Chapter 16

Rubie's POV

Apparently, Mun-Yeong owns a car, which we get into and leave. In a few minutes, we get there; Mun-Yeong parks in front of the bar, and we get in line.

"This is so exciting; I've never been to a karaoke bar before." Stacey squeals

Mun-Yeong nods and starts telling her about all her experiences at karaoke bars. A few minutes later, we get to the front of the line, and the huge bodyguard pulls off the rope, separating the people on the line from the bar. We all move to enter, but I'm brushed back by the huge man.

"No, she's with us," Mun-Yeong says.

"She can't go in; you two can, but she can't," the man retorts.

Mun-Yeong goes under the rope, and Stacey follows her.

"Wae, huh? Why can't she enter, huh?" Mun-Yeong says, now clearly mad.

"Well, I didn't want to say it like this, but people like her can't enter this bar. Look around you; people here don't look like you," the man says with a small smirk on his face.
