It's Time

Lucia takes my arm. She was beside me the whole time and was aware of the situation. "It's alright, Tyler. Just breathe slowly."

"My… my water broke." My eyes go wide because I'm freaked out myself.

"It's alright, you have time." She nods reassuringly. "Sasha, let's get Tyler to the hospital."

The tipsy feeling that Sasha had worn off immediately. He is staring at me like I'm a bomb about to go off. He nods curtly and tuba a phone out of his pocket. "Miles?" he calls on his phone. "Get here quickly. Tyler is in labor."

The whole attention of the crowd turns to me. My face is hot. I'm standing in a pool, stark evidence of what just happened. My abdomen begins to cramp immediately.

"Isn't it too early?" I ask, my voice trembling.

"Babies come whenever they feel like coming," Lucia reassures me.
