Chapter Fourteen

Cecilia woke up from a long sleep she thought she had, it was still dark when she woke up. She felt a lot better now, but she heard two men talking. She thought she was hallucinating.

"Mrs. Hershold…" she heard an unfamiliar voice saying.

She rubbed her eyes and opened them to have a clear look at who was speaking to her.

"My name is Charles Joyce from the police service", he introduced himself

"Am I in trouble?" she asked earnestly

"We are yet to figure out what really happened to your husband, but Jude has been cooperative." Charles replied.

"He has a theory the organization he was once involved with had something to do with all this manhunt" Charles further explained.

"What do we do now; Jude didn't tell me about involving the Police. I didn't do anything to Michael." She replied almost teary again.

"We do have a plan to protect you and get my family back." Jude interjected gently

Cecilia sighed, and that's what she wanted to do, knowing she is in safe hands.
