Earning trust.

"Senior sister Shi, What we have here is a pact of trust," Linghua said. "Most other clan members will remain in the main clan grounds for the majority of the time when the doors will remain closed so that they can ask for any resources they need when they need them"

"But we chose to come all the way here, to our own private cultivation grounds because we are confident in the resources and methods at our disposal." Lingyun said, "And most of all, what happens now will remain private to us."

Lingshi looked at both of them. They were busy unloading the various things they had gathered in preparation for this. Among them were furniture, food and other things they would need for the foreseeable future.

It seemed to her that they had planned all this extensively and were just waiting for the opportunity.

"How do you know you can trust me? If I chose to leave here right now there is not much you can do to stop me," she said matter of factly.

"True," Lingyun said nodding, "but there are no other cultivation techniques suitable for you except the Asura God King technique, and no one but us can guarantee quick results."

She scoffed and paced a little inside the cavern. Lingyun was setting up some glowing lights so that it was no longer as dark as it had been. The pale blue light sufficed the space. Lingyun looked even more mysterious contracted by the light and dark in the cavern.

"How?" she asked eventually.

"Three months, " Lingyun said raising three fingers," In that time you will have the same strength you have now but in the Asura Cultivation system, If not stronger." His slightly golden eyes bore right into her and she had the feeling that he saw with more than just his eyes.

"Brother you should do a better job of easing her worries. She is still sceptical." Linghua said."Your cultivation won't dissipate, it will just be in stasis."

"It might be better to show you rather than explain," he said. He waved his hand and a normal spirit stone glowing green appeared in his hand. He also took out three formation flags and began making some inscriptions on the smooth rock. Lingshi was shocked that someone who had just begun cultivating could be so skilled in array techniques.

Once he was done he pulled a glowing blue rock out of his spatial ring and placed it in the centre and the entire thing lit up blue. He placed the other normal spirit stone at the edge. He made a sign with his fingers and Strong Yin essence started to fill the formation. It remained contained within it non-leaking out. He nodded to Linghua who walked near the normal spirit stone and began to absorb the Yuan Qi within it.

"Now, imagine this is you," he said pointing at the Blue Yin Essense stone, " You are sitting inside this formation releasing your to dissipate it. " The normal spirit stone began to fade as all the Yuan Qi within it was fully exhausted. More Yin essence leaked from the Blue Essense stone that the entire array had a bluish fog around it.

When the fog was very dense he made a hand sign and the inscriptions lit up brighter and the now faded spirit stone began to glow blue. It was slight in the beginning but it intensified after some time.

"We shall make it so that all the Yuan Qi you release will be contained and stored in a similar manner so that you can utilise it later on," he said with his hands at his sides and a reassuring smile on his face. He looked at Linghua who nodded approval.

"Seriously, who are you? Who makes such a complex array formation just to show an example?" was the first thing she asked.

"Complex? This is a simple spirit-gathering array," he said a little surprised. Lingyun had only seen the arrays that Xiaoya had shown him which were more complex than those normal people of the Ling clan had seen. As such he was a little surprised that this simple formation was considered complex.

"I'll choose to trust you," she said, "If I am crippled or something does wrong I will sacrifice my very soul to curse you."

She might have said that for the hell of it but to someone like him who knew of would cultivation, the possibility of a soul curse was something he didn't take very lightly.

Since everything had been settled Lingyun and Linghua started drawing all the necessary array of inscriptions. Of course, Linghua was following his instructions but he was using this as an opportunity to learn them for himself.

There were going to be a few formations. One was a gathering and containment formation for Lingshi to be able to dissipate her cultivation easily. It would be modified later once the first phase was done. The second was Linghua's Spirit gathering formation powered by normal Spirit stones and Yin Essense Stones and the Third was Lingyun's Spirit gathering formation which would be powered by Yang Essense stones.

There were overlapping formations over all three which could gather yuan qi from the world to refine it and push it into their respective formations. There was also one to conceal and contain all the energy so that no outsider could detect them and within each formation was also an isolation technique that could ensure maximum privacy as they cultivated.

By the end of it, all only the small living space didn't have an array of inscription

Lingshi looked at them as they worked and while she had believed that she was wealthy she was surprised when she saw the types of treasures that these two were using. She had only been given a few Yin and Yang essence stones but these two had them in droves that at some point she was no longer shocked. She also now believed it when Lingyun had said that the earlier one was not complex. They moved about the room planting flags and making inscriptions that became too complex to try and understand.

"Linghua, You can begin." he said, "I'll take it from here."

Linghua nodded and sat down in his designated space. All the stones lit up when he began cultivating. It looked to her that he was a strength-based technique based on how swollen he suddenly became. There were waves of heat coming from him that she could see but because of the level of containment, she couldn't feel his presence at all.

"I will guide you through the first phase of this technique," he said. Technically Xiaoya would be the one to do so but Lingshi would only hear Lingyun's Instructions.

There are two options available. The first option would be a partial dissipation where she could push all of her qi into her core and only dissipate it in the second phase which would be less painful but slower or dissipate her qi and start strengthening her body immediately which would be more painful but faster.
