A lot of people were whispering in the background while others still haven't recovered from Milena's sudden race when she saw Leonard Julian Van Connor; The most wanted bachelor on all continents. Does this mean she hasn't met him? Is this a trial marriage between two wealthy families?
Why was she shocked to see him? The way he was looking at her it seemed he knew her and again he'd seem like Milena had offended him greatly. Could this be the reason she ran off? Was she scared of him? If that's the case they have to stop the engagement. She doesn't want him.
By the look on his face, he doesn't want her either. He might see her as a challenge. We, the rich have complex minds. I can see the mischief in his eyes.
A gasp echoed next to me from her immediate family who are devastated at the turn of events, especially Isabella. I'm not surprised to know she was cos it might backfire and she'll be on the payroll again.
