Ronnie’s POV
Monday mornings at work are always awful.
Everyone’s still on their weekend high and not ready to do any work. I’ve thought many times over the years about giving everyone a three-day weekend and starting the week on Tuesday, but I know Tuesday would turn into the new Monday and be just as dreadful.
Mondays are also horrible because it’s the day I’m around Sabrina the most. She always goes over my schedule for the week, which usually takes about an hour, including adding in any changes.
Max also comes to bother me on Mondays to tell me about his weekend, but I’m not sure if he’ll do that today since he was at my house on Saturday.
A knock startles me out of my thoughts. I look at the door and see Max’s head pop in.
“I was just wondering if you’d be visiting me this morning,” I muse as he closes the door behind him. Max takes his usual seat across from my desk.
“That was some party you had Saturday,” Max says coolly.
