Fly high

Shiro looked at Shin in surprise, and looked back at the blessing, now being able to read it and seeing that he did have the blessing, he looked at Shin again, but before he could ask a question he realised that Shin also had a look of confusion

Shin went into a thinking position, something felt familiar, but he couldn't put his figure it out, eventually he gave up and decided to keep progressing 

While they were walking, Shiro was going to question it, but decided not to after seeing Shin kill monsters easily, since he forgot about it after seeing his now fathers strength

Shin made sure to kill any monster that could be a threat to Shiro, after setting the XP sharing so Shiro took most of the XP, of course Shiro didn't notice, as Shin put the settings so he didn't, but he realised that he was levelling up quickly, although some of his stats where still filled with question marks, he knew he couldn't do anything yet to force it to show itself

"Hey, this is slow, have you ever flown?" Shin asked Shiro, who shook his head "alright, let me show you something" Shiro thought that he meant was gonna use magic to lift him and let him fly, or maybe even give him an item that lets him fly

Shin took his ring off, which fell into his sleeve, and his wings appeared, although unlike his normal wings before they changed, and instead of them being completely black, the outer edges where streaked in a white flame, Shiro was amazed, his face amusing Shin, who picked the kid up and flew at a fast speed

Shiro didn't expect it and held onto Shin tightly, looking down and felt fear from falling, but that fear was quickly replaced by amazement, as he got higher and higher, the beauty of everything below him, not noticing the monsters that Shin burned when he felt that they were a danger to Shiro

Shiro became lost in the peacefulness, he could have only dreamed of this happening in the past, an orphaned boy with no hope, who didn't care before and made those who didn't know him feel some fear, now was flying in the air, as if free from the confines of the earth, with a father who has confronted  him when an old trauma returner, and blessed by a God, he felt like he was on top of the world

Shin knew the way Shiro felt, not by looking at him, or connecting their minds or emotions, he just knew, maybe they were the fatherly instincts he gained when he adopted Shiro, whatever it was he welcomed it

After a while Shin found a monster flying towards him that he guessed he couldn't beat just be using his wings, and at the speed be was flying if he used a spell be may lose balance and Shiro could be harmed, so he decided to land, Shiro was gonna question why but after he looked back and saw the monster, he realised that Shin needed to defeat it first, so he just waited until Shin finished

Shin of course didn't waste much time and sent an air slash, killing it so fast that the blood that the wind blade made contact with evaporated into a blood mist, and so did some of the blood near it, Shiro would be shocked, but he's seen Shin fight but that long ago, so he got somewhat use to it

"Alright, we can go back up" Shin told him, about to fly, but his instincts made him dodge instead, and a wolf flew by him, landing safely on the soft grass

Shin was about to kill it, but Shiro stopped him by saying "let me fight him" he felt cocky after seeing Shin defeat a stronger monster, and thought that he could take them on, and Shin let him do it since it was a learning experience that could be useful, plus he could help if he felt like Shiro couldn't handle it

Shiro got ready to fight, and using what knowledge of magic he had, he shot a few balls of water, the wolf attempted to dodge but Shiro shot the balls so if the wolf dodged in any direction, it would get hit

Right before the water ball hit, Shiro dispersed the rest and put his focus on the ball, turning it into a blade, which sliced into the wolf's eyes, but sadly the blade didn't cut the brain, keeping the wolf alive in pain

Seizing the opportunity, Shiro ran ahead and sent another water blade, thinking it wouldn't be able to see, however the wolf has landed and it's instincts kicked in, making it quickly jump away, which although was surprising to Shiro he quickly thought of another strategy to win

The wolf dashed to Shiro, knowing that it it gave him time, he would beat it, it tried to tear into Shiro, but Shiro thought it would try that and dodged, then pointed his finger at it and shot a water bullet faster than it could react, then a few more to make sure it was dead and not suffering

Shin smiled proudly, after all his son was able to make quick decisions and even minimized the risk on himself when he shot the water bullet, which was fast and powerful but couldn't be controlled well and normally only goes in a linear path, but thinking further he slightly frowned

"If he can do this with barely any experience, he's a natural born fighter, will that be a good or a bad thing, it depends on what he wants to achieve in life, oh well, as a father I must take my responsibility seriously and make sure to support him no matter what" he thought, quickly getting rid of the frown and walked to Shiro

Shiro looked at his father, curious at what he would do, and Shin hugged him, saying "congrats" while doing it. Shiro liked the praise he got, it made him smile and feel great, so he decided that no matter what, he would never disappoint Shin

"Wanna go back in the air now?" Shin asked, and after seeing Shiro nod, he picked him up and started flying again, seeing the resolute nod his son had, he was always gonna protect his kid no matter what

In a burning planet, a red haired man laughs in a crazily, screams all around him, as only Immortal lives, their screams echoing through the otherwise empty universe, years passed in that universe, and once he was bored the red haired man tortured them, after that they all died

Soon a portal opened and a blue haired person came out, saying to the red haired man in a scolding manner, but the red haired man didn't look like he cared, and just left through another portal

The blue haired person just signed, then said, with a soft voice, "restore". A blue glow shined around the blue haired person, and the universe was restored to before the genocidal maniac destroyed it, no one remembering what happened

Name: Defensive aura

Description: an easy way for people to shield themselves, depending on the person it can completely block from a punch to a falling boulder, and if it's denser it can block even more, however it uses mana to be able to keep it active, and gets weaker after the user is hit, and if the energy isn't pure, it's more unstable and can break easier

How to use: the user surrounds themself in a cloak of energy (usually mana) trying to make it as dense as possible

•once retracted, any unused energy returns

•depending on the energy it can deal damage or heal the user
