Chapter 76 - Start of the Vacation 2

Index Librorum Prohibitorum, are sulking in her room in Yuragi Sou. She had just finished all her duties at Yuragi Sou along with Aisha and also Kaori (Who was forced to live in Yuragi Sou by the Amakusa church and Neccesarius, as Index's supervisor. That decision annoyed Stiyl of course, because Stiyl felt he was the best person to look after Index, but unfortunately he is not allowed to enter Academy City, except for certain missions.)

She was annoyed because she also wanted to go to the beach like Touma, Kotori, and also Shizuka. But unfortunately Chitose doesn't allow Index to come because Touma, Chitose and Shizuka going to the beach is for personal business and not for vacation.

Even though Chitose had told Index the reason why she couldn't go to the beach. But Index who is super stubborn doesn't want and can't accept the reason given by Chitose.

"Index, please stop sulking like that," Kaori said who was sitting next to Index. "Chitose-san and Kamijou Touma went to the beach not for fun, but to mend the relationship between Yukiko-san and Kamijou Shiina who is Kamijou Touma's mother. So you don't have to be angry about not being asked to go by them."

"But Kaori! I want to go to the beach too!" Index shouted. "In this nasty summer the only way to cool off is to go to the beach for a swim!"

"But Index, are you can swim?" Asked Kaori. "Last time I knew, you even drowned in ofuro which is fifty centimeters deep, and now you're saying you want to go to the beach to swim? Isn't that like killing yourself?"

"Ugggh! I really can't swim! But I can wear a life jacket so I can stay afloat in the water! That's why Kaori took me to the beach!" replied Index who was still stubborn with her decision.

"Once no, is a no! I don't have the money to take you to the beach you know!" Kaori shouted. "Because you ate a lot of Senzu beans, Neccessarius has a lot of debt to Hiko Seijuro! And because of that debt, my salary from Neccesarrius has also been reduced, you know! I have to work as an employee in this place to pay off your debt!"

Kaori's scary angry face made Index, who had been sulking earlier, feel scared. To the extent that Index had to hide under the covers.

"I'm sorry Kaori," Index said who was peeking from under the blanket with a look in her eyes "I forgot that I caused Neccesarrius to owe a lot of debt to Seijuro-san.

"Sigh never mind," Kaori said with a deep sigh. "I hope you stop being spoiled like that, Index. Because we are only staying at Yuragi Sou and you are acting as if you are the owner of this place! You should know yourself! Because if you continue to act like that we might get kicked out of this place, do you want to have to live on the streets while neither of us have any money for shelter or food?"

"O-of course I don't want that kind of thing to happen to both of us," Index said whose stomach was rumbling loudly "Because the thing I hate the most is when I can't eat at all!"

."All that's in your brain is just food, huh," Kaori said who was amused when she heard those words and the sound of Index's stomach. "Fortunately Chitose-san has fixed your abnormal metabolism and digestion system. If we don't, our debt might even increase because you have to eat five times a day and that too in five adult portions."

Mitsuari Ayu and Misaki Shokuhou who overheard the conversation between Index and Kaori when the two of them passed by Index's room. Was shocked when they heard that Chitose, Touma, Kotori, and Shizuka had gone to the beach.

Both Shokuhou and Ayu had just returned from the private lab managed by Hiko's men for a routine check that took two days. So the two of them didn't even know that Chitose, Touma, Kotori and Shizuka had left Academy City.

"Hey, Mitsuari-san did you know that Touma-san and the others have plans to go out of town?" Asked Shokuhou.

"Absolutely not," Ayu replied. "It seems the departure of the four of them was something unplanned. Because if not one of the residents of Yuragi Sou would have contacted me."

"Tcch even though I came here to continue my culinary lessons together with Chitose-san, but sadly she left instead!" Shokuhou said whose face looked irritated.

"Then how about we just follow the four of them," Ayu said, saying the idea that just popped into her head. "It's a strange coincidence that the upper echelon of ths Academy City gave all the schools a week off even though summer break has long since passed."

"Following the four of them, huh. I think it's a pretty good idea, it just so happened that it's been a long time since I had the opportunity to take a vacation outside Academy City," Shokuhou said whose eyes lit up when she heard Ayu's idea. "But the problem is that we don't know where Touma-san and Chitose-san have gone, so even if the two of us have plans to go after them we won't be able to leave since we don't know where they are right now."

"Hmm, you're right. Do you think Index or Kaori know where Touma-san has gone, huh?" she said.

"They both probably know, so maybe we can invite the two of them to go with us to the beach where Touma-san is as payment for telling us where Touma-san is," Shokuhou said who suddenly had another idea in her head. "And let's also invite Aisha, Kirika, Maika and Tsuchimikado to make things more lively and exciting."

Shokuhou said while trying to hold back the amusement that arose because she remembered Kuroko's bad luck. "Touma-san's face turned pale, and he immediately hit Kuroko-san by reflex so that Kuroko-san's body was embedded in the wall deeply."
