Myrtle paused at that moment and felt a little surprised. She then turned to the next page but just then the door to her room opened. It was knocked on previously but she was so immersed in reading the journal that she didn't hear the sound of the knocking on the door. She looked up at the door and saw Syrus walking into the room. She stiffened up and the journal in her hand remained open. 

"Why are you here?" She asked defensively. 

Syrus who had heard her say that word for who knows how many times didn't react much and walked up to the wardrobe. Myrtle sprang up from the bed and approached him hurriedly and stood in front of the wardrobe's door with a defensive stance.
