War is Coming(2)

"By the great chin of Thanos!"

Evan shouted in shock, he, Queen's Requiem, Finn's gang, Amelia, Carson and Iris were underneath the city and what they saw in front of them was a large and wide tunnel big enough for a hell barge and ship's to fit right through it. The tunnel was just that big that it left them speechless except for Amelia. 

"That's a huge bitch!" Jacob and Carson said it out loud.

"Where does this tunnel lead?" Rodeo asked the MTF soldier.

"From the geographic scan that we did, it leads outside of the city to the deserts of Nevada. At least tens of kilometers from the city."

'Their leader did say about setting things in motion. This must be one of those things, I wonder what purpose it serves through?' Rodeo thought.

Tens of kilometers away from the city, Imp, Revenant, Cacodemon, Baron and the Marauder, the ones who fought Green were now standing in the middle of the desert after going through the massive tunnel, coming out of a rocky mountain and finding themselves here. 

"I hate sand." Imp said, kicking the sand out of his foot in annoyance.

"Are you sure Archvile said he will meet us here?" Marauder asked Revenant.

"Patience marauder. He will be here." Revenant replied calmly, but then he sees a fighter class ship heading towards them, "Never mind he's here."

The group of five demons saw the ship heading towards them and as the ship hovered in front of them, the front doors opened and coming out was the Archvile... who is also part of Revenant's team of idiots. 

"Need a lift?"

In a very large underground cavern underneath the forests of West Virginia, the ship lands inside the cavern that had the rest of the Immoran fleet ships and troopers as well as the rest of the hell dimension's forces. 

I mean a lot of them, numbering thousands.

Once the ship had landed, Archvile, Imp, Cacodemon, Revenant, Marauder and Baron got out of it and saw how many of their forces were there. 

"Damn son! How many are here?" Revenant asked Archvile.

"A lot. We also have enough argent energy to keep us fueled for a couple of years, maybe a decade. This was the General's back up plan. Keep a reserve army here in case things go south with the portal, and things do go south. Now listen to me carefully."

Everyone nodded and listened to Archvile as he started explaining. 

"Eons back when Davoth and his people were backstabbed by the Maykr race, Davoth wanted vengeance on his creations and destroyed all of them and recreated it again. He and our dimension once invaded this world that we are in before but it was a time when swords, magic and arrows existed. And that is when Davoth and his forces met him. The Scarlet King."

As Archvile continued his story, more demons crowded over him and listened to the story, some of them, mostly from Revenant's team, ate a box of popcorn.

"The Scarlet King, a being who had extreme hatred to existence itself and wanted it destroyed. Both of them and their forces fought each other for the past three days, the battle was utterly catastrophic but it was a stalemate. While the battle caused the world to freeze and change the planet's axis, they were holding back as well and just testing each other at first. Even if they contain the damage of their powers, they still turn the entire world into a complete wasteland in a matter of days. The Scarlet King at the time was still trying to grow powerful, but he was still powerful enough to go toe to toe at Davoth's level, but Davoth was a warrior so they fought each other till the very end until both of them fell on their knees."

"Then how did they become buddy-buddy with each other?" Revenant asked, continuing to eat his popcorn.

"When it came to destruction to creation itself, both had similar goals but the difference was that Davoth wanted to destroy what beings he created and create new ones and find the secret of immortality for his people but the Scarlet King on the other hand wanted to destroy existence itself because itself was a pain of an ass for him. They both were destruction, powerful beings, creations of destruction, anger, rage and darkness. They were both two  different sides of the same coin, then understanding each other's pain, the Scarlet King made special doors and a portal for his forces in case Davoth were to ever be extinguished in the future and his forces lose access to dimensions as a gift. The portal and the doors were also made from a tiny fraction of the souls of Davoth and the Scarlet King. So that the link would be established and an alliance forged and that our world will follow the Scarlet King in his quest for destruction. Now remember when I talked about the doors and the portal's flaws?"

"Yeah, you did."

"Well the flaw was that since the doors and the portal were made from a piece of Davoth's soul and The Scarlet King's, so... when Davoth died, his piece of soul which was in the door and portal also died which created a flaw. The flaw is that if anyone closes the portal all of our forces will get pulled back into it and sent back home. But if you get as far as possible from the area or city when the portal closes and pulls us in, then we will be fine, but the portal is now closed, and we are stuck here and we have to reopen it... again. And they are gonna help us as well."

"They?"

Snapping his finger, Archvile called out three Immoran troopers, which they brought out three people in robes with the logo of the faction known as "The Children of the Scarlet King" on the back of their robes. They were the same ones who activated the portal in the first place. 

"I'll take a guess you know the Scarlet King?" One of the robed figures spoke out.

"How did you find them?" Revenant asked.

"The Immoran's hacked this world's database and servers using their tech and security footage and found these three." Archvile simply answered as he approached the three and said, "You three will help us get the portal back open, help free the Scarlet King and maybe he might reward you for your efforts." 

The three robed figures looked at each other then back at him and nodded. 

"Gentlemen, it seems like we got a lot of work to do."

"😴 zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Robots. zzzzzzzzzz." 

In the corner, they could see Imp lay in there sleeping his ass off without a care in the world, which causes Revenant to feel pissed at him again.

"And someone get this idiot a job! His laziness is gonna doom us all one day!"

"Good grief." Archvile facepalmed.

Back in the city, Rodeo was watching the MTF soldiers as they picked up the bodies of the people who lost their lives and the soldiers, both from the nation's military and the Foundation who sacrificed themselves for the greater good. He felt a hand on his right shoulder and saw it was Michelle. They both looked at each other and continued looking at the MTF soldiers doing their work. 

"Things have become more dangerous with the Chaos Insurgency and Stand factions involved, and now the Scarlet King and the Pillar Men are also gonna play a role in the future. I'm not sure what dangerous events are waiting for us."

"Yeah, but let's just try our best and succeed."

"Agree..."

With the rest of Queen's Requiem and Finn's gang standing beside him, Rodeo added.

"Let's all try our best."

At an office belonging to the boss of a Stand faction located in Scotland, the boss and his team, including more new members, were looking at blueprints of Site-17 and pictures of other Foundation controlled areas.

In Rome, the Wonder of U was in a room filled with unknown individuals who seem to be of the business, or a mafia type.

In an unknown location, Colonel Tartarus was examining the progress of Project Jäeger with a smile on his face. 

"Perfect."

In a forest in Canada, the white humanoid wearing executioner type clothes was looking at a disc while sitting on a tree branch.

On the outskirts of Miami, Wamuu and Esidisi were currently standing on the top of the roof of the motel, looking at the night sky.

In the original city of London located in England, Santana was in the sewers and had a deadly glare on his face.

In an unknown dimension, the Scarlet King lay in an underground area, filled with complete darkness and utter silence while in chains, but then, when he felt the presence of the portal closing, he realized that the invasion plan failed. 

And his reaction...

"RAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

The Scarlet King roared in extreme rage that had shook the entire world he was in.

Rumble—! Rumble—!

The earth unexpectantly began to rumble and shake at the echo of the monstrous roar. The ground began to fracture, and the mountains began to crumble. Suddenly, lava erupted from the depths of the globe and splattered against the expansive plains that comprised the world. In the space of just a few seconds, the world that had been so tranquil moments prior was transformed into a place filled with destruction.

...and all of this came as a result of one monster's roar full of extreme rage.

If not for him being sealed and his power being suppress, he would've had ended billions of universes, dimensions, and realities, and killed countless Gods and Elder Gods by his roar alone, however, with his power being suppress, it decreases to the point that he could only end the life to all the inhabitants of the world he was in with just a sneeze, that's why there is none left a long time ago.

Calming down a bit, the Scarlet King sighed, but the rage he had was hidden deep, "No matter what they try to do... no matter what anomaly they send after me... no matter whoever is stopping me... I WILL BE FREE!"

With his last words, the entire world he was currently in had experienced another extinction event but on a whole catastrophic scale, but with no inhabitants left, he didn't kill any.

Back on earth, the incident on Vegas was successfully covered up by the Foundation and the invasion was stopped by Rodeo and his team but many things have been set in motion. Many deadly foes are going to be prepared to unleash injustice on the SCP world and more deadlier beings are gonna pull Universal level threats on it as well. 

War is coming.
