Chapter 10: New Comics

"Lucien, now that one punch is very hot, and 'shonen jump' was officially entered the field of comics. We need to come up with new comics to enrich the iron while it is still hot."-Andy said truthfully on the phone.

No comic magazine is supported by one comic alone, otherwise it would be better to just directly issue a single book.

"Ah, well at this current time I have drawn the first issues of two cartoons. Uncle Andy you will also need to adjust the layout of the magazine as 'One Punch Man' is a shorter story. It won't last to long."-Lucien said flatly, after pondering for a moment.

At this reply Andy's voice became higher as he was immediately worried: "Two cartoons? Won't you become too tired? Please take your time and don't worry."

Cartoonists generally work slowly and meticulously, with an average level of one page a week. Andy is worried that Lucien is over doing it with three comics at the time as well as doing much more then just one page, Other cartoonist might die from the amount of overwork Lucien just signed up to.

"Relax Uncle. Do you think I am a desperate person?"-Lucien owns a cartoonist system, and it wouldn't take long to draw a page based on any of the comics made in his past life and the assistance of the system's phantom outline.

"Besides, I still have yet to build my comic empire."

Listening to Lucien's arrogant voice, Andy smiled with a knowingly look in his eyes. Andy didn't think that Lucien's words were actually that arrogant, it was indeed possible for Lucien to build this empire.

Lucien repeatedly asked Andy to help take care of the body of the company while he paints the comics. After painting, Andy was going to personally come up to pick up the draft. Having finished their talk, Lucien shook his head and hanged up the phone.

The hamster, Gali, was lying on the sofa next to him with a bulging mouth as she keeper chewing on snacks. This was a new discovery Lucien made. As long as Gali has something to fill her mouth, she won't make the 'cooing' sound(Stomach rumbling), So he went out and bought a lot of snacks.

Gali looked at him with joy before looking forward and asking, "Lucien you have new comics? Really? Can I see?"

Gali really likes to read Lucien's comic a lot now, although the people in the comics aren't as strong as her father(Galactus), but the story and personal charm has deeply attracted her.

It can be said that the comics are very interesting.

"Um...."

Lucien responded as he called out his system's interface secretly, and started typing a few different names into the search bar, though they were removed after he thought about them.

The reason behind this was that he noticed that his current fan value had reached 200,000 points and he knew that it would soon stop scrolling up and slow down later.

'One Punch Man' has become a shocking bullet and a new trend-setting wave. People had become fans after reading it once. After the calculation though, it would not count them again until the next month.

A comic magazine generally serialises ten to twenty different comics, and most of them hold one story in each comic.

Lucien could have published more then a dozen books by next week and put them in slowly, but doing this would lessen and reduced the impact of the influence of these comics greatly. The dazzling comics will only be seen in front of the fans.

He needs each comic to be fermented, and have each comic become the focus of discussion in the industry after their release. Only in this way can his fan value given by the comics be rewarded in the most profitable way.

Otherwise, the neglected comics will not be received as good but many might be regarded as bad and the fan value will be reduced accordingly.

Therefore, in the current shonen jump, it is not suitable for a large number of serialisations. They need to be put in slowly, and only adding two need comics are suitable.

The only difficulty is now choosing which manga is good, and what kind of manga can challenge the 'American Team'.

There are classics, such as: Naruto, Dragon ball, etc..., But these pages are too long and slow to get heated up. I am afraid that the Marvel world will be too restless before it gets the chance to ferment.

There is also a landmark EVA but that is not suitable for the current United States. Although there is a shadow of the bible in it, the connotation of the times may not be directly exploded, and it would need to be condensed.

From Andy's point of view, the comic doesn't matter as long as the fire is on it. Lucien though, knows that the Marvel world is dangerous. What he needs to do is explode the comic market quickly and throw a series of deep-sea bombs into it.

Why is 'One Punch Man' popular?

Is it not because he overthrew the current definition of superhero, this had shocked most people's world view. That had attracted the most attention, and even got the media interested.

It's fire is the explosion needed to jumpstart his entrance to the market.

And now the next comics that Lucien is going to publish must continue to challenge the world view of people, or impact the inner resonance of the comic market.

These kind of comics can't be a long story, nor can it be slow, let alone allow people to make guesses in clouds. Lucien considers drawing the comics to be the current limit to his self-protection ability.

At the same time, the subject of superheroes is rampant, the trend of the market place and preferences of the mainstream people, as such it is the pressure of life and so only violent cartoons are the best choice at the moment.

Lucien now needs to seize the current hot spots to stimulate his audience, and the new comics should set off a new wave of discussions in the first three chapters.

Whether it's blowing or spaying, as long the focus is formed, the fan value will be credited to him like flowing water from a tap.

Thinking of this, Lucien had two comics flash into his mind. These two comic were exactly in line with his vision, and he hurriedly typed them into his search bar.

As soon as the virtual interface screen turned, Lucien activated the phantom outline and picked up his paintbrush and started copying the ghost marks.

This was also a short-to-medium comic, though different from 'One Punch Man' in respect of their themes as they are all different.

The comic he is drawing has; Bloody violence, Thinking about human nature (philosophy), and beautiful girls.

"Huh? Lucien, how can you draw this kind of comic?"-Gali was surprised to see the comic that was forming before her from beginning to the end.

Everyone must know that 'One punch man's themes are; Cool, humorous, and inspiring.

The comic that has been created is completely different from this.

Lucien touched Gali's silky purple hair, and smiled deeply, "Well, this should be exciting enough."
