Chapter 21- God Class Zombie

The zombie suddenly launch fireballs towards me. It was not your ordinary fireballs since its from a God rank zombie.

I sprinted towards the zombie, activating a defensive barrier around me to defend from incoming attacks.

I dodged some of its attacks but I didn't avoid some so it hit my barrier, the fireballs exploded which shook my barrier a little but since I'm on par with the zombie, it was nothing more than a normal fireball.

The zombie strikes me with electricity but it was defended by my barrier. I counterattack by slashing the zombie using my sword but it only left a scar on the zombie.

Even though the zombie has hyper regeneration, it can't regenerate since it's one of the effect of my sword which can nullify any healing and regeneration.

I jump towards the zombie, launching a series of slashes and stabs on the zombie but some of my attacks was either blocked or dodged. Since this was getting me nowhere, I used my third ability which is [viral absorption].

I absorbed the virus from the zombie, reducing it's rank to Demi god class rank. Since I absorbed a lot of viral energy, it made me reach the bottleneck of God class warrior rank and it also helped me reach Tier 10.

In addition to that, my viral energy drastically increased, which is enough form me to reach Beyond God Class rank if I take some pills that can help enhance my evolution.

I hack the zombie's arm which then fall and seperated from it's body. The zombie is now weak af for me since it's rank decreased.

I do some barrages of cuts, slashes and stabs towards the zombie which I then decapitate its head off.

After that, I collected it's zombie core and stored it on my storage ring. This is the 100th God class zombie core that I collected.

It is enough for me to reach Ascended God class rank. But if I reach Ascended God class rank, I wouldn't have further evolutions unless it's the fourth phase of the apocalypse.

It would take me so much viral energy just to reach Ascended God class rank and I also need to absorb a lot of viral energy when we reach the fourth phase of the apocalypse.

I left the scene of the dead zombie lying on the ground. When I reached the barrier, it immediately dispersed which lets me get out of it, must be the doing of the God.

""Oh that was fast! I didn't expected that you can kill that!"" Says someone.

'Enough of your cr*p! Tell me why you are still here! Your job here is done!'

""I was here just to give you your reward but since you don't want to then bye!"" Says someone.

'You should have said that! Now tell me who sent you! I don't believe that you're just here to take care of it since you already know that I have the ability to kill it!'

""As expected from someone who has my master's interests. He told me to travel here just to give you this."" Says someone while tossing an item to John.

'What's this? I don't need a freaking armor to protect me since I already have a barrier!'

""Don't compare that to your sh*tty barrier! This is what you call a plot armor. You forgot to equip this so my master was concerned about your deaths."" Says someone.

'So that's why I keep dying. It makes sense since I'm someone powerful yet there's still someone who can defeat me. I keep having series of misfortunes that there was even a time were a building fall of and I was crushed by it and I died. That was a bad way to die.'

""Since my job here is done, I'll be going now! Better suppress your evolution for now since I'm not going to be here to prevent your viral energy from spreading. I also suggest you to not kill your enemies since it will be boring for our readers. Bye! and remember that you won't die anymore but it doesn't mean that your teammates won't!"" Says someone.

After several minutes I can't feel the presence of the God neither heard it's voice. I felt relieved that I have the power to save my teammates out of danger.

I don't know what I'm going to do now. There's only three things that I might or should do.

1. Find Raphina and my parents since I can still detect their life energy which means their alive. In addition to that, I noticed that my father had already made breakthrough and became a Tier 3 C class warrior. Even though it's weak for me but it is enough to deal with troublesome zombies and not to mention it can help to protect my mother.

2. I will help the survivors that passed out right now since the god uses a sleeping ability to make them fall into slumber. Maybe I'll drag them to my house and make them become my servants and it seems that one of them is a butler so I'll just hire him.

3. Train until my teammates reach A class warrior which is the maximum evolution during the first phase of the apocalypse. But if I do that right now, some of them might be furious because if it so I might let them slack off a little so they can rest.

With that list of choices that I can do, I decided that I would do all of it since it will be beneficial for me and my teammates. With that being said, I drag the corpses(passed out bodies of the survivors) towards my mansion until I reached the gate of the mansion where I piled up the bodies.

There were some of their teammates that has a beauty with them. Even though they were beautiful, I still wasn't captivated since I'm someone with high taste and I already have a girlfriend, which is Sherrie.

She has a crush on me since we were in our elementary but I didn't know since I was ignorant. What's worse is that I was not the one who confessed my feelings but her instead. It was such a humiliation for a man like me but I still was happy that she felt the same thing as I do. Enough of that.

I was infront of the gate besides a pile of bodies that if someone was here, they could have misunderstood that I was some sort of martial artist who defeated some challengers.

"I'm back! I got some good news and bad news for you! Get the heck out of here and if you won't, you won't get your share of our dinner today!" I shout while threatening my teammates. I did this since it works all the time.

"I'm coming! Don't you dare make us starve!" Says Blaze.

"Well better hurry or you won't get dinner!" I shouted.
