Sir?? Are you ok?" Rebecca says. She kneels to check on his wound when she notices a huge bloody wound mix with a dark substance in his stomach.

She rips apart her clothes and starts to clean the wound so she can heal him .the characteristic of her light magic make her heal wounds. But his wound is rejecting the healing process which makes her very confused.

"REBECCA!!!!"

Rebecca hears Ron's voice scream her name.

"AM HERE!!"

Rebecca says while wavering to him. When Ron comes to her .he notices the man laying on the ground unconscious.

"Who is this ???"

" I don't know, I saw him falling from the sky "

Ron looks at her in confusion ." are you sure???"

"Yes, let take him to the inn to cover his wound "

Rebecca says and starts to get up and try to pull his body before Ron stops her.

"Wait Rebecca, if he falls from the sky like you say then that means he is not from this realm. It would be dangerous for us to just take him... "

"Don't tell me, you want me to leave him here wounded???!!".

Rebecca says to Ron in anger. Ron looks at her before he sighs and helps her lift him to his house since it is dangerous to keep him in Rebecca's room in the inn.

Ron looks at the wounded man in deep thought about who is he and the fact that he broke the rules of the gatekeepers.

"It's late, you better go back Rebecca " Ron say .then sat at the table.

" huh, but..I...."

"Rebecca!!" Ron says in anger to her. He already has a bad feeling about that man. if Rebecca got to attach to him things may be messy.

"Ok, fine am leave, but I will come back tomorrow ".

Rebecca says and leaves.

Ron looked at the place where Rebecca was standing in .and up his temple and say

" from the dark nature magic in his wound, he may be......, no no way he is one of those creatures ".

In the morning:

Rebecca came back early,  to try to heal him again .but to her surprise his wounds are already healed. When she asks Ron he told her that he didn't do anything.

Suddenly they her he murmurs a foreign word they never hear.

Rebecca leaned close to his face to hear clear when she feels his fingers push her hair from her face so she turns her head to look at his black eye.

She feels like she has been stuck into a deep black void as her cheeks go red.

He glares at her for a while before he takes away his hand from her face and says.

"You are light magic users??"

"Yea, how did you know that ?"

" I can feel the energy flow"

" huh?. Then..."

"It's best if you leave. Before the gatekeeper find you"

Ron says to the man.

The man closes his eye before he pushes his body to get out of the bed .but when he put his weight on his legs. He felt dizzy and weak then collapse but Rebecca held his body before hitting the ground.

"His body is weak.it best...."

Ron cut her in anger remove her from him which make the man's body fall on the ground Kneeling.

" THAT IS ENOUGH REBECCA, HE IS A DARK CREATURE. HE IS DANGEROUS "

Then Ron gathers water magic in his hand in the shape of a bullet. Aiming at the man.

The man laughs and says " I never thought in my life. that I will die in the hand of low human "

Before Ron kills the man Rebecca stands in front of him .then she turns her body and slaps the man on the face while crying.

Then look at her in shock. This is the first time someone lay his hand on him let alone slap him

" I remember you saying that you will curse your brother. Right? You want revenge. Then tell me how you doing to do that if you die ."

Then she looks at the old man Ron into the eye and says " just because he is a dark creature doesn't mean that he is a bad person " family d

The two men look at her for a while before Ron sigh and say " the gatekeeper...."

"He is weak .even weaker than us .how the gatekeeper will find him?" Rebecca says while smiling at the man .then help him to sit on the bed.

"Why are you helping me, human?"

The man asks.

" I remember 2 years ago. I was trapped in a situation I thought that nobody would help me but I was wrong.  So I want to help you .just like her."

"Rebecca," Ron says.

"Please, Ron " Rebecca looks at Ron in empathy while holding the man.

"Fine. But one suspicion move and you are done"

Ron says then left.

The man look at her. He felt warmth in his heart nobody not even his care about him. It was I very foreign thing to him.

"Rolland "

Rebecca looks at him in confusion.

"My name is Rolland "

"Oh, am Rebecca," she says to him .and opens her palm to him to shake.

He looks at her in confusion. Then he looks at her he sees her start to laugh and take his hand in her hand and smile.

"This is called a handshake. We do it a lot "

"Oh"

Rolland says as he keeps looking at Rebecca in the eye like he is trying to figure something out.

"Alright, I going to bring you something to eat ".

Rebecca says then left.

Rolland closes his eye trying to process all the things that happen to him so far.

"First I need to heal my self then....." an aflash of memories across his mind .he clenched the bedsheet trying to suppress his anger

"I will get my throne back. Brother ".

Suddenly Ron enters the room and looks at him before saying.

"This a warring. if you try anything on her I will kill you immediately. Understand?"

Ron says.

"I have no interest in humans. "

"Don't lie, you saw something in her, didn't you. You even didn't treat her badly and let her touch you!!"

Rolland look at the old man in confusion

"You seem to know a lot about us dark creatures "

Ron seems to freeze before opening the door and says.

"She already suffers from her past. If you see something hurt her it better to distance yourself from her before it happens" then left.

Rolland look at the door then say.

" I won't know, because I don't see her future ".

After awhile Rebecca came with food .then start to talk to him about life in this village. And her past. She didn't know why she feels so comfortable with him. Like he is her other half.

"Rebecca ?"

When he says her name she feels goosebumps on her body.

"Yes..a?"

Then look at her in the eye. It seems like time stop before he says

"On the scale from 0 to 10, how strong are you?"

Rebecca was disappointed and ashamed to answer his question.

"I .. don't...know how to fight well hehe "

She says while rubbing her head in shame.

Rolland sigh then says " how about I train you in exchange for me staying here?"

"Huh, you don't need to..."

"I want to"

Rebecca looks at him for a while then smiles and opens her plan for him.

Rolland look at her hand then covers this face as he smiles and shakes her hand.
