Chapter 107

Aina had told Alexander about the meeting with the Hutt Clan and how she turned them away. Alexander was glad that she made that decision. Especially after he heard about their deal of purchasing Military ships and in exchange they will pay for the ships and offer other benefits.

If it was an Ally of his then Alexander might consider, but it was the Hutts who asked. They are known for being powerful and ruthless beings who constantly sought to expand the boundaries of their dominion and the holdings of their individual clans.

And among this Slavery was a big part of their culture as they saw the owning of Slaves as a symbol of status. It was something that has been in Hutt Culture since before the destruction of their Homeworld Varl in 15,000 BBY.

So getting rid of that practice willingly was something that the Hutt's would never do unless they were forced.

Which was something that Alexander was considering to go into Hutt space on a Grand Campaign to liberate all the people who are slaves. But then the Galactic Empire would get involved and Alexander didn't feel like dealing with them yet.

But while He and Aina was talking Padme had walked into his office. She had been on Lehon for the past few weeks and she would occasionally talk with him during his work or help him out. She followed him around throughout the day and had offered good insights to some of the problems that were arising on other planets of the Terran Ascendency.

And when asked why was she following him Padme had just said that she was taking a break from travelling across the Galaxy and wanted to relax but also continue to be useful.

Alexander did not push the issue any further, though he could tell she was not being entirely truthful. However, he let it go and did not mind her deception.

After Padme walked into the office she and Aina had began to talk with each other while Alexander was looking over the design for the Planet Killer Weapon that Cortana had designed. He was debating on whether or not he should use this weapon because of it ability to wipe out an entire planet in a matter of seconds.

Emperor Palpatine was on Coruscant right now and if he built and used this weapon then Trillions of people would die. After thinking about it some more he decided to put it off for now since he didn't want to kill that many people because of one person.

Instead of using a weapon to kill Emperor Palpatine it would be better for himself to handle the matter.

Meanwhile Aina and Padme were off talking in secret to each other on the other side of the his office where he couldn't hear them.

"How's everything going between you and Alexander?" inquired Aina, curious about Padme's relationship.

"I'm not sure. Whenever we're together, I feel so at ease and content. Sometimes, I catch myself staring at him while he's working," explained Padme.

"That sounds like an attraction to me," responded Aina.

"I suppose you're right," sighed Padme, knowing that she did have some kind of attraction towards him.

"Then it's settled. I'll inform my sisters and we can start planning for the Grand Marriage Ceremony," said Aina eagerly, already looking forward to the special day.

Padme spoke, "Also Before the Jedi left, the Jedi Knight named Anakin seemed to be trying to gain my attention, but I ignored him."

Aina asked, "Did you feel any connection to him?"

Padme answered, "No, not at all."

Aina reassured her, saying, "Then don't worry about it. He was probably just drawn to your beauty."

After that, Padme didn't bring up the subject again while Aina went off to inform her sisters that everything was now prepared.

Meanwhile inside of the Unknown Regions there was a conflict brewing between the Grysk Hegemony and the Chiss Ascendency.

The Grysk Hegemony had begun to expand into various planet's in the unknown regions by using an ability that they possessed which allowed them to bend the minds of their subject species to their will, making the subjects willing to serve and die for their overlords.

As such, it only took a few Grysks to turn whole planets to their will. 

And this was a rising problem as the Grysks were rapidly approaching Chiss space and it was bound to be turned into a conflict sooner or later.

The Chiss Ascendency has put their Military on High Alert resulting from this situation. The Chiss already hated the Grysk because of their previous attempt to start a civil war among the Chiss families some time time ago.

An operative from the Grysk had infiltrated the Chiss and was using the rifts between the families of the Chiss Ascendency to start a Civil war in hopes of weakening them so that they could conquer them once it was over.

But that plan was thwarted by Thrawn before he was exiled from the Chiss Ascendency. And after that the Grysk continue to be a threat to the Chiss ever since.

And now the Grysk has been getting more aggressive as of late forcing the Chiss to believe that a war would soon happen between them and the Grysk. The Three Great families of the Chiss had gotten together in order to come up with a solution for the Grysk to avoid the Massive amount of Military losses that they would gain from a head to head war.
