PAIN

Adeline could feel the goosebumps rising on her skin, was it wrong for her to feel this way? She couldn't possibly understand why her body was so welcoming to his touch. She knew she was suppose to hate him, after everything he did to her, she shouldn't be this nice around him. 

He had done everything wrong to her but for some reason she didn't despise him, she welcomed his touch even now as his hands slowly caress her back. She wanted more of his touch, she wanted to feel him so close to her, she wanted all of that even though she was aware of the kind of man he was. 

He had been nice to her these past couple days, he was the one who rescued her from the ship. He was with her the entire time she was in the hospital, he fed her, he tried to make small conversations with her. He was doing everything so fucking right and it made her wonder if he really had changed.
