Click, click.... sounds of footsteps approached.

[What the hell. Hide-Hide you dummy. Someone is coming, we will get caught for sure]

[What are you waiting for? Hide Idiot] Noworry shouted in panic.

"Shush...…", Severus hushed.

Click, Click…. with the soft sounds of footsteps, a fragrant smell too entered inside Severus' nostrils. It was the same exotic fragrance that he remembered, but now this smell made him frown unknowingly.

[Exotic Cherry rose fragrance. I was right about her]

[Bitch] Noworry disdained.

"Huh, what's exotic bleh bleh…."

[It is a perfume made by a special rose, known as exotic cherry. Though it is nothing compared to Heavenly Desire fragrance, still this perfume isn't something you could buy with money] Noworry explained.

"So, What's wrong with perfume? Don't all girls love fragrance and apply it", Severus was confused. It was a simple fragrance so why did Noworry made it seem like Melanie used some shady perfume.

[Dumb Severus you really are simple. The fragrance she is wearing has spiritual powers. By wearing this she can excite any man or can continue her pastime]

"Excite…. oooof. What do you mean by pastime?" Severus asked in confusion.

[Isn't her pastime to be a flirt?] Noworry mocked.

Severus"...…."

Severus was lost for words. Although he wanted to deny it, the reality made his mouth shut. If someone had told him this in his previous lifetime, he would have killed them, but his past portrayed a different story. Not only was Melanie a flirt, but she was also cunning. She was not sweet and simple but a cunning and wicked woman who always had tricks up her sleeves.

"If this is the real you, then what were those tears for?", Severus murmured gloomily.

Severus heard the footsteps coming closer, so he instantly jumped back and hid in the shadows. A troop of ladies was following a girl who was walking in the middle of them. Everyone was holding candles except her. Several maids circled Melanie and were walking behind her maintaining a short distance.

"Is the crown prince inside the chamber?", came a soft but curt voice.

"Yes Princess"

"Tell him to come to my room tonight. I have some things to discuss with him."

"Sure princess"

"Anything else princess"

Melanie was going to wave her hand but stopped it in the middle. A voice that was filled with yearning and sadness said," burn some incense sticks on Severus grave and appoint someone to clean it regularly"

"Yess princess"

"Let's leave"

With that, the troupe went away.

Noworry worriedly glanced at Severus but after confirming that he was not as sad as he was in the beginning, he heaved a sigh of relief.

Severus cursed in frustration, saying, "Damn, that woman cheated me my whole life."

With quick steps, Severus crossed the hallway and reached outside the gate of Chamber of Secrets. There it was. A huge door made up of gold. It was a heavy door with intricate carvings of the Sun god. In Severus' memory, he had faint memories of this door as he was not allowed to enter inside this room. In the whole kingdom, only three people had the right to enter this room. The first one was the head of Onyx, king, and crown prince, respectively.

[So beautiful. If the door is so beautiful and expensive, I am sure that the room would be filled with enormous treasures] Noworry eyes glistened with greed.

Severus"...."

"Shut up, we aren't here for treasures. All this is a cursed treasure so don't even think about taking a penny from here"

Noworry [….]

[Resen truly lives up to their name. Even their treasure is cursed] Noworry said in helplessness.

Severus closed his eyes and started chanting some mantras. Soon Severus was illuminated with blue light. When he opened his eyes, then even his iris was illuminating with blue lights. Small freckles of black can be seen in his iris merged with blue light.

He slowly raised his hand and softly knocked on the doors three-time

"Voila, the door opened", Severus smiles sweetly.

Astonishment was written all over Noworry face.

[How did you do it? As far as I know, the sacred doors are only opened by god's wills. Even if you are the holy mortal, you need god's acknowledgment to open the sacred door. So, why are you able to open this door?] Noworry asked in bewilderment.

"I guess I am God's favorite", Severus laughed.

Noworry was still in shock. The spell which Severus performed was a third level necromancy spell, which was a rather hard spell. Even the high-level necromancers find it difficult to perform this level spell, but Severus did it so easily.

"Okay, I am going inside. You want to come?", Severus asked innocently.

Once, Noworry mind came to his senses, he immediately nodded his head. [Of course, I do not want to miss the glorific view of Resen's treasures]

Severus"...."

"Activate your spell and protect me with the aftereffects of the spell. I may faint too, so be ready to drag me up", Severus casually remarked.

It was true that for Severus the spell was easy but performing the earlier spell took a huge toll on his body. He was literally energy depleted.

"One more spell and I would die again", Severus sighed.

They swiftly went inside the room. As soon as he entered, the door behind him closed instantly.

"click…."

"Ufffff... Do god's want me to die again due to heart attack"

Noworry[...]

[At least have some shame. If you are really going to die because of a heart attack, then I will revive you only to kill you with my own hands…. I mean claws]

[What a disgrace] Noworry huffed.

Severus"...…."

"You only care about your damn reputation. Don't you?"

[Yes, I do]

Severus"..."

[Hey, see, what a measly amount of gold. I really expected too much. The wealth here is nothing compared to heaven's wealth]

Severus"...."

"Do you even know what can be compared and what cannot?"

"Dum-Dum Noworry", Severus said in exasperation.

[Fine-fine, so what is the thing that you want to look for. All I can see here is the expensive stuff. As far as I know you, you aren't interested in all these. Are you somehow?] Noworry asked curiously.

Noworyyyy....keep quiet

Severus looked everywhere but he didn't find what he was searching for. His face dropped.

[What happened? You didn't find it?]

"Welp…. I don't think it is here"

Severus dejectedly walked towards the door when a scroll dropped from the adjacent shelf.

Bam….one after another scroll tumbled on Noworrry's head.

"Fooook, why? What did I do to receive this punishment?"

[Ouch...Ouch….my wings…oh oh my head…. aaah…. nuuuu] Noworry shrieked in pain.

Severus stifled his laughter and helped him to come out from the mess. He casually picked up the scrolls and flipped them to read, but as soon as he flipped it, he dropped them again. Alas, Noworry who still sitting in the same position got hit by those scrolls again.

[Bastard…. what do you think you are doing?] Noworry cursed.

"AH… I am sorry birdie. You better not curse because this room is blessed by God. They won't like cursing so shut your mouth"

[Ughhhh...…you fooooooker. Pick them all and let's leave]

"Neeh wait for a minute. Let me make a copy of them all"

[Sure, I give you one minute to make a copy if not then I am leaving]

"Fine by me, give me a minute"

Severus again folded his hands and chanted a spell. Soon several papers floated in the air and all the content was copied from the original scrolls. When everything was completed Severus fainted.

[WHAT THE FOOOK. He fainted…. Damn you punk you are testing my patience, ughhhhh]

Noworry kept the original scrolls in their place and kept the copied ones in Severus' pocket.

[I am depending on you Hades now. If you don't want me and this boy to die then protect us] With that, Noworry hugged Severus and slammed the door with all his might, but to his surprise, the door opened as soon as his wings touched the door. Its impact was so strong that Noworry had to balance himself with much difficulty.

[Wow, Hades you really love this child. What is he to you?] Noworry murmured and flew away.
