Chapter 5: Tour

Regarding the last stat option, Alex was reminded of what have been gibberish on his mind when he heard it after his meditation. It was the sound of the voice actor notifying him of the new unlocked stat.

'[Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divinity stat.]'

"Why the hell is it a question mark though? That hot goddess had words on it, saying about incomplete and such. All I've known about this thing 'divinity', from it's words, have to do about being divine, gods and stuff."

Alex thought for a while, then threw the issue to the back of his mind. He felt that this thing have something he needed to get or something to do to unlock, such as having worshippers or even slaying gods to obtain their 'divinity' like some of those novels he read. He found it tedious, that is due to his lazy attitude as a shut in.

"Well, whatever, let nature take it's course. I'll get what I'll get, not what I don't. Simple as that."

Alex began to hurry, as all he could see around was all a patch of colorless trees. He looked on and muttered 'That goddess's really strong, damn, all I see are the aftermath of her attack.'

He then decided to look from above, as he tried to jump with all his might. Of course, since he ain't ignorant about numbers or be dense like those novels he read where the main protagonist have no clue about their strength, even with the plot armor and crazy treasures stuffed in their asses, he know how powerful he is currently.

The reason he tried to counterattack the Lightsword Goddess on the pond was because of the status panel he was shown when he looked at the woman with focus. Since he got higher numbers than her, it goes to show that he's more powerful than her, right?

"Numbers don't lie, mate." "Hmmpp" With a grunt, a thunderous boom resounded beneath his feet. The strength of his leg cracked the surface of about a kilometer in diameter, followed by an intense shockwave blasting the colorless forest.

"Woooohhh" like a child on a rollercoaster, he shouted loudly, scattering the nearby clouds. His vertical ascension continued for minutes, then neared to hour, and after an hour later, he was still ascending to the skies.

"Wow, this world is really vast, I've been flying for like 2 hours already, and still haven't arrived at the exosphere of this planet, if there is." With a look beneath him, he saw where he was at before, was a huge landmass of greeneries except for a small patch of black near it's center. He haven't seen the corners of the green until he was already 4 hours in the skies.

The momentum of his jump lasted for about 4 and a half hour and jumped again, using air friction as his propelling force, seemingly like cracking the skies from it's thunderous sonic boom. His short hair flapped wildly due to the sudden change in momentum and for about two hours, he saw a golden patch of clouds above him.

'Is that a golden palace? Ah shit, this will be trespassing if I continue my ascent. I don't know how strong someone from that place is. I better change my direction.'

Emitating an eagle diving with wings open wide, he began to flip himself and kicked on the direction of the palace, not knowing the aftermath of that action of his. All he could think of was to jump in the other direction.

At last, he saw the edge of the green forest and noticed the vast oceans, with numerous islands widely apart from each other. As to how apart, Alex didn't know as all he could see was the strangeness of these islands. If the gargantuan forest astounded him enough, these islands truly numbed him to shock. The islands are constantly moving, like ships on sail. He noticed an island that's floating, like the necropolis of undeads. Islands with huge bubble like covering their entirety, strangely submerging and emerging from the oceans.

"What a strange world, apart from that forest that's so vast like there's no end, these moving islands also defies all logic.. Oh, finally, a habitable land."

Alex spent nearly 6 hours touring the landscape of the world. Even with his strength, the only things he ever saw was the vast forest, the strange islands

and his latest discovery, a human- infested land.

As he neared it's location, he began to think about one crucial problem, his descent.

"Ah shit."

Like a blazing meteorite with trailing flames behind, he crashed on a vast unpopulated desert. The impact caused a tsunami-like wave of sand, where dust stormed from the shockwave everywhere around a kilometer wide in diameter. Nearby beasts, from beast kings to even the tiniest hatchlings, all crushed from the impact, leaving trails of blood and numerous corpses strewn everywhere.

The man himself, of course, came out unscathed. Other than his appearance, which looks like Sandman(1), nothing noteworthy happened to his body.

"I'll never gon' do that shit again, I swear, ptuii, ptuii. Ah, I'm full of sands, well thankfully no harm, no harm.." Alex shook the dust off from his body and climbed up the now sink hole with little jumps, creating small holes everywhere his feet touched.

Imitating a salute like action to block off sunlight on his eyes, he looked through the vast desert, all he could see is sand. Remembering the populated city he saw from above, he took off on the direction of north. Stomping, he burst off the distance like a cannonball.

'So this is how Saitama(2) feels, it's so goddamn hard to control my strength.' From the sandy desert, he crossed a forest, unlike the one he have been before, with extreme speed he leaves an afterimage and the force of the wind blasting the nearby trees on front. All the beasts hid in horror, afraid of the consequences from even looking at the aftermath. Some unfortunate ones nearby turned to mashed meat.

Alex rapidly arrived near the city borders in a minute. Using his legs to brake, the soil on his feet formed a wide 'U' shape. Breathing in and out slightly, his lips grinning and calmly said

"Baby girls, here I cum!"
