Don’t Underestimate Yourself
In order to avoid bumping into Jace the following morning, Grace woke up very early to prepare breakfast long before everybody was up. Even Mrs Bert did not meet her in the kitchen by the time she was done.
She hurried back to her room and by the time someone was sent to ask her to join the father and son duo for breakfast, she had left the villa and was on her way to see her friend.
Luckily when she had called her last night after the episode with her boss, Wendy had informed her that her brother Bill, had agreed to spend the night at the hospital with their mother giving Wendy the opportunity to go home to rest.
So by 8:00 am that morning Grace was already standing by Wendy's door.
She raise her hand and tapped the door lightly in order not to disturb the other neighbors.
After a few moments, the door creaked open, revealing Wendy's disheveled form, her hair tousled and her eyes still heavy with sleep.
