Chapter 66 The sea, you are all water! (Rewritten)

For Lilah, today was an unimaginable day.

She didn't know who Stephen was, or what the future held, but she knew that her destiny had completely changed. She now understood that the man standing in front of her was her new master, and she knew that she had to please him in order to secure her own future and live a better life.

Gazing at Stephen lying on the bed, Lilah slowly began removing her clothes.

One piece at a time.

They fell to the ground.

Lilah walked toward the bed, her steps slow and deliberate, and then lay down on him and kissed him. Shy yet proactive, she blossomed like a budding flower, gradually revealing her charm. Seeing her pleasing him without guidance, Stephen became intrigued to see what more she was capable of.

Was Lilah smart, or was it simply a woman's intuition?

She would observe Stephen's reactions, analyze his likes, dislikes, and expectations...

And so she did, thoroughly, to the point where Stephen could only passively observe without actively participating.

Each flower possessed its own unique charm, and each wave delivered a different sensation.

Stephen was fully engaged in the experience.

For a long time, Stephen embraced Lilah, who lay in his arms, and with a smile, he said, "Perhaps you should change your name to Dahai?" (Dahai meaning sea or ocean)

"The sea? Why?" Lilah lazily looked at Stephen, her turquoise eyes filled with curiosity.

"Because, like the sea... you flow as smoothly as water!" Stephen chuckled.

Lilah's face blushed slightly, and she changed the subject. "What about Diana? Is she also your companion?"

"Even if she is, when I think of you, all I can think about are the moments we shared." Stephen smiled and adjusted their positions to embrace her as they drifted into a deep slumber.

No words were exchanged throughout the night.

The following morning, Stephen and Lilah emerged from the room. As soon as they stepped out, they saw Diana sitting in a chair, appearing as if she hadn't slept at all. Upon spotting Stephen, Diana rushed towards him. "I need to talk to you."

"What would you like to discuss?" Stephen asked casually.

"I... heard some noises last night," Diana hesitated.

Lilah's face instantly flushed. "I-I'll go and check if there's anything to eat." After speaking, Lilah hurriedly ran away.

Stephen shrugged. "Just say what you want to say. It seems the soundproofing in our quarters isn't the best."

"No," Diana frowned and shook her head. "I'm not referring to you. I heard Athena's voice."

"You're Wonder Woman, not a Saint Seiya."

"What saint?" Diana was taken aback. "I truly heard Athena's voice. She told me that the disaster that destroyed the gods has arisen and asked me to go to Ares."

"And you didn't hear the voice?"

Considering Stephen also possessed supernatural abilities, Diana asked this question.

Stephen pondered it seriously and shook his head. "Maybe the signal was weak?"

Diana snorted in dissatisfaction. "I believe the disaster Athena spoke of refers to Ares, and I want to go to him."

"Alright, once I study and understand how to travel through time, I'll take you to Ares." Stephen didn't pay much attention to the matter. After all, as long as it was exciting and interesting, it would be just another wave.

He sat in the driver's seat, studying each of them. After several attempts, he finally discovered the time-traveling function in the operating system.

"Haha, I found it!"

"In 1917, let's set off, Disciple!"

Stephen exclaimed with excitement, disregarding Diana and Lilah stumbling around as the Disciple leapt through time.

The sky illuminated, and the Disciple vanished.

In 1917.

The First World War was nearing its end, and the Allied Powers and the Axis Powers were negotiating and signing an armistice agreement.

In a secluded area.

The dim sky suddenly brightened, and the Disciple gently landed in a nearby clearing.

Surrounded by endless wilderness, the Disciple entered invisible mode.

"We have arrived!" Stephen turned around and saw Diana gripping the wall, while Lilah lay on the ground, feeling disoriented and unable to see clearly.

"These are side effects of time travel. Don't worry, you'll adapt to it after a few more trips," Stephen casually reassured Lilah.

"Time travel?" Lilah was shocked.

"Where is Ares?" Diana asked Stephen.

Stephen chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll take you to Ares later."

The side effects of time travel didn't last long for Lilah, and two hours later, Stephen led Diana and Lilah into the city.

The streets were bustling with heavy traffic and throngs of people.

For Diana and Lilah, everything around them was fresh and new.

People in Redemption Town seldom stayed for long periods, so it was Diana's first time in the human world. And as for Lilah? Not long ago, she was still in 1871, so being 46 years later left her at a loss for words to describe her feelings.

The trio attracted a lot of attention as they made their way through the crowd, and suddenly, Diana stopped and clutched her head, groaning.

"Are the side effects kicking in?" Stephen was taken aback and jokingly asked.

"It's Athena," Diana whispered.

She heard Athena's voice once again.

This time, the voice seemed clearer than before, as if it was directly transmitting into her mind. Diana attempted to communicate, but to no avail. She could only listen repeatedly to Athena's voice, which echoed the same sentence in her mind.

"The disaster that destroyed the gods has arisen. Go to Ares."

"Is she alright?" Lilah looked at Diana with concern and quietly asked Stephen.

"Don't worry, she can't die here." Stephen smiled and suddenly said, "I'm going to buy some oranges. Just wait here and don't wander off."

"Huh? Ah!"

Lilah watched him walk away and approach Diana, feeling nervous as she anxiously waited for Stephen's return.

Gradually, Athena's voice faded from her mind, and Diana asked Lilah, "Where did he go?"

"He said he's buying some oranges and told us to wait here without moving around."

Diana nodded, her brow furrowed.

After approximately twenty minutes, Stephen Lang returned from a distance.

"These are oranges?"

Upon seeing Stephen holding two felted black coats, Diana and Lilah were a little confused. Although they didn't know what oranges were, they knew they weren't made of fabric.

Stephen handed each of them a coat and instructed them to put them on. With a smile, he said, "I just discovered something interesting."

"What's interesting?" Diana remained silent, allowing Lilah to take on the role of questioning.

"I saw Wonder Woman!"
