Chapter 23- Meeting, John vs Blaze

All of John's teammates are in the living room and they are about to hold a meeting. All of his teammates are in a round table with enough space for all of them to fit in. They all sat in their respective chairs and John's teammates are waiting for his command.

"We will now commence our meeting!", John informs all of his teammates.

"As you all know, we are currently lacking in manpower and we also don't have any evolvers except for us. So if we want to hold raids like for food or materials then we are lacking in manpower hence it will slow our progress in our evolution.", John says.

"So that's why you picked up and helped all of those survivors just so they can help us in obtaining materials.", Blaze says.

"So are the survivors that I had saved are willing to aid us in our works?", John asks Harry.

"You don't have to worry about that. All of them are willing to help us but they asked one condition and that is to not let the girls in their group join the raids.", Harry answers John and assures him.

"I'm okay with that condition but they do know that the girls still have jobs like cleaning the house or doing chores, right?", John asks Harry.

"All of the girls in their team are aware of that and they are okay with that. The males in their group are willing to train with our teammates so that they can learn on how to defend themselves so that they can work efficiently when they will do their raids.", Harry answers John's question.

"Good", John praises Harry for doing his task well.

"Now what are your progression in your evolutions?", John asks his teammates.

"Umm...", Rick says.

"Well you see...", Steve says.

"We still haven't...", Aqua says.

"Spit it out! Don't keep me wandering about your evolution ranks. If you still haven't improve then we will have our usual training." John informs to all of his teammates.

"Stop acting like we didn't improve.", Blaze says to all of his teammates except for John.

"All of us have reached Tier 5 A Class Warrior Rank! What? Are you scared dear leader? You still haven't reached A Class and you are still only a Tier 5 B Class Warrior Rank.", Blaze brags and taunts John about their evolution.

"Looks like you are the only one who needs to train!", Blaze added.

"Blaze, Where did you get that much ego to brag infront of me and not to mention you are even taunting me. Are you asking for a beating?", John asks Blaze about his new profound ego and threatens Blaze for taunting him.

"Oh I am! I'm willing to beat you up for the harsh trainings you have done! Are you willing to accept my challenge.", Blaze replies to John.

The surrounding temperature starts to rise.

Green flames starts to appear from Blaze's hand. Blaze gathers all of the green flames in his right hand forming a ball of green flame.

"Your are no match for me in your current state. Not to mention that my flames have evolved into a green flame instead of the ordinary orange flame. The strength of my flames can even burn the hardest metal in mere seconds.", Blaze says to John.

'Blaze is indeed right. His flames are more powerful than the previous one. Looks like being beaten by a bunch of girls left a scar on his pride which made him determined to get stronger. He is also right that I can't defeat him in my current state.'

'But I still didn't lifted the suppression I used to hide my real evolution rank. Looks like Blaze is up for a beating.'

"Okay! I accept your challenge. The loser has to obey what the winner wants the loser to do.", John accepts Blaze's challenge.

"Good! Let's head to the backyard!", Blaze says.

"I thought we were going to hold a meeting? Why a duel?", Henry asks John and Blaze for the sudden turn of events.

"Forget about the meeting. I need to teach blaze a lesson or he will remain arrogant.", John says.

John and Blaze went to the backyard to make it as a place for their duel. The two of them aren't nervous but excited to defeat each other.

The rest of his teammates are following them to witness the battle between the two of them. They also brought their chairs to their backyard so that they can watch their battle comfortably.

John and Blaze are doing their fighting stance for preperation.

Blaze starts to gather green flames in his hand and forms it into a sword.

John removes the suppression in his evolution and adjusts it into a Tier 6 S Class Warrior Rank evolution.

John gathers purple flames in his and also forms it into a sword just like what Blaze did but Blaze and his teammates knew that it was stronger compared to Blaze's flame sword.

"I'm doomed...", Blaze mutters to himself.

"You shouldn't have underestimated your leader! I wasn't staying idle and I trained myself to obtain a higher evolution rank.", John says to Blaze.

John executes a sword stance that is going to launch a slash in his target. John slashes his purple flame sword towards Blaze while staying in his position.

[Energy Manipulation- Fire Manipulation- Purple Flame Sword Slash]! John yelled when he launched the sword slash.

"I concede defeat!" Blaze yells and he admits defeat as he know that he isn't John's match.

John disperses his purple flame sword slash after hearing what Blaze said.

"Good thing that you know your limits! But next time don't fight someone you're sure that you can't defeat. That's just pure foolishness!", John advices Blaze.

"Don't forget about our deal.", John added.

"What do you want me to do?", Blaze asks John.

"Help Henry to manage the team because I'm going to collect some supplies since we are running out of food.", John commands Blaze.

"I'll do it!", Blaze says to John.

"Good! I'll be going now! Bye!", John bade goodbye to his teammates as he is going to collect some supplies.

John went outside the mansion and is now roaming around the streets.
