Maya Foundation

Jayne herself consoled her mother. "Mama! Stop it! You know I've been leading a great life with Ronnie and you guys. Where am I suffering here?" She teased her.

"Yes I agree, I was a little worried about not getting pregnant. Especially after seeing that two of my friends have got pregnant. But then, I realised that nature takes its own course. We will wait for the right time." She assured her mother and everyone else.

Ronnie thanked Dr Henry Thomas for helping him in this.

The next day, Ronnie woke up before Jayne and got ready. He didn't want to wake his wife as she was very tired after their previous night's intense activities. He pulled out a chair and sat next to the bed reading the newspaper. He waited for his sleeping beauty to wake up.

Jayne sensed that Ronnie was missing in the bed. She woke up with a jolt, "Ron!"

Ronnie immediately lurched forward and hugged her. "Honey! I'm right here! Are you alright?"

She looked at her husband and buried her head in his chest. "Why have you woken up so early Ron? It scared me! Plus, you're all dressed up?" She looked up at him.

Ronnie was dressed in a brown casual trouser with a white linen shirt. His casual look was breathtakingly charming.

Ronnie smiled, "Surprise! I'm taking you somewhere. Get ready soon honey!"

"Ronnie but you can't be going out like this. Plus, I've to attend my classes."she frowned.

"It's alright honey! I've already applied for your leave. Ms Jessica Parker has approved it as well! Ronnie beamed.

"As for me, I'm totally fine now. In fact, I thought of going back to work today. But then, I've another important work remaining. So, get up baby!" He dragged her out of the bed. "If you want, I can even bathe you honey." Ronnie offered with sincerity in his eyes.

"Thanks honey! But no!" She instantly closed the door before Ronnie could react and giggled

Casually dressed in a white blouse with brown skinny jeans and scarf round her neck, she walked out of the dressing room.

Ronnie was pleasantly surprised at their matching outfits. He strode towards her and kissed her. "Let's go honey!"

"Just a minute honey!" Jayne picked up both of their jackets and sunglasses. She also carried the Mickey-Mouse backpack her dad had bought recently. She excitedly held on to Ronnie's hands and the couple headed downstairs.

They had breakfast with everyone and headed out.

Daniel West was already waiting for them. "Good morning Boss, Madam!" He greeted them and held the car door open for them to get in.

Daniel West drove towards the outskirts of the city. "Where are we going Ron?" Jayne was confused.

"We're almost there honey! Hold on!" Ronnie smiled.

Daniel West then took a right turn and headed inside a building. The board displayed outside the building left Jayne speechless.

"MAYA FOUNDATION"

Ronnie began explaining to Jayne, "Jayne, this is an orphanage run by our Maya Foundation. I've started a charitable trust which runs old age homes, schools for the under-privileged, orphanage, women help centres and more. This building here is an orphanage." He explained.

Jayne didn't speak a word. She simply hugged him as her eyes began welling up. Such noble works were being done under her name, Maya. She was so touched by what Ronnie did for her.

Ronnie and Jayne alighted from the car. The caretakers, management staff and all the children at the orphanage came to greet them.

Jayne was especially touched on seeing such cute little kids around her. She picked up a chubby little girl and kissed her. The kids were clinging on to Jayne. They proceeded towards the office area.

Jayne didn't notice that Ronnie had another car following them. It was full of chocolates, toys, clothes and gifts for the children. The management staff brought them in and began distributing them amongst the children.

Later, the children happily went back to playing with their new toys.

While Ronnie was talking to the officials, Jayne was standing at the edge of the playground and watched the kids. Her heart filled with an unknown joy. She felt extremely contented at the moment.

But then she also thought, 'How I wish we had at least one such bundle of joy with us always! How unlucky are their parents to have missed such joyous bundles of happiness! And, here I'm wishing for just one baby!'

Ronnie gazed at his wife. The rare smile on her face couldn't amount to even if he'd bought her a billion rupees worth gift.

Truth be told, Ronnie didn't know about Jayne's love for kids until he accidentally stumbled upon her diary yet again.
