Christmas Time and A Proposal
It was Christmas time and the family had gathered at Sidney's house for dinner once again. Michael Myers had chosen this special occasion to propose to Analise, and he had bought an engagement ring in secret. Analise, Michael Myers, Lilly, Mark, Rusty, and Mick all traveled to Sidney's house in Analise's SUV. Upon arrival, Sidney welcomed them and inquired about the dogs. Analise explained that the dogs were left at home due to lack of space in the SUV. Sidney then offered to send leftovers home with them for the dogs. As they made their way to the back, Analise's great aunt Lola approached them and asked to hold Lilly. Mick was pleasantly surprised by the delicious American food, mentioning that coming from Australia, he had never knew how good food in America was. After the gift exchange, Michael raised his voice and announced, "I have one more gift for Analise." He turned to Analise, who was holding their daughter, and smiled. Taking a small ring box from his pocket, he knelt down on one knee. Analise gasped as Michael expressed his feelings, "Analise, these past months have been amazing. Being with you brings me so much joy. I'm grateful you chose to love me and welcomed me into your world. I love you deeply, Analise Marie Bates. Will you marry me?" Overwhelmed with emotion, Analise leaned in, kissed Michael, and said, "Yes." Michael slid the ring onto her finger as everyone else clapped and cheered.
After returning home, Analise gave the dogs the leftovers Sidney had sent for them. Once Lilly was asleep, Mark, Rusty, and Mick also went to bed. Analise then admired the engagement ring and inquired about its cost. Michael revealed that it was originally $5000, but after mentioning Analise's name, the ring dealer recognized her family and reduced the price to $1000. Overwhelmed with joy, Analise kissed Michael and expressed her excitement about planning the wedding with the help of Aunt Sidney, who is a wedding planner. Michael agreed, and they shared a tender moment before falling asleep, with the dogs resting by Lilly's crib.
