#3 Is this the end?

"Hiroto decides to search every room and get as much stuff as he can. When Hiroto opened the door to leave a room, the angel monster was right there and saw him. They both stood still in disbelief, and then the monster said, 'Why hello there,' in a freakish tone that instantly made Hiroto close the door and book it for the vent, despite the tentacle monster being in there. Now Hiroto is rushing through the vents, making very loud noises. But it was alright since the monster in the vent should be all the way back there, away from him. However, he was wrong; something loud and very fast was coming. The moment Hiroto looked back, he saw it coming at him with a speed he cannot believe. Hiroto immediately got out of the vent into a random room that was completely empty.

Luckily, he spotted a weird tile that looked barely noticeable on the floor. So Hiroto decided to open it very quickly, then hop in and close it quickly right before the monster came in. Hiroto had no idea where he was, and it was completely dark. It seemed like he lost his flashlight somewhere when he was crawling in the vents. But luckily, he had his phone, which he used as a flashlight. In that room, he saw strange writing in a language that wasn't even human. Hiroto was sure of it. He also saw a purple flame that was very relaxing—a calm fire, or at least it looked like it. Hiroto was put in a trance and slowly walked to it, picked it up. The flame felt cold, and upon feeling it, Hiroto snapped out of the trance and tried to put it down. However, the supposed flame latched onto him and devoured his whole body. Just like that, Hiroto thought his life was over.

Now Hiroto is in complete darkness once again, even with his phone flashlight on. He starts to lose consciousness, and everything goes blank. Hiroto wakes up to find that his phone is dead, but he can still see everything as if the room is completely lit. He then looks at the writing and understands it. He can even speak it fluently. He knows information he had never seen or heard before. Hiroto is confused, but then again not. However, he now knows that the flames he saw were an aura and a power that gifted him with great senses and knowledge of how he could use his power. Alongside that, he has information about the world, the galaxy, and the realm of the gods. The only thing is, Hiroto knows about them, but then again, he doesn't. Every time he tries to focus on this information, his head hurts. But he still knows and understands an unknown language and his powers without his head hurting. So Hiroto just focuses on his knowledge about his powers since he has no use for a language that he doesn't even know the name of. Hiroto's powers are pretty OP (overpowered). He thinks to himself, 'I really got an OP power. I can devour anything and take its abilities. The only bad thing is I have to make sure it is not alive to devour it. Well, it's still good. While I don't know how to kill those monsters, I will find a way. I have to get as much strength as I can. Even if I am not human anymore, I swear I will kill that goddamn devil. It is not funny to play with human lives like this.'

Hiroto goes back to the empty room to find the door broken and all the walls cracked. One wall has a slightly deep hole in it. It looks like an earthquake happened. Regardless of that, Hiroto looks at his map and sees two new things: the floor level and the max floor level (1/13) along with two purple dots appearing. Hiroto sees a purple dot coming near where he was, so he decides to hide next to the door at the side and lean a little to see. It turns out to be a Cambion, which is what they call a transformed human. Hiroto decides to name this one Delmon for short, for 'delusional demon,' and the other Cambion with tentacles Curseacle. Delmon passes by without noticing him, relieving Hiroto. But then he thinks about another monster written in the devil's letter. However, John did say that not everything the devil says is true, so Hiroto decides not to worry about it since it only shows two purple dots.

First fight!

The map shows that the coast is clear, so Hiroto goes out of the room into the next room. Just before he enters, he hears choking noises but ignores them and walks in. However, as he walks in, he is attacked by a monster he didn't see before. The thing wraps around his legs, disabling Hiroto from running away. Luckily, Hiroto had the knife he found placed in a way that it is easily accessible. So Hiroto grabs the knife and cuts off the limb that grabbed him. Hiroto is trapped in the room with it as it drags him in and blocks the way out before Hiroto can cut it. He gets to see the Cambion fully. It looks like a spider with multiple legs, but it is small, like strings, and very flexible. The Cambion limb that had been cut off regrows ten seconds after it had been cut off. Hiroto is in shock, but he can't stay still for too long as it keeps going at him. Each time it tries to hit Hiroto, it aims for a vital spot. The attack from the Cambion leaves small holes in the floor. Hiroto tries to cut some of the limbs, but they keep regrowing. So Hiroto thinks about the core of it. The Cambion must have a core that will kill it if broken. Hiroto thinks of ways to approach it, but every time he tries to get close, the Cambion moves at a faster rate, swinging its limbs around. Hiroto decides to see how UV lights affect them. So he flashes the Cambion with UV light, and it slows down enough for Hiroto to get past its defenses and strike the ball-shaped body. It truly is like a spider. Hiroto uses his dark purple aura to devour the Cambion and gain the power of regeneration and the knowledge it holds. However, there isn't much information about the place he is in now. But he does gain information about weak spots and vital points. Hiroto decides to call his power shadow magic. It fits the description. After all, it's pitch black and very cold. For some reason, the cold gives a sensation as if it is warm, and this sounds very shadow-like to him.

Hiroto searched the room and found some additional food and a drink. He drank it and proceeded to the next room, which was connected by a door in the current room. In that room, he discovered a key and a strange, dull diamond-like object. Hiroto would typically consider it useless, but he couldn't shake off his curiosity about why it was dull. He decided to take the key and diamond with him as he left both rooms.

As Hiroto continued his exploration, he encountered Curseacle slowly walking down the halls. He briefly contemplated fighting it but ultimately chose not to, unsure of its strength. He considered using fire to defeat Curseacle, perhaps in conjunction with Delmon. However, Hiroto recalled that John mentioned Curseacle's weakness, which is its limited duration outside of the vent. He speculated that trapping Curseacle outside of the vent might be the key to killing it. For now, Hiroto retreated back into the room and concealed himself near the door, prepared in case Curseacle entered the room and discovered him.

Curseacle name is suppose to sound like Cures-A-cool and Delmon as Dell-mon but mon as in pokemon
