Just then, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Trevor, asking her to meet him in his office.
Claire straightened her shoulders, collecting her resolve, and headed to see her grandpa.
In Trevor's office, he was already in deep talk with Ethan, who had flown in to give support.
They both looked up as Claire entered, their faces grave. "Claire," Trevor started, his voice steady, "we need to talk about the current situation."
Ethan nodded in agreement. "The media storm isn't going down. In fact, it's increasing. A new video just leaked, showing Joshua and the girl in a compromising situation. It's all over the news."
Claire clenched her hands, trying to control her anger. "I saw it. The board must be worried. The stock price is already taking hits from the bad press."
