Chapter 1The Magic Shop

----On a vacant street in Seoul----

" Did we lose them?" A voice whispered.

Jimin turned his head and grinned, showing off his teeth and smiling eyes. " Although they were kind of extreme, they were also so cute. "

" Those noonas were scary." Jungkook looked behind him in fear as he panted with exhaustion. His oversized black t-shirt only made him feel hotter.

" I think we did… *sigh*... Sometimes, my World Wide Handsome face sure can bring some problems." Jin patted his shiny silver hair in helplessness. His head was beaded with sweat.

Silence.

" Narcissist." Yoongi's eyes drilled through his hyung. He wore a simple yet fashionable set of monochrome clothing and had a black mask tucked beneath his chin.

" Actually, I think it wasn't your face; it's Namjoon's weird coat. The color is so bright that it's hurting my eyes, and matched with that pair of shorts…?" Hoseok criticized teasingly. Today was one of those days where he put maximum effort into styling his clothes and RM couldn't find a way to retort.

" Enough," RM's eyes glazed over the surrounding area. " I've never been to this part of Seoul before. Where are we?"

" I dunno… There's a really bright light coming further down the street. I think it's probably a store of some sort. Wanna go ask the owner?" Taehyung scrunched his eyebrows together.

Jungkook located the store and whined," Aishhh, It's so far away though… My legs are killing me."

Yoongi glanced at him in disdain. " That's what you get for refusing to leave the couch for 2 months." He zoomed away without looking back.

One by one, the members left. Jimin laughed, Tae waved, Jin blew him a kiss, Jhope danced, and RM patted him on the back.

Jungkook pouted, and chased after them " I'm the beloved maknae, how dare you leave me behind?!"

---------------------------

Upon arriving at the entrance, Yoongi stopped in his tracks.

Although the store had a glass door and yellow light was spilling over the door, one couldn't see anything clearly beyond that door. The metallic handle was covered in dust, and the windows were boarded up by wooden planks. Graffiti was scribbled all over the walls. Besides the floor that was illuminated by the glass door, everything else was as if covered by a shadow. The street looked especially gloomy since it was almost dusk.

Jimin spoke, "This looks kind of shady, doesn't it?"

Yoongi yelped. "Yah! You scared me, bro. I almost had a heart attack."

Jimin smirked, "What's so scary? We are here to protect you hyung." He motioned with his head to the other 5 members.

"But honestly, it does look kind of scary. But it's okay, there's 7 of us here. Nothing could go wrong... right?" RM said, looking at everyone.

"Just open the door already, the more you talk, the more creepy this place seems!" Hoseok complained.

RM walked to the entrance and twisted the handle to open the door.

It seemed mythical. The little store was completely different from how it looked outside. The furnishings were a little antique and the atmosphere felt warm and bright. The store was filled with aisles that were filled with different little trinkets and majestic toys that seemed timeless. By the cashier sat an old man with a head full of white hair and numerous wrinkles that proved true his experiences and age. His eyes were deep and full of wisdom and intelligence.

The 7 boys were fascinated by the store and were put into a daze.

Jin, who was the first one to wake, walked over to the old man and politely asked, "Can you please tell me what street this is, sir?"

The old man briefly glanced at Jimin who was approaching a music box and then turned back to Jin. He touched his ears and then shook his head. He was deaf.

Suga, RM, Jhope, V, Jin, and Jungkook who had surrounded the old man by this time, were surprised but had also expected it.

While the group fumbled around looking for a piece of paper and a pen, Jimin was still immersed in the music box. From the moment he entered the store, his attention had been stolen by it. It was a truly beautiful thing.

Jimin reached out to open it. He had anticipated a piece of beautiful music; but instead, even though the ballerina figurine was moving, no sound could be heard.

Strange.

Jimin looked around, and caught the old man staring at him; they made eye contact. It felt uncomfortable, as if the old man's eyes could see through his deepest secrets. Instead, Jimin looked towards the door, where sunlight was spilling in through the glass.

He was ready to close the weird music box when suddenly, he whipped his head back to the door. The sunlight was spilling through the glass?! Wasn't it just dusk before? He ran towards the door.

Agitated, Jimin called to the other members, "Guys, look at the door! There's sunlight! "

Confused, the other 6 members turned to the door and their mouths dropped in amazement. Jimin pushed open the door with shaking hands.

The following sight had him in shock.

Instead of the vacant alley the 7 BTS members walked through, the scene shown was of a bustling city. Tall skyscrapers touched the clouds while millions of people roamed the streets, some flying with artificial wings and others with blue projections surrounding their heads.

What in the world happened?!

When Jimin turned around to look at the old man for answers, the man was gone.
