Chapter 41 - Accelerator

In a park near Yuragi Sou.

"So Stiyl, Kaori why did you two return to Academy City again?" Asked Index. "Hasn't Touma forbade you two to return to this city?"

"That bastard Kamijou Touma only forbade me and Kaori not to return to Yuragi Sou, and not to Academy City," Stiyl said who looked annoyed and disgusted when Index mentioned Touma's name. "After all, we didn't come to this city of our own volition, but because of a special task we were doing. And we purposely summoned you here, so that you warn Kamijou Touma so that he won't interfere with our work in Academy City."

"If I just said that to Touma I think I can do it," Index said, somewhat surprised as to why Stiyl hated Touma so much. "But I want to know, what exactly is the task that requires the two of you to return to this city again."

"The two of us are required to arrest someone named Aureolus Izzard who founded a science worship sect in Academy City which he disguised as a tutoring school called Misawa Cram School," Kaori explained. "At the same time to save someone who was taken advantage of by Aureolus Izzard."

"Saving someone?" Chitose said who was standing right next to Index. "Does the person you want to save have some peculiar strength or power to the point that he or she is being taken advantage of by the person you are trying to capture."

"Yes, the person we want to save has a special power to kill vampires," Kaori said. "Even that power is strong enough to kill the vampire progenitor, so if that person is not saved, Necessarius' side is worried that the person will be killed by the vampires, so we must save that person as soon as possible."

"The one who has the power to kill the most powerful vampire!?" Index said looking surprised. "I can't believe that in that world there are people with such power!"

"Aaah this is boring," said a teenager with white hair and pale skin. "I want to fight the real Rail Gun, not the pathetic clones like all of you."

"We won't let you touch Onee-Sama, said Misaka who was trying hard to prevent Accelerator from meeting Onee-Sama."

"And we also won't let ourselves be killed like the rest of us says Misaka while pointing her gun at Accelerator!"

Accelerator was currently battling at least five Misakas, who were surrounding him pointing the anti Esper gun that Misaka had stolen from the Anti Esper office.

The Misakas had prepared themselves very well to fight Accelerator, but unfortunately in front of the Vector Master. The efforts of the Misakas were in vain, as it was just before the Misakas could shoot Accelerator. The blood flow in the Misaka's body was made to flow faster by Accelerator so that the Misaka's veins burst and eventually they all died in an instant.

"Like I said before this is really boring, a puppets like the five of you are really no fun to fight," Accelerator said as he walked away from the five Misakas who had already become corpses. "Aaah, I really want to fight someone who can take me seriously! If only the Number zero that rumored as the true s first Level Five Esper, before me actually existed, I think I can fight seriously."

Unbeknownst to Accelerator, the murderous act he committed was seen by two people and the faces of the two people turned deathly pale from the scene they had just seen.

After Accelerator left the location of his battle with the five Misakas. The rest of the Misakas arrived at the location and started the cleansing of the corpses as their creator had ordered. The purge was done so that there was no evidence of Misaka's clones in Academy City. Because Misaka Sister's is an amoral project, so Academy City doesn't want outsiders to know about the existence of the project. Several years earlier the project had been destroyed by Hiko Seijuro. But Kihara Gensei secretly resurrected the project, in order to see Accelerator's rise to become a level 6 Esper.

The -177th branch of the Judgment Office, just as Kotori was busy finishing the pile of documents that had just come in.

"Sigh, it feels like this document will never run out," Kotori said. "Sometimes I regret being a member of Judgment."

"Ahaha, chief you're not the only one who feels the same way," Konori said who was as busy as Kotori. "I also sometimes think, if I knew that by becoming a member of Judgment I had to work like an office worker at a black company, I would never want to be a member of Judgment."

"But getting out of Judgment isn't that easy, plus some of the benefits of being a Judgment member, I think working on all these documents is worth it," Kotori said.

Kotori finished speaking their office door opened, and Kuroko and Uiharu appeared with faces that looked tense and pale as if they had seen a ghost.

"Uiharu, Kuroko what's wrong with you two, why are you both pale like that?" Asked Konori who was confused when she saw Kuroko and Uiharu.

"O-Onee-Sama there are many of them!" Kuroko replied with a pale face. "E-just now Uiharu-san and I saw Onee-Sama becoming a lot."

"This must be a dream! This must be a dream! There's no way Mikoto-san could suddenly become so numerous!" Uiharu said while holding her head with both her palms. "Because I'm sure that Mikoto-san doesn't have a twin!"

"Misaka-san having a twin? That's impossible isn't it, because Misaka-san isn't twins and she herself told me that she's an only child," Kotori said while licking the lollipop.

"Don't tell me that someone from Academy City's is cloning Misaka-san."

"If you only saw that there were so many Mikoto-san, the two of you shouldn't have reacted like that," Konori said. "Actually what has happened to the two of you that make you paled like that."

"So Touma-san, what are you going to do with the two of them next?" Asked Shizuka.

"For now just let the two of them rest," Touma replied. "Then let's think about what we're going to do with those two. Having two kinds of trouble at the same time is making me have a headache."

"You say that, but basically you intend to solve those two problems, don't you?" Shizuka said with a smile. "Even though I know you're really reluctant to do it."

"I've told you many times Shizuka-san, I'm the type of person who is reluctant to do things that trouble me and don't benefit me," Touma said. "Even sometimes because of my lazy nature, I'm lazy to do things that don't have a benefit for myself though."

"Sigh Touma-san you should get rid of that lazy nature of yours," Shizuka said in an advisory fashion. "That's not good for your future you know!"

"I'm still quite diligent," Touma said casually. "I am still diligent in practicing martial arts, training my body so that my body is not stiff, and I am also diligent in fighting people who challenge me to fight."

"That's not what I meant!" Shizuka shouted. "What I mean is to be diligent in something more positive than anything else you usually do! Sigh I'm confused about how your grades are still good even though you almost always fall asleep in all class hours!"
