Hecate's Spiritual Wisdom
After the incident with Phobio and the BeastKeteer nothing happened for the rest of that day. Shuna and I went back home having dinner at nearby restaurant afterwards and talking over how hard the day had been. Honestly it wasn't even a date as the entire thing was a spur of the moment thing and was more casual than anything else. I did have a plan to go on a date with her soon though, relationships needed effort and dates were always important... Even after marriage, this was knowledge I had learnt from a friend in my past life.
Once we had our meal we went back home, had showers and snuggled up on the bed once again. Shuna instantly fell asleep, her sleepwear making me go a little crazy before I eventually went to 'sleep' as well. I was really meditating and drawing in the Magicules from my environment.
It was a slow four hours as every minute passed in concentration. Honestly the sensation of growing stronger was intoxicating and I started to gain an appreciation for the nightly meditations. All together, when I awoke from my meditation after the four hours I had gained around 100 stats in all categories.

'Okay, that's new... Maybe I should do that for my magic more... Let's see if I can merge several spells that are similar.'
After my new Unique Skill was fully merged I started to gain a clarity of thinking that hadn't been present before. My magic was now more understandable to me and more complex. It wasn't just my imagination piecing them together, it was more like I was unconsciously merging different elements of magicules into a pattern that could then be further amended by my Unique Skill. I could still do what i did before but I could also alter the spells I already have to merge with others. Fireball could merge with Polar claw so that it could become a Hydrogen Explosion... Engorgio Skullus and Diffindo could become a decapitating spell that explodes it after it is cut off. The potential was much greater now.
This is where i fully started to comprehend the effects of Unique Skills, they weren't just abilities, they were embodiments of my soul. Every time new Unique Skills were added something was being bound to my soul which granted me greater control and understanding of myself, my surroundings and those around me.
It was slightly unnerving but I had faced worse feelings. I decided not to test this stuff in bed and quickly slinked into the shadows, going to the bathroom and getting dressed once more. Shuna also seemed to wake up after a few minutes, her schedule somehow getting close to my own as she got closer to me.
"Mmmmm, Wife...?"
"Yes sweetie?"
"Why are you out of bed?"
I exited the bathroom in my currently dark purple and orange dress, the bottom fluttering around the bottom of the bathroom door. I gazed at Shuna, her sleepy face and slow blinks making me feel bad for waking her up.
"I only need to sleep for four hours... It's an elf thing. Go back to sleep, i won't leave without you." I walked up to her and gave her a soft kiss on her lips and then her forehead, tucking her into the blankets as she slowly drifted off back to sleep. As she slipped back into sleep she muttered some sleepy thoughts saying she loved me. I smiled widely and took a few minutes to just run my hand through her hair, the movements apparently appreciated as she tried to get closer to my hand.
Eventually pulling back my hand I vanished into shadow, slipping downstairs through the gap in the door and the shadows in the stairway. I then emerged on top of a kitchen table chair, seated, and began to toy with some small cantrips.
I first began with Eldritch Blast and Sacred flame, trying to merge them into a greater cantrip, maybe even a full blown spell. The Magicules were obvious to my eyes thanks to the Amulet and my new Unique Skill was allowing me to see the esoteric paths that connected different elements. Between each Magicule was a sparking bridge of smoky white energy that flickered with every subtle change in the magicules that were connected. These bridges were all different colours as the elemental combinations differed. This is where I took a single 'holy' element Magicule and a single 'Dark' element Magicule. The bridge instantly started to break down as the two opposing forces constantly fought. They needed a middle ground something to latch onto that was not one another.
'Hold on, does this mean I could customize the spell to have a water effect, fire effect or lightning effect? Maybe even other elements?'
This is where things became more experimental as I took a fire element and stuck it in the middle of the bridge, the white smoke energy latching onto it and creating a small ring around the fire Magicule. In an instant a beam of black, white and orange was formed. The heat was bubbling at the surface of the suspended beam, all of the power of the 'chemical' reaction between dark and light funnelling into the fire Magicule's aspect in the spell.
'Interesting... So i can enhance the power of the spell so long as I use opposing forces and create a balancing element to concentrate the energy from that reaction... Then wouldn't the fireball/Ice Claw combo explode into my face unless I used lightning or something else?' I wasn't game to try that combo yet so I moved onto another question I had.
I plucked at a water Magicule and a fire Magicule, bridging them. Unlike what Light and Dark created however this bridge formed a third elemental Magicule from a nearby Neutral Magicule. What I called a Vapour Magicule now floated in between the fire and water Magicules, a soft fog being created from my palm as i did this.
'Does it incorporate physics? So, if I added earth and fire I would get lava?'
I tried the next combination and went wide-eyed as a lava Magicule was formed on my palm, dripping between my fingers onto the floor. I instantly used prestidigitation to clean the lave and threw it out of the kitchen window into the backyard.
'Shit... The possibilities are ridiculous...!'
I heard movement from upstairs as Shuna was no doubt awake. I stood up and immediately cleaned all of the dirt from the dishes with my cantrips before quickly starting breakfast. Today I was going to make some sausages and eggs, she liked eggs in the morning and meat was just an extra for Shuna so I naturally focussed on nailing the eggs. I wanted to make up for me leaving her in the training area whilst i went to deal with Milim and Phobio, fuck head more like.
This was my apology and I hoped it would be good enough... If it wasn't I'd have to think of something better to give her or do for her. The Date was a good idea but it would take some time to get to the point where I am free enough.
'Maybe i'll have to do that...' I gulped and only barely stopped a blush from emerging onto my face. The idea of doing that as an apology was very erotic and stimulating.
'A-ah... I'll think on it... I have time...'
