Chapter 73

Minutes after, I gave her a smile.  "Haven't read the letter I gave earlier?" I asked her and she shook her head immediately. I knew it.

"Nakalimutan ko," she replied, showing me a peace sign. "I'll go get it," she stood up, but I let her sits again.

"Ako nang magsasabi anong nakasulat don," I uttered and she just nodded. "Why are you so gorgeous—"

She cut my words, "pinagloloko mo ba'ko?" tanong niya at agad akong napailing.

While we're staring straight at each other's eyes, I continued speaking, "why are you so cute? Why are you so lovely? Why are you so admirable? Why are you so patience? Why are you so kind? Why am I so blessed having you?" her brows are now knitted as she's waiting for my next words, "why are we not in a relationship when..." I paused and her expression is like telling me to continue it now, so cute, "we both love each other?" I no longer can describe what her expression is and what her eyes are trying to say.

"A-Ano?" she really stammered. I lightly pinch her nose and her brow arched up. "Ulitin mo nga," she sounded like she's giving me a command.

I chuckled, then I held her hand and said, "I love you."  Her tears fell down and I wiped it too soon. "I don't know how it happened. It just suddenly hit me, no signs, I just love you, all of a sudden," I smiled and hugged her, but she let go immediately. "Why?" I asked her with confusion.

"Sky," she just uttered my name. I know she has something to say, but she can't tell it directly.

"Don't doubt my feelings, Hillary," I said. Alam kong 'yan ang gusto niyang sabihin kaya inunahan ko na siya. "Kasi ako I never doubt my own feelings. Mahal kita and if you want me to shout it out to the world for you to believe me, I'll do it now," I added.

"Sige nga, let me taste your luscious lips, Mr. Sky Abellera if you really lo—"

I kiss her with no hesitation at all. This may be my second kiss on the lips, but it still feels like my first kiss. I am now giving her my most gentle kiss with a heart.

Her eyes glistened as I looked at her right after letting go from that kiss. "Will you believe me now? Or, should I give you another one?" I showed her my playful smile, but she just chinned-up! Hinahamon ako, ha. And, so I did! I give her another kiss.

She let go after four seconds! "Enough," she uttered and I just smiled. "I just want you to do it kasi sabi nila you can know if someone loves you through a kiss and..." she paused and smiles for a second, "...tama nga sila. I felt how much you truly love me, Sky," her tears are now on the verge of falling again.

"I really am, Hillary," I replied. "You don't how blessed I am having you in my life. I love you so much," I added, smiling so wide. Ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang gan'to kasaya kapag nagsasabi ako ng katotohanan. It feels so good!

Our staring challenge was ended when she slapped her arm, "may lamok," she giggled afterward.

"Let's go inside," I stood up, then I offer her my hand. She's smiling so wide when she gets it. We're holding each other's hand as we went inside. "You take a rest now," sabi ko nang nasa tapat na kami ng room niya.

She let go of my hand before she finally went inside her room. I was about to go to my room, smiling like an idiot, but Hillary suddenly called me. "Yes," she uttered and went back inside.

Yes? Wait—she means, kami na?

Kinatok ko agad 'yong pinto, pero hindi niya binuksan. "Hillary, I just want to clarify it," sabi ko habang patuloy na kinakatok 'yong pinto.

"Hindi ka naman bobo, Sky, kaya alam kong gets mo na 'yon!" aniya habang andoon pa rin siya sa loob.

"I don't get it," I lied. I want to hear it again. I keep on knocking the door and at last, she opened it. "Let me hear it once more," I uttered, she smiled as she shook her head. "Please?" I begged and she just chuckled.

She touched my face and sweetly said, "yes, Sky. I am now giving you my yes. Tayo na."

I smiled again like an idiot, then I pulled her closer and embrace her like there's no end at all! I really am so certain, I love her, I love her, and I love her so much!

"I love you, Hillary, I really do," I whispered out of myself.

"I love you, too, Sky, but..." she let go from the hug and stares at me, "...why are you in tears?" she asked with confusion.

"I am just so happy and I didn't know I am weeping already," I replied and wiped it too soon. Sobrang saya ko pala talaga, 'yong tipong walang mapaglagyan ang kasiyahang nararamdaman ko. Kung matagal ko lang sigurong nalaman na mahal ko siya baka matagal ko na ring nararamdaman ang ganito kasayang pakiramdam. A feeling that no one can ever give, but only her, Hillary Aeiou Gomez.

She smiled and I was a bit surprised when she gave me a smack, then she said afterward, "good night, Sky. I love you again," then she gave me another sweet smile.

This time, I am the one who kiss her for a second, "good night. I love you, too, Hillary, and I'll never get tired of telling you that," I replied and she nodded, smiling so wide. I gestured her to close the door now and she followed me immediately.
