"WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"What was what?" she looks at me like I was the one that damn near carved a man's heart out of his chest

"THAT!.." I throw our hands up in the air as we walk out of the library "...What happened in there?" I stared her dead in the eye but she still kept the same puzzled look as if I were the odd one in this situation "...Why were you guys so hostile towards each other? I've never seen you get that pissed with anyone, was he an ex-boyfriend or something?"
