We Wouldn't Want That

>Tyler's POV<

Natapos na ang pag-aayos namin. Sinarado lahat ng bintana at hinarangan ang pagpunta sa 2nd floor. We are here right now, Dannie running as fast as she could going to the locked room. Sinusundan namin siya para makakuha ng grenades. Sabi ni Dannie sa amin na matagal nila itong hindi pinupuntahan pero since ito yung main house nila dati bago sila lumipat ng Baguio, binabalikan ito ng tatay niya dahil dito niya mostly tinatago ang kanyang mga weapons tulad ng mga baril niya, grenades at iba pa. Kaso nga lang, hindi lang simple na may lock lang. Pagkabukas mo ng pinto na may lock na mabubuksan gamit ang susi, may isa pang vault na kailangan mabuksan pag alam mo ang code. Ganun ka-secured lahat ng gamit ng tatay ni Dannie.

Nakarating kami sa harap ng kwarto kung nasaan ang mga kagamitan ng tatay ni Dannie. Binuksan niya yung lock tapos nung pagkapasok namin, nakita namin yung vault.

Hinawakan ni Dannie ang lock. "Tyler, pakitingin yung phone at tignan yung code?" Request niya and I looked at Geof's phone. Ngayon lanh binigay ng papa niya ang code since today is a grave emergency.

"7-6-9-7. Clockwise." I said to Dannie and she did it. Although on our 1st try, she couldn't open it.

"Shit." She complained and on her 2nd try, 3rd and 4th because she still couldn't open it.

"Ako na nga!" Sabi ni Isobel and she bumped Dannie away and she rolled her eyes at her.

"7-6-9-7, di ba?" She asked to make things clearer for her.

"Oo." Sabi ni Geof and he kept his phone in his pocket and in Isobel's 1st try, she was able to open the lock easily and before our eyes could even see it.

4 big boxes of bullets with the sign, "DON'T TOUCH!" and 2 big boxes of grenades, with a sign painted in red, "CAUTION: DANGER!" And with our findings, tinignan namin ang isa't-isa with a smile. Nahanap na namin ang mga kailangan namin para sa gagawin namin in fighting off the zombies. Kailangan namin bilisan. Soon enough, they might envade us and we will become one of their undead army.

"Paano natin ito mabubuksan?" tanong ni Dannie and she hugged herself. "Nakakatakot. Mamaya, biglang sasabog," sabi niya and by what she said, we were kind of nervous because the thought of grenades exploding would be sudden death. It will kill us, and the zombies together.

We wouldn't want that.

We searched the room and my eyes were fixed on the knife that I saw on the corner. "Why not use this?" I asked and I got the knife and they looked at me. "Yung sides lang bubuksan natin. Wag lang masyadong deep ang cut. Mamaya, matamaan ang grenade sa loob." I added and they nodded at me.

"Wag akong gagawa, ha! Mamamatay tayong lahat pag ako." sabi ni Isobel and we all looked at Geof.

"No thanks." he said and we all sighed. Kailangan kasi namin magmadali. Or else... We'll be invaded by zombies.

"Let me try." I said and then I made a scratch on four sides of the box. I made a straight line in each side for me to open them more easily.

My heart was beating faster. I had to cut them through a bit deep, but I have to be careful. Mamaya matamaan ko yung granada mismo at sasabog ito bigla. Ayaw ko ng ganun. Nakakapanic naman. Ako pa ang may kasalanab kung lahat kami madi-disgrasya rito.

As I was opening it, I felt the tip of the knife, hitting the body of the grenade. I pulled away quickly the knife and I took a deep breath, and so did my companions. Nakakakaba kasi. One wrong move, and we're dead.

A few minutes passed tapos nabuksan ko na. Lahat kami nag-sigh in relief tapos kumuha na kami ng apat na granada at tinago sa bag ni Isobel para maitaas namin ito sa rooftop at papunta na kami sa tatay ni Dannie para makipaglaban. Pagkalabas namin, agad namin ni-lock ang pintuan para hindi ito mapasukan. Pero sino naman papasok dito? Eh, may mga zombies naman? Well, we need to make sure. Malay mo, pag wala na kami dito, may mga group of people na lumalakbay din, ma-ambush itong bahay na ito.
