose an eyebrow and leaned forward on the table. "You're down?~ I can really show you what my mouth does..~"

"I mean...if you're offering-"

"She's joking." Charlotte laughed and crossed her arms.

"At first I was, but he seemed down for it. Kinda turned me on a little because usually when I ask the question, people get shocked. He's a fearless one." Chloe smiled and sat back in her chair.

"So what are you two out here for in Dallas? Sightseeing? Joyride? Date?" Chloe asked and smiled.

"He actually wanted to come here to meet you. He heard how you went missing for ten years and strangely came back.." Charlotte said.

"Oh? You came all the way out here to see lil ol' me? How sweet." Chloe smiled.

"Do you mind telling me how it happened? I mean, the other women are still missing. Are they dead?" I asked.

Chloe looked at me with a clueless smile on her face. She looked at me then shook her head from side to side slowly. "They are very much alive."

I heard the tone of her voice change when the topic came up. I looked at her and looked at Charlotte then back at Chloe. "Why can't you speak about what happened? Were you taken by someone from the Dark Web?"

She shook her head no slowly. "I don't know what happened."

"Chloe." I started.

She looked at me then stood up. "You two want some ice cream? I've got an assort of flavors." She collected our plates and walked over to the sink.

Through those few exchanges I figured out that she didn't forget about it, she didn't want to talk about it at all. As much as I wanted to just give up, I had to say one final thing.

"You don't want to talk about it. You never forgot." I said.

Charlotte sat at the table silent then closed her eyes.

Chloe turned the water off and turned around to look at me. She had a more serious look on her face. She closed her eyes and huffed. "You know, you aren't the first to ask me this Ryder...but you are the first to figure out that I don't want to talk about it for obvious reasons, but I'll humor you. I've...seen things I was never supposed to see as a human. No matter how much cocaine I sniff or how many pills I pop, I can't forget everything that's happened for the last ten years I've been...missing. I've watched my own friend, a guy I used to date risk his life for a world that wasn't his own. I've watched him change before my eyes. I watched him get married to another woman and I was happy for him. At least I thought I was."

I listened to her and looked at her saddened eyes.

"Then I met someone who reminded me of him. He was so nice...so respectful then I saw him kill and get killed on TV, but he made me happy, but it wasn't love. I was only with him at the time so I could cope. The last ten years have been difficult and I told myself I would never speak upon it again. I'm glad to be back on Earth again. I could not live how I wanted in Es-" she stopped herself and turned around. "Long story short, I'm not cut out for that life. I'm happy to be a stripper again or at least someone who teaches it. Let me tell you something...never go to Destiny Island or Heavenly Bay. It's like selling your soul there. Wander off too far and you'll never make it back home."

"It must've taken a lot of courage to even talk about a small portion of that. There's more to the story, but I feel like Ryder gets it by now." Charlotte said then stood up.

"Yeah. I hope you soon get better and everything continues to go good for you." I said then stood up.

"Thanks." Chloe smiled a bit then sighed softly. "Now that's out of the way, how about we hang out for a bit? Chill in the living room and what not."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Charlotte smiled.

I agreed and we all went to the living room to chill out.

"So you're telling me Ryder here is now an agent for your business?" Chloe asked.

"Mhm. He's doing a good job on his training and is ready to move on to the second mentor~" Charlotte smiled.

"Man, I've always wanted to know what it would be like to be an Agent or to even work at Paid Relationships. I'm sure I would be top dog. I mean I'm looked up to by literally 80% of the women population in America!" Chloe giggled.

"No you stay out of the business, we can't have you go missing again." Charlotte said.

"I know, I know." Chloe smiled and looked at me. "Maple really took a liking to Ryder."

I was petting Maple's head as she laid beside me on the couch and had her head on my lap. "She's a really nice dog."

"Wait until you see her when she's grumpy. She scratches harder than Cinnamon here." Chloe giggled.

I chuckled and felt my phone buzzing. It was a constant buzzing and I took out my phone to see who was texting me. I looked at all of the notifications.

Penny: Jazlynn! She's missing!

Abby: Ryder! Jazlynn's gone!

Noel: Hey man, can you help us find Jazlynn?!

Eli: Jazlynn is missing bro!

An amber alert came on our phones about Jazlynn and all three of us looked at each other.

"Char-"

"No, I'm not sending you on this mission! I'll send someone whos-"

"Please! This is my friend we're talking about! I want to help her! So please, let me help find her." I said.

Charlotte looked at me and closed her eyes then stood up. "Fine, but I'm sending Alice with you. She's amazing at detective work and she has the fastest assassination record out of the four. Your first mission is dealing with the criminal organization. If things get too hard for you, it's okay to back out."

"I understand." I nodded and slowly got up, gently laying Maple's head on the couch then followed Charlotte out of Chloe's house.

Chloe walked to the front door with us and looked at us. "Be safe."

"You know it." Charlotte responded.

Charlotte and I got into her car and she started it up then drove off.
