[Yuito's POV]
An invisible attack?
No, it was much more than that. His attacks did not have sound, did not have origin nor did they have any intent behind them.
It was something new, something I had never experienced before. I should be afraid, I should be nervous, after all, man fears the unknown.
Yet I couldn't stop the smile stretching on my face and occupying the lower part of my face as I let go of his feet. The unknown excites me.
I came into my debut fight expecting everything but I got nothing but disappointment. And I came into this match expecting nothing but I got everything I ever wanted.
I slowly got up to my feet as Wonderboy backed away to give me space. I cracked my neck which was displaced after getting a direct hit to my chin.
My muscles popped out, blood filled up my muscle fibers and I felt my body being pumped up.
Finally, this was what I expected from the UFC. This was a worthy opponent.
We had a stare down at the middle of the octagon and we saw it in each other's eyes, that we both recognized each other as a worthy opponent.
It was exactly 3 minutes into the match when we ran towards each other to initiate the start of the real fight of the night.

[Bullet Time : Master]
I blasted bullet time to full power as I felt my heart beat more than 200 times in a single second. Adrenaline flowed like a flood in my system and I felt my blood coursing through my veins with incredible speed.
My bullet time was enhanced by my Sun Breathing as I inhale huge amounts of oxygen, enough to make my chest bloat.
[Sun Breathing : Master]
Oxygen was carried by the blood pumped by Bullet Time throughout my body at an incredible speed, supplying energy to every fiber of my being in an instant.
With all these enhancements and my superhuman stats, I had no doubt in my mind that I would be unrivaled when it came to speed and power.
My eyes focused on my opponent, with all the enhancement I had - my senses were heightened to the limit, my perception was so high that time was moving in slow motion and my reflex was almost instantaneous.
I observed him, determined to see the invisible attacks that would come at me, the same attacks that went under my radar before.
It took me many small steps to get close to him but with his wide stance, he only took a single step to cover the same distance I did.
I watched with rapt attention as he gathered momentum with that single step. I followed every inch of his movement and I saw his arm tensed and cocking back slightly for a punch.
Seeing that, I planted a single foot on the canvas and threw a powerful roundhouse kick aimed at the side of his head which wouldn't be protected if he punched me.
My kick was not as fast as I hoped it would be as I was putting a lot of strength behind it, but it was still extremely quick. It was invisible to the naked eye, nothing but a blur the human brain couldn't process.
But as I was kicking him, I never saw the punch that come to me. I felt something wrong in the air and I had a strange urge to put my hand up to block an incoming strike aimed at my head.
My eyes moved around and I noticed that his form was still the same, his posture and his position were standing still, like he had never thrown an attack. But when I looked down, I noticed that one of his legs was missing.
I watched with confused eyes as I saw a bubbled form in the place where his leg should be. The air around it shimmered and I realized that it was vibration. It was sound.
Something had broken the sound barrier.

!!!
.
.
*PAAAKAHHH!!!*
I felt the weight of a mountain press against my hand which I was holding in front of my face. I had just blocked a kick by pure luck, due to the feeling I had that I should protect my head.
My bones creaked and I was left to be amazed at the power behind the kick. I was sure this was enough to break a house pillar with ease.
After I had blocked the kick, I noticed Wonderboys's body shifting unnaturally and forcefully in an action that launched a kick.
I was left in awe and disbelief.
Your movements come first before an attack, everyone knows that. That was not even a matter of skill, it was logic.
Cocking back your limbs, planting your feet on the ground, or maybe even looking at the place you are trying to hit. Your body was the one to throw the attack.
But in this case, the attack comes first.
It was exactly as crazy as it sounds. It should be impossible.
Your body adjusts, and then it launches an attack. But what I was seeing was an attack, then the body adjusted way after the attack came.
My own kick sailed past his face as he was leaning back a bit with his kick, just enough for mine to pass him, unharmed.
Then in that same moment, it happened again.
Maybe I had closed my eyes, maybe I blinked, or maybe I was focusing too much on his eyes which were looking at me with clear focus and awareness, as if sharing the same world which was moving in slow motion.
Whatever happened, all I know is that my senses failed me again.
*POWW!!*
The sound of his first kick reached me as his second landed on my solar plexus. It was a side kick so unimaginably powerful that it took me off the canvas and sent me flying away from him.
The kick took the breath out of me as my sun breathing faltered for a split second. I rolled on the canvas and stood up without any break.
I caught my breath and looked at my opponent. I threw out my plan of trying to see his attacks which always slipped past my awareness and fought him on pure instincts.
I realized in that split second that he was too good for me to be able to notice attacks. Even when I was looking at him, his attacks slipped past my sight.
Although the human eye could see a lot, it can only focus on one thing and he was so good that he was able to distract my focus and sneak in attacks from my blind spot. The fact that his kicks were so goddamn quick did not help.
He did not simply attack my blind spot but also created them.
So in the end, I relied on what worked once. My animal instincts.
I blitz towards my opponent and I did not even try to see the ghost attacks and simply acted on how my gut told me to act.
[Taekwondo : Grandmaster]
I spun around and threw a backkick, putting all of my strength behind it and I realized Wonderboy had done the same when our feet met in a collision that sent out shockwaves.
*BOOM!!*
'So that's how it is.' I thought to myself when I saw that it worked. I was able to fight against his invisible attacks when I folowed my gut and instinct.
Scientists have observed that many of the animals in the wild were able to tell an incoming disaster way before it happened.
This includes earthquakes, volcanos, storms, and even tsunamis. It was like they had an inbuilt danger sense that told them when and where a disaster would happen even when said disaster was invisible, did not make a sound nor had any intention.
Some scientists believe that the animals can tell this through the vibrations, sounds, or even smells that came before the disasters. But the answer left much to be desired and was only more of an accepted theory than a fact. The answer was unknown.
In a similar fashion, when I used animal instincts, I was able to tell when an attack was coming. But I was barely able to do it.
'I need to improve.'
[Title : The Prodigy]
Wonderboy moved swiftly and hooked my leg, redirecting my leg to hit the ground. I was stronger than him so he redirected the force of my kick to the ground.
Then he leaped in the air, and threw a spinning kick at me. His movements were fluid and executed to perfection.
I was able to see his attack this time since he was not trying to use his invisible attacks, he though I wouldn't be able to avoid this kick anyways.
I smiled, quickly ducking the kick in s how of superhuman dexterity. Then I threw a punch at his chest, sending him flying away easily since he was already in the air.
The cheers of the audience came to my ears in that short respite as Wonderboy did a kip up and quickly got back to his feet. But from his serious face, I knew I did some damage and he was wary of my strength.
He returned to his wide karate stance and appeared in front of me in a single step. He was fast, it was amazing how quickly he was able to cover the distance between us.
But what's even more amazing is the kicks that landed on my body. I retreated immediately and tried to adapt to those invisible attacks.
*FWOOSH!!*
*POW!!*
*BAAAM!!*
He was cutting me down. his onslaught of attacks were never-ending. I did not even have time to fight back as he never stopped attacking me.
Luckily, I had my crazy endurance and Wonderboy relied more on speed rather than power. So I was not knocked down.
He was able to attack me constantly because he only aimed at my body and never gave me a high kick aimed at my head. Ironically, I wished he kicked me in the head as that would give me an opening to attack, high kicks require lots of time to pull back.
That was one of his weakness I noted, his kicks were beyond the speed of sound but the speed of retracting his kicks was ordinary. When he pulled back his kicks, that's when he was vulnerable.
But to make up for that weakness, he spins a lot and was always in motion while at the same time, only aiming at my body. By doing this and attacking my body, I was always pushed back slightly which gave him time to pull back his kicks and it was also shorter.
But his moment soon came to an end as I heard a notification ring in my head and I suddenly felt like I could predict where his kicks would come a lot better.
I put my hands out and caught a kick that was aimed at my liver. I grabbed it and looked at him in the eye. I could see my smile reflected in his eyes, I looked crazy.
*Ting!!*
[Animal Instincts : Advanced- Master]
..
..
"Gotcha." I said and decide to return the favor of getting smahed.
[Kudo : Grandmaster]
I tug his leg and easily lifted his body in the air, I twisted his leg and slammed him on the canvas. Hulk Style.
He crashed on his back and his eyes widen. I was not done as I put his leg on my shoulder and put pressure on his knees.
"AAAHHHHHH!!" He screamed in both pain and panic and kicked me with his other free leg on my face which hit me with a bone rining sound.
I smiled as his feet stopped at my cheek. I had a wide smile as I just ate his kick which was thrown in a short distance, and in panic. It was not even half the power of his normal kick.
I sat on the ground and he put up a decent struggle but he could do nothing in my grasps. I was like a crocodile who got his prey.
We rolled around on the canvas but I held on. We were still in the same position, he was trapped.
This was how his opponents had beaten him before. Tank his kicks a few times and grab him before submitting him.
Thought it should be noted that this tatic won't work in the street where Wonderboy could indefinitely retreat. But the octagon was a limited space and it had walls.
As much as he was the best striker in the world, he was a shitty grappler.
But I did not finish him or submit him. After letting him struggle on the ground for a while, in a show that I could end this match whenever I wan, I let him go.
I would not be satisfied with simply submitting him like this. I wanted to beat him at his own game and outstrike him.
I also wanted to improve and push myself more than simply winning like this. Which is why I let him go.
Then few seconds after I let him go, and the bell rang, indicating the end of the first round.
*CHEERS!!!!*
