Chapter 13- Scavenging For Zombie Core

It's already day time.

We woke up and saw Mark, Aqua and Sherrie still lying on their bed with eye bugs below their eyes.

It took them overnight to repair the mansion. Looks like they haven't slept much so they still haven't woken up yet.

I can hear Mark snoring loudly as if he was using a speaker whenever he snores.

If it wasn't for him repairing the mansion, I would have made him sleep outside. His snores are already annoying to the extent that I want to kick him out.

But since he contributed on repairing the mansion especially finding the minerals to make cement, I will reward him later with an artifact to make his tier increase by one.

I can also give him a weapon like his hammer called "Earth shaker" but since it's an immortal rank artifact, he can't use it for the time being unless he will reach the mythical class warrior rank.

He can atleast reach immortal class at the fifth phase of the apocalypse.

The apocalypse has phases which consists of six phases.

I'll explain that later.

For now, I think I'm going to demonstrate my new ability.

I obtained this when I got a demigod rank artifact.

When you reach demigod rank, you can obtain a new ability IF you can develop and make a new ability yourself.

Like what I did with my second ability.

I found a demigod rank artifacts which is a scroll that contains knowledge on how develop a new ability when you reach demigod class warrior rank.

I still have my scroll with me so I developed my second ability which is a lot faster than my previous life.

I'm now at tier 5 B class warrior rank (I broke through when I was sleeping it's possible if you can control your viral energy while consuming B class zombie cores) .

I can now stop time, skip time, reverse (rewind) time.

I search my storage ring to see if I'm out of zombie cores.

Looks like I'm right, since I consumes all zombie cores below rank A.

I only have zombie cores of a rank A zombie.

Time to farm some zombie core.

I get up my bed, stretch, and I head to the kitchen to make breakfast.

I activated my ability and snapped my finger and then cooked food are now placed neatly on the kitchen table.

I called my teammates to have breakfast with me and we all sat on our chairs to eat our breakfast with each other.

"So guys we ran out of zombie cores" I said to my teammates while biting and eating fried chicken.

"How about we go out of the mansion to kill zombies and get their cores. If we're lucky, we might even get some artifacts to reinforce our house since we don't have any because John confiscated all of them." Says Mark while glaring at me.

"Yeah! We don't have any artifact left on our storage ring since a certain someone confiscated it!" Says Blaze while glaring at me.

After Blaze said that, Mark and Blaze glared at me and it was followed by every one of my teammates glaring at me as if they see an enemy.

"Give me back my research materials or I'll make you blind for the rest of your life " Says Light while gathering some light at his palm, doing a stance that somehow shows that the gathered light will be thrown directly at my eyes.

"Try me!" I said while stepping out of my chair, taunting Light to hit me if he can.

"Of course I will!" As Light said that, he throws the gathered light on his palm directly at my eyes.

[Time Stop]

As I said that, time stop and I can see Light while frozen in stopped time.

Being arrogant gets you nowhere light.

As I said that, I punched Light's stomach.

Time will begin to move again.

Light suddenly felt a strong impact on his stomach which made him hit the wall.

He was holding his stomach which indicates that his in pain.

Raphina quickly went to where Light was so that she can heal Light's wound on his stomach.

"Being arrogant gets you know where Light." I said while looking at Light's pathetic state.

"Tch! Your arrogant also so what's the difference if I am also arrogant!?" Says Light while clicking his tongue.

"I'm arrogant because I have the strength to back it up while you do not!" I said while I gathered some light on my palm which somehow shocked Light.

"You... You already have your second ability?!" Says Light while his face is expressing some fear on it.

"Of course... You wouldn't believe if you didn't witness it, right?" I said while making the light on my hand disperse.

"You're always full of surprises, you know that!" Says Harry while teleporting besides me.

"Yeah, and so do you!" I said while teleporting besides Raphina but somehow it didn't work out as I expected it to be because I was teleported outside the mansion.

"Space is really hard to understand." I muttered to myself while activating teleport again but I was teleported on the roof of the mansion.

"Hey! Harry! How do you use teleport because even though I have lots of knowledge, It's still hard for me to comprehend the laws of space which is why I can't teleport successfully!" I yelled while I'm on the roof on the mansion, making it echo through out the entire mansion.

"You need to visualize where you're going to be teleported to!" Yelled Harry so that I can hear him.

"I forgot about that!" I yelled while visualizing the destination of the place I'm going to teleport to.

My teleport is successful since I successfully arrived at the Kitchen where my teammates gathered around me as if they were waiting for me.

"So are we going to farm zombie cores or not?" Says Skye while staring at me.

"Yes. Where also out of stock so I need to gather some supplies." I replied to Skye.

"That settles it then. I'm heading to gather some zombie cores while John will gather some supplies." Says Harry.

All of us agreed with it.

I checked my life saving artifacts to make sure I won't die again if I met some unexpected dangers.

I left the mansion and head out to the nearest mall.
