Michiko's POV

"Good Morning Cousin" Thea's impossibly vibrant smile nearly blinds me, the words falling from her mouth didn't quite click for me, I was too busy trying to discern if she were real or if I was having another one of those dreams again

I reach for one of the stray strands of hair that was brushing against my temple,

"Your hair is so dry"

"Excuse me, almost dying didn't give me much time to moisturize!" She sends a sharp kick to my side nearly knocking me off the stupidly large bed

I teeter on the edge grabbing fist fulls of the silk bedding stopping me from giving the shag carpet a kiss
