Nancy’s POV
It’s been two days since I ran out of Ronnie’s office. That’s two days of silence and tip-toeing around each other at home. I miss Ronnie. I miss talking to him and snuggling with him. We both stick to our sides on the bed now, and I don’t feel as warm and comfortable anymore.
I miss having breakfast together too. He still makes breakfast for both of us, but he eats in his office now. In fact, he’s been spending the majority of the last two days in his office, which is most likely where he is now.
Neither of us has apologized yet. I’m tired of the tension. The girls and I have set up a pizza date today and I can’t wait. I need a distraction.
Sitting in the living room waiting for Jessie and the girls to get here is torture! We all agreed to just drive together and Jessie is always the one who drives, mainly because she has a more reliable car than Mollie, Sara, and I. I’d take my new one, but Ronnie hasn’t said when it’ll be here yet.
