Chapter 8

ALFALLA'S POV.

As we landed on the ground, the familiar yet so strange atmosphere welcomed us. It took two hours I guess before we arrive but it's not tiring because of the view from above and I just saw the whole Monarchy Kingdom. And this place is no joke, it's big, populated but the houses, guilds and other buildings are well-organized. This place screaming wealth and so much power, it is giving me goosebumps now.

"After we get the reward, let's go to the ocean." One more thing, I really don't understand why he told me to be with him to watch the sunset in ocean and collect shells together. I am feeling so uncomfortable, I am not into this situation. Even in human world, I am not comfortable with men knowing they are just playing with me. But I don't play with fire, I don't want to risk things that I will regret afterwards.

"C-Can you stop? Let's just go home after this." I think he is acting just like that because he sees me as his lover, as Alanna that made me so confuse why I am feeling mad when his treating me like the Princess.

Before, I dreamt to be one but I think I'll forever hate that title.

Suddenly knights appeared with their iron and metal battle suits, marching together like perfectly well-trained soldiers with their stiff body while holding their long and pointy metal spears.

"I guess you are the guest from the Grov Kingdom, we are here to bring you to our general. Follow us." One of them said, I nodded and I didn't even give Hell a glimpse and continue walking, led by the knights.

I roamed my eyes and suddenly feel so amaze, their buildings here are all almost made of crystals and gold. It's different from the Kingdom I'm from but the feeling being here is wonderful. I don't know, it feels like I have been here before. It feels like I met someone from here and we made memories together. It feels like home!

Is this really my body? I want to convince myself that it's me and was reborn but it's giving me more hint that this body is not originally mine! This feeling, it's not mine! I don't feel this way before! I am not a valuable kind of person when it comes to strange places!

"Are you okay?" One of the knights asked, I nodded and notice that I am now sweating. I just wipe it all using my palms and sighed. I think I have to step aside this first and accomplished the mission. I have to adopt the surroundings, strange places, new faces of people and new nature. I have to blend, and I have to keep away this mind from human world.

"She is okay, you don't have to ask her. Just lead the way." I heard Hell uttered, sounds like he is so annoyed but I didn't pay attention.

"Sorry about that." I whispered to the guy who asked me, he is just concern. He just nodded and I saw his lips smiled, I smiled back.

Minutes passed by and my eyes literally widened when we were now in front of the big Palace. Eleven broad, round towers tower above all, they're linked with small bridges and are connected by high, vast walls made of light brown gold. Tall windows are scattered here and there across the walls in an asymmetric pattern, along with overhanging crenelations for archers and artillery. It looks like a castle in our human world movie— fuck!

The big door of the Palace opened, and a perfect fragrant from the inside touches my nose the same goes with the cold breeze touches my body. I am still nervous to walk because of how gorgeous it is from the outside, so how much more in the inside?

As we walked in, several maids bowed their heads to the knights which they did the same back. And yes, I am not fucking wrong. It's incredibly beautiful from the outside, and is more so on the inside.

I think many Palaces are gorgeously designed and impeccably clean, and elegant is an apt adjective to describe this whole building inside. Though elegance is a positive trait, some people might feel nervous before visiting this palace. They might also be on their best behavior to make sure they fit into the sophisticated environment. I have to act like one, I have to behave.

I expected to be astounded by the royal Palace's structural splendor. The gardens from the outside and the hidden patios would appear to me as a haven full of floral fragrances and nooks and corners of pure delight. I believe I would view a vast and stately Palace as a fairy tale fantasy standard in the human world. I would be intrigued to see how it would feel to enter this intricately crafted regal Palace as a welcome guest, and it's so unreal! I am mesmerized by the elegance of marble and the breathtaking beauty of the landscaping. I suppose that seeing a Palace from the outside would inspire you to want to learn more about the interior. The terraces and turrets, in my opinion are amazing and breathtaking. This is so fucking unreal!

"Stop thinking things, you look like idiot." As if I care! It is already his hobby to ruin my mood! I immediately wondered why all of the people suddenly bowed their head down as if someone so powerful passed by.

"Idiot, bow your head! The Prince is here!" My eyes widened and immediately bowed. Shit! I almost ruin this mission myself because of being so disrespectful to the highest people of the Kingdom!

"Raise your heads people, I am just passing by. No need to be so formal." When I raised my head, an unfamiliar face greeted me. He saw me looking at him and I was so suddenly surprised when I clearly saw the shock on his face. I looked behind me but no one was there.

"Oh you're here! I've been waiting for a while!"

I smiled. It's Ma'am Deborah.
