Chapter 22- Tempering One's Body

"Better cook my favorite dish or I won't listen to you!", Blaze threatens John, hoping John would comply to his request.

"Who am I? Your d*mn cook?! Cook your own food. You are already a teenager now. Don't act like a 6-year-old.",  John replies to Blaze threat.

"Okay, okay!", Blaze responds to John.

Harry is pointing at the bodies that John brought and ask, "By the way, what's up with the bodies? If I'm not wrong then they are all human."

"Why humans? I thought we are having beef for today? Are we doing cannibalism now?", Steve asks John.

"Cannibalism my *ss! I dare you to eat humans and tell me how delicious it is!", John replies to Steve's question.

"My bad.... So what are we going to do with it now?", Steve apologizes and says to John.

"I'm planning on hiring them as our servants and laborers. We are lacking manpower" Says John.

In fact, I don't think we can manage the whole mansion with only a few of us and some of my other teammates don't have that much experience in manual labor.

It would be foolish for us to think that we can manage a whole mansion which almost compares to a large park in terms of area.

"Just leave the rest to me. I will handle them when they wake up and I will tell them about their new job.", Harry says.

"I'll leave the rest to you. I hope our plan on reaching the second phase of the apocalypse without any casualties become successful or else our preparations will all be in vain."

"Before I forget to ask, what will we do if they resist and will disobey our commands?", Harry asks for clarification.

"Just lock them up in 'The Secret Room'. I will handle them afterwards. I will enter my room so you handle it yourself.  Don't disturb me unless I will leave my room for I need to improve my evolution as I have reached the bottleneck of my evolution rank.", John replies to Harry's question and warns him.

"Understood! I will inform all of our teammates to not disturb you so that you can further improve your evolution. I will also heed your warning. I also know where 'The Secret Room' is so you don't have to remind me.", Harry assures John and heeda his warning.

"Good luck on your work and I hope you all do an excellent job and please remind all of our teammates to improve their evolution as I find it lacking. I can even knock them out with just a flick of my finger(well of course since I'm in god class rank. If I do engage in fight with all of my teammates then the outcome will turn into a one sided massacre with me getting the upper hand.) And please don't forget to remind them of the consequences of not listening to  my 'friendly requests'.", John says to Harry while mocking and threatening his other teammates.

"I won't forget it.", Harry replies to John.

"Good.", John says to Harry.

After my conversation with Harry, I head towards my room and go in there to start my meditating.

As I sit on the ground and do a meditation stance, I start to control all of the viral energy in my body, circulate my viral energy inside my body to get used to it and start to temper my body by breaking my muscle bit by bit and regenerating it whenever my muscle breaks.

By doing this process of tempering my body, my previous muscles will be replaced by the regenerated muscles which are infused with the virus, further improving my muscles.

It was a technique that I invented which was inspired by chinese cultivation comics where they refine their bodies using fires and all sorts but in my situation I use the virus to refine my body.

I often experience pain when my muscles tears up and breaks but it was nothing compared to the process when I broke all of my bones when I replaced all of it with virus infused tempered bones which was a lot more sturdier than the world's hardest metal.

After doing the process of tempering my muscles for at least an hour, I feel both tired and satisfied with the result of my training.

The only process left is to evolve my blood, harden my skin and temper my bones.

Even though all of the remaing processes will leave me in a lot of pain but nevertheless I still need to do it to attain power.

The reason why I only attained Tier 8 Demi God Class warrior rank is because I transferred all of the virus that I obtained into my virus ring which let's me store viral energy.

If I didn't transfer most of my viral energy, I would have attain an evolution rank beyond god class but I didn't do so because my time was running out.

I stored all of the viral energy which I accumulated from my previous 20 lives into my ring.

I took out the virus ring which looks like an ordinary jade ring with golden stripes and embellishments which some may say as a not -so-ordinary ring as it can be deemed as something valuable just by looking at its exquisite design.

I wasn't expecting to accumulate a large amount of viral energy that can help me reach beyond the known evolution rank. [Author's Note: The known evolution rank are F class warrior rank as the lowest rank while God class warrior rank as the highest rank.]

With this virus ring, I might reach Beyond God Rank in just a week. But I still need to wait for the second phase of the apocalypse to occur or I will exude too much viral energy that might harm the whole world.

Looks like I need to go to my teammates and personally train them so that they won't slack of in their training.

I went out of the room and headed towards to living room to meet up with my teammates.

"All of you! Be here this instant because we will hold an important meeting and the outcome of our meeting will determine our next move!!!", John shouts as loud as he can to inform all of his teammates.

My shout reverberated across the whole room which all of my teammates heard so all of them gathered in the living room.

"We will now commence our meeting." John informs all of his teammates.

It has been a month and some weeks in my last update and I was working to improve my writing skills but I barely improved so I made a new episode to test if I have improved or not.
