On the day she was supposed to become Mrs. Jade, Eclipse Rocelyn was humiliated. Slapped and insulted by her own fiancé, Robert Jade, and betrayed by her wicked stepsister Jessica and scheming stepmother Mrs. Rocelyn, they accused her of cheating and ruined her in front of everyone. They pushed her, letting her fall and die with no mercy. But death wasn’t the end. Eclipse woke up, reincarnated as a fierce warrior from far away, a girl with the same face and name who had also died in battle. Now, with both their memories merged, Eclipse returns with fire in her heart. She swears to make them pay for what they did. Enter Alastor, the most powerful billionaire in Star City. Eclipse strikes a deal with him—she’ll get her revenge, and he’ll be by her side, spoiling her like no one ever has. Alastor is not just a protector; he’s willing to burn down anyone who dares harm his new wife. Revenge never looked this sweet... or this dangerous.
Smack!
The loud sound of a slap echoed through the room.
Eclipse stumbled, hitting the wall before she could steady herself.
Her pale cheek swelled up, a sign of how hard she had been slapped.
Robert angrily threw the photos in his hand at her face, his expression full of rage. "Eclipse, is this the wedding present you gave me?!"
The black-and-white pictures showed her with different men, hugging and in suspicious positions. It was unbearable.
Eclipse held her face, letting out a painful sob. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she shook her head. "Robert, I didn't—"
Robert grabbed her by the neck, squeezing tightly. "Where did these pictures come from? Who are these men?"
Eclipse's face was filled with fear and sadness. "It wasn't me! I can prove it—"
Jessica, in a panic, grabbed Robert's arm and spoke gently. "Robert, what Eclipse said is true. It's my fault."
She turned to Eclipse, her voice soft. "Eclipse, please. It's your wedding day. Don't make a scene."
Eclipse's hands shook as a sharp pain shot through her, making her tremble. She pushed away the hands holding her.
Jessica screamed as she fell to the ground.
"Jessica!"
Mr. Rocelyn rushed forward to help his daughter, glaring at Eclipse. "Eclipse, Jessica has been so good to you! How could you do this? You heartless girl!"
Mrs. Rocelyn trembled with anger. "From now on, Eclipse has nothing to do with the Rocelyn family!"
"I heard the second daughter of the Rocelyn family was shameful, but I didn't think she was this bad," a guest muttered.
"And this is the girl Robert Jade is supposed to marry? How embarrassing!" another whispered.
Robert looked at Eclipse with disgust and anger. "Eclipse!"
Eclipse cried, her tear-filled eyes looking up at him with pain. "Robert, you have to believe me. I didn't push her!"
But Robert's face was full of anger, and the mocking whispers from the crowd made it worse. He slapped her again.
"Get out!"
With a loud thud, Eclipse fell to the ground, looking like a broken doll. Blood started to seep from under her white wedding dress, making the scene even more heartbreaking.
Her once bright eyes slowly lost all their light.
Pain.
A sharp pain spread through her, from her forehead to her whole body.
Eclipse opened her eyes, but all she could see was red. The color made her feel something dark and angry deep inside.
She heard Robert shout angrily, his voice full of hatred. "Eclipse, why don't you just die?!"
Eclipse fought to stay conscious. Her cold, dark eyes scanned the room. But then she felt confused and dizzy.
She was in a fancy hotel, surrounded by flowers and ribbons. The words "Happy Wedding Day" were everywhere, and there were murmurs from the crowd.
Where was she?
She looked down at herself. She was wearing a white wedding dress, stained with blood. It was strange and sad.
Eclipse was shocked. She was getting married?
What was going on?!
Robert stood in front of her, glaring at her with disgust and anger.
"You were with all those men, trying to hurt your own sister to hide your secrets. Eclipse, you're disgusting. I, Robert Jade, swear I'll never marry you, even if I die!"
He ripped the flower from his suit, threw it at her, and stormed off.
Eclipse watched him leave, her mind racing with jumbled memories. Everything was confusing.
She couldn't hold on any longer and passed out.
