"So that's how I was born, alongside my twin brother" Kai spoke in the dimly lit room.
Lucifer looked at the man silently trying to digest the information. It turned out the man was more complicated than he thought, infact, the world was and the ball was passed to his court, forcing him to a decision.
He could either side with a perfect living counter to the heaven or become their enemy, and both seemed equally dangerous, he was leaning to the former though due to one point Kai made in his story.

"How... What do I need to do?" Celine asked. She was willing to do anything as long as her babies survived, even sacrifice her life.
"Why? You trust me to look for a solution?" The dragon replied. It did have a solution. It was not an easy one but it was the fastest to the situation the royal found herself in. It had to be sure though, that she was willing to risk it all before proceeding with what it had in mind.
"Well... You seem to be really knowledgeable... I mean, you know my name and Hades too..." Celine trailed off. She saw the dragon eyes change color from that deep azure blue to aquamarine, then to green, and lastly a transparent ball shape glass orb.
She was surprised, but there was still more to come when the dragon's body started revealing itself. It's invisibility was vanishing as it revealed the beautiful scales the dragon was clothed in. They were like an ever changing myriad of colours that breathed together in harmony, transiting each other in different rainbows that brought comfort to the eyes.
As the dragon revealed itself, it's eyes became almost invisible, both the iris, pupil, and whatever the dragon had for eyes, then it spoke, a proud smirk unhidden in it's voice. It chuckled lightly.
"I am illuminous, you are Celine. I know every royal that has walked the surface of the earth, every powerful being, every abnormal being, every fetus, every god's counter... Hades, dragons... I know of all, for 'Gaia' is the personification of earth; soil, water, greens, and whatever it holds and I am the perfect counter for all, I know of all cause' I am Illuminous"
An ancient melodious voice resounded in Celine's mind when the dragon spoke, she almost failed to register what it was saying due to the speechlessness she was in when she saw the dragon's features, but the Aura it was emitting subdued those thoughts as her body felt strong reverence for the creature.
And an even more outstanding thing happened when the dragon unfolded it's massive wings, spread it's regal limbs and walked forward till it was standing just about to hit her.
"I can save your son's and protect them from the lethal part of the gods rage... At least till they become strong enough to defend themselves but it comes with a price, a very high one."
Celine looked at the humongous dragon that had shiny colorful scales, and it's wings and body that were defined with muscles that covered a large area. It's tail seemed unending as it started from the alters and wrapped itself all around the temple. Then it's face that had four curling horns made of pure white jade...or diamond and glanced at her protruding belly.
"Even if it takes my life, you have to help them" the woman said determined.
The dragon nodded. It was happy with the courage Celine showed, now it confirmed that Hades would have not loved just any woman. It had high hopes for the babies since their parents were such fearless people and hoped they would be able to finish this unending war between the gods and mortals.
Illuminous proceeded with the royal's wish and raised up one of it's draconic claws that pulsed in a myriad of colours, placed it just above her head and said.
"Celine, daughter of Rex, mother of the children of Hades, will be bestowed a favor by one of the ancients, Illuminous, to ensure the survival of the sons she bare"
It then looked at Celine and told her to open her mouth in which she did absentmindedly.
A drop of blood.
A drop of dark red of blood that absorbed all light descended from the almost invisible gaps in the scales of the dragon's palm and landed on her tongue. It rolled smoothly down her throat, to her stomach and them to her umbilical cord. It touched her babies and colored her whole womb red, a burning sensation was felt in her belly.
"In return, the children will be an ally to whoever is an enemy of the gods, and forever a helper to the dragon species. They will be the only mortals on this earth to raise their head up high when others bow, they will have power but bear it's harsh consequences, forever bound by their destinies with the only sign of freedom being the end of the gods reign." the dragon continued it's oath.
Celine nodded and then felt a tight tug on her stomach. Her babies were about to be born, but they underwent many changes before that, she could feel it vaguely within her. Soon she became fully dilated and released an ear piercing scream, with the remaining strand of sanity remaining she turned to the dragon and spoke in a pained whisper.
"Can... Can you take care of my babies if I don't make it through the delivery, or leave them in the care of good people, tell them their names are Kaius and Kai."
She coughed and screamed even louder, the pain was unbearable. But she still held and gave her last words to the dragon.
"If I die, can you help me find Hades, tell my sons to do the same..." And she passed away... Leaving only the sounds of two babies crying and the pained roar of a dragon.
Kaius and Kai were born.
