"So you think they're up to something?"
"I don't just think, I know they're up to something. But what I don't get is how they would have provoked her to the point of fainting." Her mother was usually a strong woman and it wasn't easy to get her worked up unless it was something extremely outrageous.
"I see. But don't think too much. I'm sure she'll be fine," Jace consoled as he gave a reassuring squeeze to Grace's hand that was held in one of his.
"Yeah, she will," Grace nodded absentmindedly.
Grace sat stiffly in the passenger seat, her gaze fixed on the road ahead but not really seeing it.
Her mind was busy planning on how to get back at those two who would never let her have a moment of peace. What were they after this time?
