DrHungr3y:not really. bro, they raped someone just because they were good-looking. they cursed someone for being more good-looking than them. they kill anyone who they don't like. they made disasters on human worlds on just a whim. they get angry if you talk back to them as a mortal. hell, Zeus didn't like Percy Jackson and threatened to destroy the world if he didn't return the bolt that he didn't even have. they don't know anything that is not extreme.
i honestly don't see how Demeter can see this ending positively for her and whoever is in bed with him if it's not her. Even in the actual Mythologies Poseidon is known for his rage and now we have to take into account that this is a guy from the modern era who definitely believes in those modern laws still
I really hope that the author doesn't play around with the concept of RAPE. Our MC is a powerful king with a god killing weapon, if the only consequence of some one RAPING him is slap on the wrist then it show us the readers that (regardless of your future plans for the MC) you have no respect for the character thus giving us no reason to respect him.
Besides being too trusting, he is doing great. His kingdom should be easilly the strongest with so many titans and gods asking for asylum. Not to mention how he is constantly attempting to better himself and now he has a weapon capable of killing even the other gods. I have no doubt he is far stronger then Zeus by now. Not to mention that he should have a good relationship with Odin as he has traded Uru with Asgard. Also being frindly with Hades who is a very good ally to have. Can't wait to see how he goes from here.
Im not saying that rape is right however i want to know the reason before we jump to conclusions . I think we all can agree that zeus was making moves on demeter and if she didnt agree she would be rapped. Fear is a powerful emotion and it causes people to make mistakes they wouldnt usually make. I do think she should be punished however i hope he doesnt take out his anger on his child.
Now that Ares was born, it should not be long before Hephaestus was born as well, and after being thrown out of Olympus, Poseidon could welcome him and thus obtain a great ally but also deprive Olympus of quality weapons by having the Olympian on his side. god of the forge and those who forged their main weapons in the titanomachia.
