CHAPTER 47

Halo got married yesterday. She wore a beautiful blue gown that shone under lights and gave off the impression that she was glowing. She had let a tear drop when she saw her reflection in the mirror. She looked just like her mother, she was beautiful.

The marriage was a small, quiet one with few friends, family members, and three journalists who paid a lot of money to get an invite in attendance. Dominic had walked Halo down the aisle.

''They said it was okay for me to come see you'' he said as he entered the dressing room when she was getting her hair and makeup done. Halo's heart seemed to stop the minute that she saw him. She rose and ran into his arms. Dominic kissed her head and tightened his hold around her.

''I'm so sorry Halo'' he was crying now and didn't mind that over seven other strangers were looking at him. Luckily they had read the room and decided to give the siblings some privacy.

''It's okay Dom. We're going to be okay''
