Julian's POV
Another glass of alcohol was tossed to me by Idris. He seemed worried about my new behavior of drinking for a week now. He wouldn't understand. As a Casanova, he was used to getting what he wanted. Women aren't his problem.
I could have said the same a few weeks ago before I came here but she is inscribed in my head like a mark. The impact causes a ringing sensation in my head that I'm trying to get rid of.
What made me think I could pull this off I don't know. I have never chased a woman before not this long anyway. They usually jump at me with just a glimpse. I had thought it works on Lena considering the way she was gawking at me the first time we met. I guess the charm didn't last long. I hope to get over her soon. I don't care how long but I will.
" Is this about the chick on the portrait? Girls are not worth it. I rather take what I can get and move to another one. After all, they're numerous"
