Sheila looked up, surprised by Benjamin's statement.
The idea that he would want to meet her grandfather caught her off guard, and she couldn't help but have a slightly mocking tone in her voice when she responded.
"I don't think that's possible," Sheila said with a playful smile. "Since... you're leaving tomorrow on your little trip, aren't you?"
Benjamin, without losing his calm, looked at her with a serene expression.
"I'll only leave tomorrow if it stops raining," Benjamin replied, as if he were commenting on something unimportant. "So if this rain doesn't stop, I'll stay."
Sheila looked at him, puzzled.
That answer made no sense to her.
