Eben ran to the empress' palace as fast as possible. When he arrived, he stood before the door waiting for a maid to let her know. He bent down, trying to get his breath back.
When came back, he stood up and followed her in. He entered the living room and bowed.
"Your highness, chancellor Grey, minister."
He would've liked it better if Camilla was the only one here. He's already panicked at the idea of telling her what happened, but now the chancellor and her brother are here.
Camilla asked with an excited smile:
"How did it go?"
Eben looked at her uncomfortably.
Camilla's smile faded.
"What happened? Didn't Drea and Leon go through with the plan?"
When Eben came to tell her about the guards, finally deciding to deal with Caspian, she was over the moon.
She even called Leon and told him to make sure he would suffer. Leon said that he didn't intend to let him go easily. He even texted her that Caspian showed up.
Grey yelled impatiently:
"What happened?"
