Don’t Die Rex!

Orion and Sabrina both arrived in the square of the city area. As they arrived, they seen all the students in their class besides Rex and Yui, standing there discussing about who knows what.

Orion and Sabrina greeted them with a wave.

"Everyones meeting here? Why didn't you call?" Sabrina said with a smirk along with her hand on her hip.

"Cause I didn't want to alert anyone, speaking of which, this is why we're meeting…" Harrison said.

Harrison changed his speech to everyone in the area.

"Have you guys ever noticed, that we haven't been seeing the support course students anywhere?" Harrison said crossing his arms after adjusting his glasses.

The other seven students are stumped, they realized that when they were journeying through the city they didn't encounter anything at all.

"You know I'm not much of a thinker but I noticed it too! Me and Micheal were traveling over yonder and we didn't see jack squat!" Jake said talking fast.

"I can give testimony, we haven't seen anyone for a long while, it certainly is a strange predicament…" M1cheal said through his speaker.

"I agree, you think we ain't looking hard enough?" Owen asked with a eyebrow raised.

"Very unlikely, I'm assuming we've been all over the area correct?" Harrison questioned the group.

"No, Not the fire area" Angela said finally saying her first words to the class.

"Oh yeah come to think of it, We haven't been there too huh Orion?" Sabrina said to him.

Orion nodded thinking of the whereabouts of Rex and Yui.

"Then it's settled then?" M1cheal asked to Harrison.

Harrison put his head down.

"I suppose so, that might explain the mystery of our missing acquaintances" Harrison said.

Before they could pack up and leave Yui came running to the group, spouting incoherent nonsense as she tried to catch her breath.

The entire class looked at her with concern.

Sabrina was the first to walk up to the winded girl.

"Come on catch your breath, what happened?" Sabrina said rubbing her back.

Yui looked up and started tearing up.

"Guys we have to go to the forest area! I think Rex is in trouble!" Yui yelled.

The class was shocked.

"So what was it? Was it the other class folk?" Jake said.

"I don't know… he said it was his gut or something, but it's been far too long!" Yui said.

Harrison expecting the worst gets his powers ready.

"There's not much time, we have to go now-" Before Harrison could finish his sentence, he heard a big boom in the top of a skyscraper, that one boom turned into multiple, at the top of the building stood big muscular figures that looked all too familiar to Orion.

It was the same Green Monster that Orion fought on that fateful day, except it wasn't just the one, but a entire army.

They were surrounded, with no way to escape, the only way to leave alive was to fight with everything they had.

"Damn it all!" Harrison said conjuring fire.

"T-T-Those aren't the other students are they?" Jake said shaking.

"Negative." M1cheal said bluntly.

Yui gets behind Sabrina as Sabrina creates shadows under her feet.

"Actual villains, this could be bad…" Sabrina thought.

Harrison glared at Orion.

"We can handle this on our own! Orion! You're the only one that can get out of here unscathed with your gravity, you need to save Rex, he isn't safe!" Harrison yelled.

Orion nodded and created a plotform, flying away.

"Rex, with your new mastery on your powers, there's absolutely no way you're struggling with these green monsters, if you're taking this long, what your fighting is far more sinister…" Orion thought going to save his friend.

Meanwhile in the Fire Area's building, Rex has his hand covered in water.

Rex is still shaking like a leaf and starts to look around the area.

"Chairs, Desk, nothing useful to use, and there's no way I can beat this guy close up…" Rex thought to himself.

"Damnit, do I actually have no chance of winning!?" He thought.

Rex gulps and starts actually talking to the villain.

"Why the hell is someone like you even here?" Rex said.

"Why are you even infiltrating the school!?" Rex yelled.

The Faceless Man starts grinning ear to ear.

"My goal is beyond your feeble mind child" He said.

He rips his shirt sleeves off revealing his bulging muscles that are growing exponentially.

"Not gonna answer my question? How cliche!" Rex says dashing with the water on his feet.

Rex quickly appears infront in the man and using the water coated in his right hand, he propels his fist into the mans chest with a burst of water.

Rex then used a burst of water to spin his body and by doing that, he hit The Man with a spinning kick.

Rex smiled in mid air but realized The Man didn't budge at all.

The Man grabs Rex's leg and frowns.

"This is exactly what I mean, humans are so weak, so very weak, when I'm done with this world, nobody like you will exist, no more than weak people, defenseless people, only a utopia!" The Man yelled.

"You're crazy!" Rex yelled.

Before Rex could even move, a fist came flying towards him, Rex barely blocked it as the wind was knocked out of him and got sent flying straight into a wall.

"Listen Child, the name I choose to adopt is The Transmutor! Remember it well!" The Transmutor said with a smile.

Rex got back on his feet and wiped his bleeding forehead.

"So… you are one of those…" Rex said.

The Transmutor looked at Rex with confusion.

"You're one of those types who think what their doing has some sort of special purpose despite the fact that in the end you're doing fucked up shit! Am I right or no?" Rex asked.

Rex coated both of his hands in water.

"Don't answer that, it doesn't matter, all that matters to me, is kicking your ass before you hurt someone else!" Rex yelled.

The Transmutor smiled.

"You'll die trying!" The Transmutor said putting his hand on the ground.

Using his power, he morphed the ground they were standing on into a pillar of spikes that came barreling towards Rex.

Rex dodged it but the entire floor came crashing down.

While they were airborne Rex created a water chain, grabbing a desk and slamming it onto the faceless villain.

Rex and The Transmutor were on floor two now.

Rex dashed towards the Transmutor who was covered in rubble but the rubble quickly turned into a dome of spikes that Rex quickly dodged by jumping away.

The Transmutor seeing Rex in midair, tretched his arm and immediately punched him in the stomach.

Rex coughed up some spit as he crashed through a wall and into another building.

Rex came through the second floor window rolling on the ground but he quickly got up and hid in the darkness.

The Transmutor landed in the room, dimly lit and hard to see.

The Transmutor looked left and before he could react, Rex punched him in the face, a little bit of blood streaming out of his mouth.

"You think playing god is funny? What's funny about this shit!" Rex yelled as he put a spiral of water straight into his stomach.

The Transmutor tanked this hit however and grabbed Rex's arm and threw him across the room.

Rex landed on his feet and shot two streams of water out of his fingers then coated his hand in water and ran towards The Transmutor.

The Transmutor blocked the first two streams and immediately grew his fist and slammed it down on the ground, destroying the second floor and disrupting Rex's concentration.

"I'm never gonna win like this, he has the upper hand!" Rex thought.

"I have to get in close, that's where I'm best!" Rex thought once again.

Rex seen a piece of the other building they were fighting in moments ago and using his quick thinking, Rex used a water chain to grab onto it and immediately kick The Transmutor into the building.

Rex and The Transmutor crashed into the third floors room.

Rex got up, face to face with The Transmutor.

"Not so tough when it's straight hands huh? No where to run." Rex said quietly.

The Transmutor scoffed and grew his arms.

"So his power not only lets him morph things, but also morph his own power?" Rex thought.

"You seriously could've been a huge help in society, the construction workers I always see coming here could use someone like you! Why do this? You can change!" Rex said.

"Why do you care? Isn't a heroes job to beat the big bad guy? Stop blabbing and do your damn duty!" The Transmutor said.

They were so close to each other they could feel each others body heat.

Rex immediately initiated the combat by throwing a right hook straight to his ribs. The Transmutor must have predicted his moments cause all Rex felt was stone like skin and not flesh.

Rex quickly holds water in the palm of his hand and he quickly manipulated the temperature and threw it into The Transmutors face.

The Transmutor staggered as his face burned.

Using this opportunity, Rex shifted his body and used a spinning elbow on The Transmutors face.

Blood came out of his mouth as The Transmutor quickly kicked Rex in his stomach.

The Transmutor quickly morphed the ground into a flurry of fist.

Rex blocked all of the fist but this was merely a distraction for The Transmutor to come from behind and punch Rex in his back, sending him across the room.

Rex got up tired and beaten.

"I can't last like this, I need a opening I need…"

"Help" Rex thought.

Rex thought about Yui, he thought about Orion, Sabrina, Roughouser, his classmates, his Mom, everyone and everything that he was leaving behind if he died in this fight.

Rex stood up and looked up at Transmutor.

"Why everytime something like this happens I feel like my life is at risk, why do I feel like I'm destined to die doing this job?" Rex said outloud.

Rex looks at his hand and smiles.

"Maybe I am weak huh?" Rex said to himself.

"But I'm not gonna give up my duties just cause my life is on the line, I'm not standing for that shit at all!" Rex said as he gathers water around himself.

Using the water in the water, Rex creates a clone of himself, same height and appearance.

"This will give me, THE OPPORTUNITY I NEED!" Rex and the clone scatters.

The Transmutor watches both of them carefully and trying to keep a distance, He morphs the ground into spikes.

Rex and The Clone jump into the air and propelled himself in the air with water at his feet as the clone does the same.

The Transmutor watches carefully as he creates a giant pillar that's headed towards both of them.

Rex and The Clone jumped into the air.

The clone goes back to Rex's arm as regular water and using the water, Rex propelled his fist into the pillar and smashing it into pieces.

Rex was so close to him he could almost feel his fist knocking him out.

"How Irritating The Transmutor said stretching his fist towards Rex.

Rex used his arm as a runway as The Clone split from him once again.

Spike's began to appear on The Transmutors arm as Rex ran at his full speed.

The Transmutor retracted his arm as they got closer and both the clone and Rex split.

There was a Rex behind The Transmutor and a Rex infront of him. The Transmutor had to choose right and fast.

The Transmutor opted for the Rex behind him as Rex was always trying to catch him off guard.

The Transmutor used his fist and brought it down on the Rex behind him. It got crushed but it immediately turned into a puddle.

The Transmutor for the first time in this fight was genuinely surprised. He turned around and tried to move out the way of the other Rex, but the puddle turned into powerful chains that held him down.

Rex coated his entire arm in water.

"This attack is for all the people that would be sad if I was gone!" Rex said as the water formed into a spiral.

"WATER DRILL!" Rex yelled as the spiral spun with amazing power and speed in The Transmutors stomach.

The Transmutor spit out blood as the attack was drilling into his stomach and if it kept going his insides.

"Although a amazing attack!" Transmutor thought.

"I see how he could've beat my minions, however!" Transmutor though as he grabbed the spinning drill and Rex's arm, stopping the attack.

"You're not strong enough to beat me!" The Transmutor said outloud.

Rex looked in horror, his strongest attack stopped with one hand.

The Transmutors arm grew as he crushed Rex's hand.

Rex yelled as he tried to get out of the bind.

"You could've been a great asset… But unfortunately" The Transmutor said as he stabbed Rex in his stomach.

"You're just another dead hero." The Transmutor said coldly.

Rex coughed up blood as the life from his eyes slowly faded.

"Rex! Rex!" Yui said.

Rex was thinking back to after he defeated Aaron, walking through the facility with Yui and talking with her.

"Sorry Yui, am I spacing out again?" Rex said closing his eyes and smiling.

"Yeah a little…" She said quietly.

"I apologize, maybe I'm just thinking about a lot of stuff" Rex said looking up to the roof.

"Whatever it is I can know!" Yui said shaking him.

Rex was laughing and looked at her.

"Well I never really thought about it but you and I could seriously die on this job you know" Rex said getting sentimental.

Rex clenched his fist looked down.

"The thought of losing anyone in a villain fight haunts me, looms over me everyday" Rex said.

Yui looks at him in concern.

"Rex, everyone is here for a reason, It's cause we're strong." She says comforting him.

Yui smiles looking at him.

"I promise I'm not gonna die, I'll fight my hardest!" Yui said.

Rex smiles looking at her and looks ahead.

"And I promise I won't die either, I give you my word!" Rex said.

Rex's abdomen was gushing blood, as The Transmutor held him up.

"You've peaked my interest, so don't die just yet!" The Transmutor said as he threw Rex out of the third floors building.

Rex started free falling headfirst as he was clinging onto life.

But before he hit the ground, Orion came flying through the air and grabbed his body.

Orion looked at his body in horror.

"Rex! Rex! What the fuck happened!?" Orion said.

Orions Platform landed on the roof of the building where The Transmutor was waiting, moving up from the third floor.

Orion set Rex's body down and confronted The Transmutor.

"Who the hell are you!?" Orion said gathering mass.

The Transmutor gave a bored sigh and turned to look at Orion

Before Orion could attack, a small thin person with a cloak and plague doctor mask came from a hole.

"These buildings? Did you fight?" The Person asked.

"Indeed, but it was no real issue!" The Transmutor said.

The Person sighed and looked at Orion.

"I'm assuming the plan is in motion now correct?" They said.

The Transmutor smiled.

"Go wild!" He yelled.

Orion got angry and was ready to blast them but him and Rex's body were above the huge black hole.

Orion was helpless as him and Rex were caught in the hole and disappeared.

The rest of the class were fighting the Transmuted Creatures.

Harrison burned one of them to ashes.

"We've been fighting for so long, we need to fallback and regroup!" Harrison yelled.

Yui and Sabrina stood side by side as they were fighting as well.

"Harrison is right! We have to go!" Sabrina said.

As the rest of the class nodded, a huge hole formed below the rest of the class while they were distracted, a huge scream coming from all of them.

The students of the hero course and support course have all disappeared, all in different places and severely outnumbered.

In the observation room, The Support Course Teacher had left the room and it was only Roughouser.

Roughouser was leaning in his chair relaxing with his mask off as he was distracted from his job.

Roughouser having a weird gut feeling looked at the monitor with his eyes widened.

Without hesitation he put his mask back on and opened the door.

"The Students, are in danger!" He said as he ran down at full speed.
