The year was now 301 AC, a year after King Joffrey died along with his grandfather, who was murdered by Tyrion Lannister. Now Tommen was crowned King, but his first months of being crowned were not the best.
Within the first month of his reign, the Faith Militant, which was the military arm of the Faith of the seven, had started spreading throughout the city and winning the common folk's support.
They had grown strong after Queen Cersei started arming them after putting a new High Septon into power. And now that very same High Septon is turning against Cersei and has accused her of sinning and even arrested her, saying that it was in the name of justice.
King Tommen attempted to speak with the High Septon and request that she be released, but at the time that he came to visit the High Septon he was praying, and he wasn't allowed to meet with him and since he was new to being a King he didn't know that he was supposed to use his authority, so he returned to the Red Keep without meeting with the High Septon.
The next day, he tried the same thing and still wasn't able to meet with the High Septon and once again returned to the Red Keep without meeting with him. Tommen was getting a little frustrated and decided to meet with his council about it.
As Tommen was struggling with his new position as King, Maximus back at Winterfell had received a report that some men of the Night's watch were captured trying to set fire to the Wildling Camp. Some Wildlings had already boarded ships and were headed back to Essos where they would be taken to the construction of a new city, which was located on the coast between Pentos and Braavos.
But there were still thousands of Wildlings that were in the camp, and thousands of them could have died from the fire. And it wasn't just the Wildlings that were in the camp, the remaining 8k soldiers that were formerly under Stannis were also there, which means that the men captured not only attempted to kill Wildlings who were under the Emperor's protection but also attempted to kill soldiers under the Emperor's command.
Maximus was too busy dealing with other matters concerning the South, so he sent Daenerys to settle the matter with some guards.
It was at times like this that Maximus was glad that he had lots of talented people who he could send to do things for him, such as dealing with things like men of the Night's watch attacking the Wildling camp.
Daenerys, who also had her servant Missandei who she met after freeing the slaves of Yunkai had set off to Castle Black where the men who attempted to burn the camp were being held.
The first time that Maximus had seen Daenerys with Missandei he figured that it must be fate that brought them together since originally in Canon Daenerys only got her after she killed the Masters of Astapor and took control of the unsullied.
But Maximus was glad, since Missandei had become a good friend and servant to Daenerys, someone that she can trust.
Daenerys had ridden on one of the Great Eagles along with her escort which included a special person and had arrived at Castle black within minutes.
She landed in the Court yard and was greeted by Lord Commander Mormont and Jon Snow.
"Greetings My Lady, where is the Emperor" asked Mormont
"He has sent me in his place to punish those responsible for attempting to kill thousands of innocent people and some of his majesty's soldiers" Said Daenerys
"Then if you would follow me My Lady" Said Mormont as he led Daenerys to the place where the men were being kept.
As Daenerys walked into the building, which appeared to be a dungeon of sorts, she saw 15 people that were in cells.
2 of these people were the same people who were executed by Jon Snow in the Canon story. In one of the cells, there was a bald man who constantly saying how he had friends in Kingslanding. His name was Janos Slynt who in the series was beheaded after he refused to obey Jon's orders.
The next person was Alliser Thorne who had, who in the series was hanged by Jon after he came back to life from being stabbed by men of Night's Watch.
The other 13 people were just random people who shared the same opinion about the Wildlings and wanted to help out.
Daenerys had looked at these 15 people and ordered her guards to bring them to the courtyard.
In the Courtyard the 15 people were together while Daenerys stood in front of them.
"For your crimes that you have committed, I in the name of his Majesty sentence each of you to the Blood Eagle punishment" The special person that came with Daenerys was the person who specialized in doing the Blood Eagle treatment.
The men of the Night's Watch were all gathered around, watching the courtyard, wondering what the blood eagle treatment was. Even the people who were sentenced to the blood eagle treatment wondered what it was.
Since blood eagle treatment is something only the Empire does, the people of Westeros don't know about it.
But once the man started the blood eagle treatment, many threw up just from the first few seconds as the first person's ribs were pulled from his spine. The other people were tied to the ground, so they couldn't even run and had to sit there and wait for the same thing to happen to them.
That day, the entire Castle was filled with screams as the 15 men received the blood eagle treatment, showing the other men of the Watch what happens if you attempt to harm people under the Emperor's protection.
