Chapter One

My name is Great Simon,I was born and brought up by my loving parents in Jos Nigeria. I was born into an average family,we weren't very rich but we were never poor. I lived a very comfortable life getting everything I needed whenever I asked. I have three siblings one older sister and two younger brothers. My early years were interesting because I didn't have to worry before getting things. I lived a very fun and careless life,I was athletic and was loved by everyone and I make friends very easily but I didn't have confidence in my looks because I felt I wasn't pretty enough and it became my insecurity. When the time came for me to go to secondary school,I cried not because I was scared but because I was worried I wouldn't have friends anymore and no one will love me the way I am loved at home because it was a boarding school. My parents,siblings and friends consoled me saying I'll get same amount of love and friends since i make friends easily but I still had doubts. After all the preparation for secondary school was done, resumption came quickly than I expected. On that day I told myself I can do this,I just have to smile and Introduce myself and let my personality do the rest so I thought,but it wasn't that way.
